Every day's great at your... Animus?

Characters: Yosuke Hanamura and YOU! Yes, YOU!
Setting: Room 2-14 and Floor 14
Format: Action is vastly preferred, but I'll prose if you want. Just be warned - prose tags take me a lot longer.
Summary: Yosuke arrives! Derping ensues.
Warnings: Swearing!

Room 2-14

[Yosuke's never been quick to wake up - unless it's someone waking him up in the middle of class. Laying in bed an extra few minutes is normal. What's not normal is the bed, the room, or anything about this place. And then panic ensues! What we end up with is one Yosuke trying his best to keep calm as he takes in these strange surroundings in a slight panic]

What the hell?! Who's idea of a joke is this!

Floor 14

[Yosuke - now dressed in his usual threads, headphones around his neck, has found his way to the entertainment room. He doesn't feel particularly jolly though, and rather than enjoy the entertainment he's sprawled on a couch, looking up and contemplating the last few hours of his life]

She's not exactly bright. Or normal. Or sane. Or anything resembling a responsible adult.

But I guess she's technically better than the guy she replaced.

Oh man, King Moron was the worst! Every day he'd lecture us on how we were all filthy disgusting perverts. He'd just go on and on, so I'd fall asleep in his classes nine times out of ten.

[Moonlit Christmas dinners with Souji and his porn stash?]

Oh goodness, that sound's horrible! My homeroom teacher was mostly just fussy, nothing too worth noting. My history teacher liked to wear a rather large and heavy looking samurai helmet, though.

Really? That sounds a lot like one of ours - she has this crazy Egyptian get-up she wears every day.

You know, thinking about it....

[And it's now something occurs to him]

Wait, so if you were in Iwatodai, that means you went to Gekkoukan, right? That's where we visited on our trip!

Yup! And I bet you're from Yasogami High, right? They're who invited us for the trip.

Pretty weird, huh? Maybe it was fate we meet here! [Her tone is teasing and playful.]

... though I wish it were under better circumstances.

[She's prevented a meltdown, but he's still not thrilled to be here. And who can blame him?]

Have you been here long?

Only a few weeks or so, now, but I've talked to people who've been here quite a few months.

[She stares off, expression a little wistful.]

To be honest with you, I'm not quite sure how I can even be alive to be taken in the first place! But apparently that happens around here, sometimes.

[Now that catches his attention. It's his turn to be concerned now]

Wait, what do you mean? Of course you're alive. You're right here, we're talking. And I don't remember letting the world end on my watch.

[She skirts the first part of the question, heading straight for the end.]

On your watch, huh? [She winks good naturedly.] Am I speaking with a super hero?

[Well played, Minako. You've avoided the question for now]

I wouldn't call myself a superhero or anything! It's nothing that crazy.

Now you've got me curious! What's nothing too crazy?

[Well... it's not like there's any reason to keep it a secret...]

I could tell you, but I doubt you'd actually believe me.

Try me.

[She grins, brushing her bangs out of her face a little in an absent minded gesture.]

[Alright, time to make the explanation as crazy as possible]

My friends and I went into another world inside TV's to stop a killer and accidentally foil a crazy goddess' plans for the end of the world. Or something like that.

[She laughs a little, face bright and cheerful and most definitely not skeptical.]

I think you even have me beat! TV world, huh?

[Shit, that's a shock. He almost even missed her off-hand comment, but stops himself from saying more]

Hold on a second. You got part of my story, so let's hear part of yours. Have you beat?

[Time to make her response just as lavishly clusterfucked!]

Me and my friends would be awake during a secret extra hour of the day between 12:00 am and 12:01, where everything turns green-ish and liquid turns into blood and everyone else is asleep inside coffins, and we had to go exploring a Tower that appeared where my school was supposed to be called Tartarus, and get aaaall the way to the top while summoning our psyches by shooting ourselves with a special gun to fight monsters spread throughout, and then prevent the end of the world by stopping the coming of a death goddess at the very top of the tower.

[Whew that was a mouth full.]

My school would literally turn into hell at night when everyone was asleep.

[Yosuke gapes in disbelief for a moment after that - not that her story seems far-fetched, but that she'd consider it the lesser of the two stories]

Hold on just a second. At best we're tied, and that's giving my story a lot of leeway!

But you got to see a world inside the TV.
