Summary: STORM WATCHING PARTY! So the power is out and there's tons of thunderstorms. But don't let that get you down, WATCH THE THUNDERSTORMS! Also pancakes and coffee.
Warnings: STORM WATCHING ! Lots of thunder

Marty had enough of the darkness in the tower and the creeping monsters, so when he looked at the mass of pancakes the automatic pancake maker had made, he loaded them up along with the coffee maker, coffee, the syrup, and toted them all the way up to Floor 38.

There was no way he was going to let those massive stacks of pancakes go to waste, and this was the closest floor to the dorms that actually had some place to hang out, so he set the pancakes up as a sort of continental breakfast, and sat watching the storm.

What he hadn't expected was the people to start trickling in.

"What's a lightning rod?" She was completely honest with her question. As far as she knew, Gensoukyou didn't have those things. Glancing down at the coffee she was offered, Wriggle shook her head. That's definitely not what she could smell before.

"And what's that sweet smell? It doesn't smell like honey, what is it?"

"Uh, it attracts lightning so it doesn't hit other things." That was the best explanation he could give, but it had to do with things like electricity and path of resistance and other things he didn't feel like trying to remember from school. "It's syrup on the pancakes. The Doc made it, you want some?"

Nope, never heard of a device like that. It does seem like it would be useful though. Now confident that nothing will hit her she starts to float over his shoulder to get a better look at what he's eating.

"Syrup? Can I?" It was less a question and more 'I want some'.

"Yeah sure. There's plenty." Marty blinked at her, still not quite used to the weird things that got going on in the Tower. Magic was still a new one to him, at least in that it was real here.
