[The Fellowship of Animus] || [Part1] || [Recruitment]

Characters: Fi, Gandalf, Xion, Zelda and everyone in the tower who want things to change
Setting: Any floor, any day from the 18 to the 26 (except the 21)
Format: Prose or action, whichever you prefer

Summary: Recruitment for the Council of the Sages (Fellowship of Animus). The four recruiters will walk throughout the tower in order to find and speak with the people they think could help. Anyone is welcome. There's no real setting, those four are just gonna go and bother people during their daily Animus life. So feel free to pick a day and location of your choice, otherwise it’ll be randomized. OOC Post is here if you want more information. Happens after this reunion.

Warnings: None. The recruiters will do this together, but feel free to put in the subject line if you’d rather want someone in particular to do it. The others recruiters may threadjack at any moment.


If you are a good person, don't reek with evil, and would love to help, odds are that at least one of those four, Gandalf, Zelda, Fi and Xion, is gonna bother you speak with you about changing the fate of the people in the tower. If you're evil... Some derps may approach you anyway.

Gandalf's idea ever since he first set foot in the tower was to see its people work together- About everyone in the tower has something in common: the desire to change life in the tower ultimately to see their homeworld restored. To that purpose Gandalf convinced Zelda to lead a movement. She was perfect for the role: princess, chosen by wisdom, descendant of a goddess.

Now remains to actually get the people into that movement. The network is too dangerous for that, you don't know who else is watching. So here, they're roaming the tower to find those who wish to stand free and fight the evil. Zelda, Gandalf, but also Fi and Xion, the only two other people in the tower who are aware of this plan and its purpose. And here it goes.

"--Of course!" Depressing topic be damned, he almost jumped at the chance to answer when she asked him to join, and he was back to grinning excitedly.

OK maybe this wasn't exactly a matter to be beaming over at least, so he did simmer down a bit, and looked at Zelda with both a frown and determination. "I mean... I'm not really that good at finding stuff out, but I want to help how I can anyway."

She blinks in surprise at his immediate response, but she can't help a slight smile of her own at his enthusiasm. Considering her own reservations about leading the whole thing, it's a welcome change of pace.

"That is fine - everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. I would be grateful for any assistance you would be willing to lend." A bow of her head. "Thank you."

"Don't worry about it, I'm just glad to get a chance to help!" He reassured her, smiling again and balling his fist in triumph.

"I'm not that good at information, but I'm a pretty good fighter if I do say so myself," He added, folding his arms behind the back of his head. "Plus it'll give me a reason not to slack off anymore."

"Ah, with that strange blade, I presume?" She asks with a curious tilt of her head. He did say he was training, after all, even if that weapon looks nothing like anything she's seen in her own world.

... Come to think of it, Aqua had something similar, didn't she...?

[forceless]

"Yep!" He said proudly. He held out his right hand, and in a flash of light, Lost Memory was back in his clutches, which he then proceeded to spin on the back of his hand before grabbing it firmly again and hold it in front of him.

"It's called a Keyblade. I've been training with it since I was a kid," And he was still pretty proud, despite the fact that his Master was a total jerk.

"A key-blade...?" She repeats, testing the word on her tongue. Well, that would explain its odd shape, at least.

His little performance piques her interest, to say the least, and she watches with rapt attention. "It certainly seems like you have, with how effortlessly you wield it. Is that the medium through which you use magic in your world?"

[forceless]

He nodded eagerly. "That's right; I've seen people use magic without one, but it's a lot easier for me to do it through my Keyblade. Watch--!"

Ven jumped back a few feet (almost floated, actually) away from Zelda. He spun his keyblade around so he held it normally in his hand instead of backhand, pointed it forward and shot a blast of ice towards a small bunch of flowers.

Zelda gasps in surprise as the cold blast crashes into the flowers, her eyes wide in almost childlike wonder. Despite everything, magic still holds the same sort of novelty it always has.

"Amazing." She moves to inspect the flowers, peering at them curiously. "They seem so versatile - this is the third time I have seen one in use, and each time they have been used to a different end."

Healing, sealing, and now combat magic. It's all quite fascinating, really.

Yeah he's looking-- quite confident and proud of himself right now. Though not to the point of being smug. He was certainly smarter than that.

"They're capable of a lot-- we use them to concentrate a whole bunch of pure magic spells, enhance attacks with magic, summon all sorts of energy, and special physical maneuvers too. We can even transform them!" He was grinning ear to ear now. "Some people specialize in certain areas over others, but a real Master can do all of that stuff and more."

She can't help smiling a bit in return, his pride obvious. And since she's more than thrilled to get her mind off of more grave matters, she's willing to indulge him.

"Do you have a specialty, if I may ask?" It's a bit of a gamble, but, well, if he's a Master, then he's certainly a very young one. Even if she's not entirely certain of what that entails.

"I can do a lot of stuff, but I'm best at Wind and Light magic. Long distance, blowing enemies away and stuff. I can fly for a little bit too!" Guess which part of all of this he's most excited about.

He spun the Keyblade on the back of his hand again and grabbed it, before holding it in front of himself again and striking a bit of a pose. "And I'm the fastest student under my Master!"

...aaand then he remembered his humility and looked sheepish as he continued. "I'm uh, still in training. I never got to take the Exam before I came here."
