Summary: STORM WATCHING PARTY! So the power is out and there's tons of thunderstorms. But don't let that get you down, WATCH THE THUNDERSTORMS! Also pancakes and coffee.
Warnings: STORM WATCHING ! Lots of thunder

Marty had enough of the darkness in the tower and the creeping monsters, so when he looked at the mass of pancakes the automatic pancake maker had made, he loaded them up along with the coffee maker, coffee, the syrup, and toted them all the way up to Floor 38.

There was no way he was going to let those massive stacks of pancakes go to waste, and this was the closest floor to the dorms that actually had some place to hang out, so he set the pancakes up as a sort of continental breakfast, and sat watching the storm.

What he hadn't expected was the people to start trickling in.

Do you happen to know anything about what's going on?

[Despite everything, his tone is casual. He settles down next to his taller self and prepares to start cleaning his own sword.]

Had I to wager a guess, I would say the power has gone out and that is why the monsters are congregating. This Tower runs not on magic, but on something very similar to the lightning outside, from what I am told.

[ Link is finally done cleaning their sword off, as well, tone entirely casual as well. After all, don't panic till you need to, right? They sheathe the Master Sword and settle back down. ]

The power went off before and there was a similar incident to this, though the entire Tower collapsed in upon itself in a monster-infested singular room.

Hmm... How odd. I wonder if there's a way to turn it back on. [It smells of Quest to him.]

It... It did what? [Link looks up, surprised.]

It became a single room not unlike the dungeons we've been in. But I had never seen so many twisted versions of what I've fought before as I had then. It was exhausting, to be honest. So many people could fight, thankfully, that not too many got hurt.
