Summary: STORM WATCHING PARTY! So the power is out and there's tons of thunderstorms. But don't let that get you down, WATCH THE THUNDERSTORMS! Also pancakes and coffee.
Warnings: STORM WATCHING ! Lots of thunder

Marty had enough of the darkness in the tower and the creeping monsters, so when he looked at the mass of pancakes the automatic pancake maker had made, he loaded them up along with the coffee maker, coffee, the syrup, and toted them all the way up to Floor 38.

There was no way he was going to let those massive stacks of pancakes go to waste, and this was the closest floor to the dorms that actually had some place to hang out, so he set the pancakes up as a sort of continental breakfast, and sat watching the storm.

What he hadn't expected was the people to start trickling in.

Wish I could say the same.

[It's happened a few times over the course of his journey, and each time has served as a reminder of how dangerous the darkness is. But instead of dwell on it for too long, he'll try and keep cool.]

Still, I guess watching a storm isn't so bad. Sure beats sitting around in the dark, anyway.

At least you're not out in this one. [She moves over a bit on her seat and motions.]

Want to sit down and join me? Have some of this really diluted coffee. [She swishes her mug under his nose.]

[...Oh, Kairi. How can Riku refuse with an offer like that?

He'll go ahead and sit down, chuckling softly.]

Sure you don't mind sharing?

Of course not. Unless you're going to give me cooties or something. [She wrinkles her nose in mock disgust.]

Because I can't have cooties.

[...Cooties? Seriously?

He leans towards her with a sly grin.]

Might want to watch out, then. I might be contagious.

[It's a serious condition, Riku. :|

She leans back, batting at his face playfully and giggling.]

Nooo, stay back.

Too late.

[He clasps a hand on her shoulder. No escape!]

Oh no, what do I do now? [Other than have a gigglefit, she means.]

[keybearer]

Nothing you can do. It's too late.

[Muahahaha... ha.]

Then I guess I have to accept my fate. [Exaggerated sigh...

Before she pinches his nose.]

[keybearer]

[...Kairi, what even.

He crosses his arms, raising a brow.]

Is that supposed to be payback?

[luckycharmed]

[She has to find some way to entertain herself. Bothering Riku is at the top of that list.]

It's the best I could come up with at the moment.

Give me a minute and I could think of something worse.

[keybearer]

[Go on, Kairi. Show him what you've got!]

[There is a tiny stretch of silence before she shoves her coffee mug far away. Then she checks to make sure there is nothing breakable nearby nor anyone who might get hit in the ensuing flailing.

And then she tickles him.]

[keybearer]

[...What sort of terror has he unleashed?!

Oh yeah. Riku's immediate reaction is to bite his lip in an attempt to hold back his laughter.

But, oh, he's not about to let her have the upper hand for too long. Time to tickle her back with a vengeance!]

[luckycharmed]

[The most awful evil of all. The tickle monster!

Oh no, don't hold back too much, you might burst a blood vessel, Riku.

She squeals as he counterattacks, curling around his arms to trap him.]

Eek!

[keybearer]

[He's gonna do his best to get his arms free and keep going! Take that.]

[luckycharmed]

[Nooooo! There's going to be much squirming.

So much so that she falls back.]

[keybearer]

[And theeeen... he'll stop. Out of the blue. You know, just to let her catch her breath.]

Had enough yet?

[luckycharmed]

[She looks up at him, setting her jaw with determination.]

Hardly.

[keybearer]

Then, go ahead. I'm wide open.

[...this may be a bad idea on his part.]

[LUNGES! She is going to tickle every inch of you she can, Riku. Even if she has to cause them both to tumble to the floor and roll around like kids.]
