[The Fellowship of Animus] || [Part1] || [Recruitment]
Characters: Fi, Gandalf, Xion, Zelda and everyone in the tower who want things to change
Setting: Any floor, any day from the 18 to the 26 (except the 21)
Format: Prose or action, whichever you prefer
Summary: Recruitment for the Council of the Sages (Fellowship of Animus). The four recruiters will walk throughout the tower in order to find and speak with the people they think could help. Anyone is welcome. There's no real setting, those four are just gonna go and bother people during their daily Animus life. So feel free to pick a day and location of your choice, otherwise it’ll be randomized. OOC Post is here if you want more information. Happens after this reunion.
Warnings: None. The recruiters will do this together, but feel free to put in the subject line if you’d rather want someone in particular to do it. The others recruiters may threadjack at any moment.
If you are a good person, don't reek with evil, and would love to help, odds are that at least one of those four, Gandalf, Zelda, Fi and Xion, is gonnabother you speak with you about changing the fate of the people in the tower. If you're evil... Some derps may approach you anyway.
Gandalf's idea ever since he first set foot in the tower was to see its people work together- About everyone in the tower has something in common: the desire to change life in the tower ultimately to see their homeworld restored. To that purpose Gandalf convinced Zelda to lead a movement. She was perfect for the role: princess, chosen by wisdom, descendant of a goddess.
Now remains to actually get the people into that movement. The network is too dangerous for that, you don't know who else is watching. So here, they're roaming the tower to find those who wish to stand free and fight the evil. Zelda, Gandalf, but also Fi and Xion, the only two other people in the tower who are aware of this plan and its purpose. And here it goes.

Pretty girl to start with, Gandalf may be showing up later!
She steps up to the window, close enough to be in conversational distance, but not intrusive by any means, and though she does not touch it, she looks out all the same.]
I wonder if it will ever clear at some point.
pretty girls are always great! <3
I just got here--it's always like this?
[He thinks this over for a second.] I think the sun's gotta come out, one of these days.
Figured that would be the case for Zidane~ <3
[She looks over in turn then, honestly a bit surprised at his sudden change in demeanor. But she offers a small, curious smile in return all the same.]
Do you?
Oh, of course!
[He nods. In spite of his conflicted feelings about his brother and the Tower, he just can't believe that everything he did before was all for nothing. And he promised to go back to Dagger, so obviously he's got to keep his promise.]
Sure, I do. Nothing lasts forever. So I won't give up hoping.
no subject
I must say, your optimism is refreshing. And you are right - no matter how dark the night may seem, dawn will always come eventually.
no subject
[He's been on the verge of giving up in the past, and if he had... who knows what would have happened?]
That's what I believe, too. No matter how long it takes.
And--it looks brighter already now that you're here! [He grins.] The name's Zidane. Great to meet you.
no subject
[Though there's a bit of a headtilt at his comment about it being brighter. Though she hasn't been stuck in a castle all her life, she's still rather inexperienced in the romance department, and so such a comment only strikes her as odd. Still, she smiles back, bowing her head in greeting.]
And it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Zidane. I am Zelda, Princess of Hyrule.
no subject
[He definitely believes that.
She is a very pretty princess, and it's certainly not disloyal to Dagger to think so, if it's only the truth.]
Oh, a princess! Hey, you should've told me sooner. I better show my respect, huh? [He bows low, still smiling, even teasing a little, but warmly. He puts on a more courtly voice, as he might when playing a part.] At your service, Your Majesty.
no subject
It's been a long few days, and the temptation to indulge in something not so serious is just too much.]
Your graciousness is an honor, Sir Zidane. [This is silly.] Though if I may be frank, I do not mind being treated as any other person. We are of equal standing in this place, after all.
no subject
Sir! I've already got promoted, and I only just got here. Hm, I know some knights, and I don't know if I've got what you'd call a knightly attitude, so I'll just stay plain Zidane, if you don't mind. [But he's still teasing.] All right if I call you plain Zelda, then?
[He sobers, a little.]
But I am at your service. If you need any help, just ask. Seems like the kind of place where people've got to help each other out. [Though pretty much everywhere is that kind of place, where Zidane's concerned.]
no subject
Yes, plain Zelda is fine, Zidane.
[That bout of silliness out of the way, his words bring her back into the mission-focused mindset she's been in the majority of the past few days. She nods, the amusement gradually leaving her eyes.]
You would be correct in that regard. ... As a matter of fact, my reasons for approaching you were not entirely casual. You see, myself and a few others are leading an effort to gather and organize the people here into a cohesive group for the purpose of unraveling the mysteries of this place, and, as you said, help one another during our time here.
Is that something you would be interested in, by any chance?
no subject
[And with one more grin for good measure, he sobers up, too, but he's still smiling.]
Really? That's great! I was hoping there was something like that around. In my experience, working together gets a lot more done than working alone. I'm ready to do whatever it takes to help the people here.
You can count me in.
no subject
She bows her head gratefully, her own smile thankful.]
We hope that will be the case here as well, since working separately has obviously not lead to much success.
Thank you. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated, as will your spirit, I am sure.
no subject
No problem! Like I said, I'm glad to help. [But then, he pauses. Dilemma time.] Oh, and--I'm also working with my brother. [Kuja is sort of his brother, and he's got to help him out. He said they'd team up.
Although admittedly, Kuja is a potential problem. Hmm.]
Is it okay if he joins up, too?
ohgod Zidane no
If he wishes to, and is willing to work with everyone else - of course.
haha I'm sorry
Right?
And this way, he can better keep an eye on him. Right.]
Sure! I'll have to ask him about it, but I think it'll be okay. [He hopes.] So, what's the state of the group so far? You said a few people are involved--anything I can do to help with getting stuff together?
Zelda is going to have her hands full trying to get people to work together, oi.
[And given the tower's penchant of throwing horrors their way at any moment, any set date will likely be subject to change, unfortunately.]
You could aid in spreading the word? As well as help inform people when and where the meeting shall take place when that is determined.
It's okay, Zidane will deal with Kuja--sort of!
Gotcha. I can do that! You can count on me. Whenever you need me, just ask, Zelda. Like I said, I'm at your service.
[He gave a little wink, though he was serious.
He knew Kuja was set on his "plan", but still, Zidane thought he could use people who were really willing to help him.]
There's a lot of good people here, it seems like. Everyone I've met so far's been great. [He's still smiling, but he pauses, thoughtfully.] But I heard there've been problems. With some of the people, I mean. Not too much trouble, I hope?
[Whatever "evil" people Kuja was talking about.]
GOOD LUCK TO YE, ZIDANE.
There are quite a few that are no better than our captors in terms of morality, unfortunately. Most of the incidents regarding them thus far have been isolated, to my knowledge, but... I have reason to believe that they may have formed something of an alliance amongst themselves.
[A bit of a sigh, because honestly, they have enough problems without the villains getting involved.]
... Knowing the man to seems to be at the alliance's head, I cannot say I can see its purpose being beneficial for anyone but themselves.
