{01} Intro
Characters: Aphrodi and whoever he bumps into!
Setting: Room 1-18 for most of the morning, everywhere else in the afternoon
Format: Action, but I can match!
Summary: enter obligatory confused!introduction! And perhaps a little bit of sulking around since he doesn't want to be here.
Warnings: teeny reference to death, possibly language and um, that's it for now. Will update if needed!
[Room 1-18]
[ The first thought that pops into Aphrodi's head when he wakes up and finds he can't move is that, damn, he's dead again. The fact that he even had to wake up in the first place was a huge giveaway to something weird having happened but once the sleep paralysis passes, things stop making sense.
He can get up. So he's... still kind of alive. Okay, that's always a good thing. Aphrodi tugs at his collar a few times to try and get it off but it refuses to budge. That's not so okay. It's not the kind of thing he usually wears, and plus its implications are rather scary to think about (being owned by something is certainly not what he planned to do in his remaining days on Earth. Or not Earth, it seems). And then he sees the notes, which makes things even more not-okay, and then he starts to panic a little.
So, fellow dwellers of Room 1-18, you have yourselves +1 roommate (still in the clothes he woke up in) currently obsessively brushing his hair, generally being jittery and pacing the room and some feathers scattered about. He tried to pick them up at first and put them on a pile on his bed but gave up. ]
[Everywhere Else]
[ Aphrodi managed to calm himself down by the time the afternoon rolled around and finally got himself dressed into something more casual -- although the collar is still annoying and wouldn't come off, so it's covered with a scarf that only kind of matches the outfit. He's stomping around and trying to memorise every single room and corridor that he comes across.
Not to mention he's kicking a soccer ball around because he finds that dribbling it helps keep him grounded when he's in a situation where he has no idea what else to do; what better than to keep on doing what's familiar? He'd already thanked whatever gods (and himself, of course) brought his soccer ball along with the rest of his stuff.
...He's not being too observant, so if he does bump into someone or kick the ball at them a little too hard, it's completely on accident. ]

room 1-18!
But feathers!! They've always come in handy on his adventures, and these look quite nice, so who knows what he can do with them?]
no subject
But he's so tiny. Aphrodi isn't allowed to be mean to tiny people. In fact, he's not even allowed to be mean. He stops and turns to face Link. ]
Can you... please just... leave the feathers for now?
no subject
... Alright. He puts the feathers on Aphrodi's bed then, with the rest of them, before toddling back over to him.]
... You're new, right?
no subject
If you mean by "new" that I've just been brought to this... place, then yes.
no subject
[Surprisingly, that gets a big smile from him!]
My name's Link, but there's a bunch of other Links here, so... you can call me Sea instead!
[This guy looks seriously worried, though...
He steps closer then, reaching up and grabbing Aphrodi's hand to sit him down on one of the beds.]
Are you worried about those dumb letters, mister?

Them Hallways
Ack! What the-- Watch where you're throwing things! I CAN'T CONCENTRATE IF UNIMPORTANT OBJECTS KEEP HITTING ME!
I swear this blasted tower will be demolished by my own hands when I get the chance to!
[Well Veigar, aren't you a beaming bundle of sunshine and rainbows... wait, that's Lux.]
no subject
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hit you. [ He'll jog over and pick the ball back up with a sheepish smile. ]
Do you need some help? [ You're kinda... small... ]
no subject
[Not that he asked, but of course Veigar would think that the world needs to be reminded every five minutes or so.
He took a moment to look at the other curiously before scoffing.]
I haven't seen you before. A new pet for the blasted rulers of this godforsaken place mayhaps? Or maybe just another of their childish experiments?
no subject
I'm Aphrodi, and yes, I am new -- arrived here earlier today actually. [ ...wait. ] "childish experiments"?
no subject
Ah, but of course you'd be a new addition. I suppose this is the part I should say that I'm sorry that you ended up here.
[He grins as he twirls his rod before sheathing it.]
And yes, childish experiments. You'll get to experience those soon. If you weren't a lab rat before, start getting used to it because that's all we are to the owners of this subpar prison.

Despite his current appearance, though - worn down by the tower worse than Link has been - he's... giving Aphrodi a bit of a gentle smile.
The angel might notice his uniform isn't the shade of orange it usually is - rather, a royal shade of purple.]
... It's been a while since I saw you last.
no subject
But Aphrodi does remember who this is because he remembers putting him in the hospital, whoops. He'd say it would be nice to see him but... he kind of doesn't look so good. ]
I didn't think I'd see you here.
no subject
[He's well past over it, at least!]
Any friend of Kidou's is a friend of mine, after all.
[He drops the ball in front of him then, giving it a small kick back to Aphrodi.]
no subject
Of course. The same goes for me, too.
It's nice to have met you here. I'm, ah, Aphrodi. [ This is accompanied with a sheepish smile and a hand out for shaking should Genda want to. ]
no subject
[He takes the other's hand, giving it a firm shake. It'll take more than a few monsters to break Neo Japan's goalkeeper, after all.]
... I hope you'll be able to handle what you've been drug into.
But after that match, I don't have any doubts.

hallways etc etc
Being meguca is suffering, etc.]
Ow...um...who did that...?
no subject
Sorry! [ He runs a little to pick up the ball again before dipping his head to Madoka in apology. ]
hallways!!
That ball's getting stopped all of a sudden - and then... thrown back towards Aphrodi.
If he looks close enough, he might notice a certain little Poncle down there, kind of peeved about nearly being squished.
... But he's pretty sure Aphrodi's a girl, so he's not going to be too angry.]
Hey - watch where you kick that ball, Honey!
Don't you know there's people 'round here who aren't big enough to dodge something like that??
no subject
Once he sees that the person (...?) that he had almost hit, he feels incredibly guilty. Aphrodi will crouch down. ]
Ah, I'm so sorry! I didn't realise you were there.
no subject
Heheh!
[Damn, if only this pretty girl can see his grin right now --
But he hops a bit, smiling anyway!]
So, what's your name, honey? Ya look pretty new to this dingy, run down tower!
no subject
I'm Aphrodi! It's nice to meet you.
I did just arrive, yes -- just this morning, in fact.

and then days later orz
fashionably late you mean
He hesitates to approach the other boy because of their, uh, history, but he'll end up sitting down quietly and watching the penguins as well.
It's kind of tragic that they're flightless. ]
only way to be late when you're this ~fabulous~
Aphrodi!
Of course. ~*~fabulous~*~ people live by a different set of rules
So he'll just smile and nod. Smooth. ]
Hello. I hope you don't mind me joining you.
of course. can't be on the same level with normal people after all
/That/ would surely be embarrassing.
exactly; can't have that happening otherwise our fabulousness might get revoked
Got to be ~fashionably late~ every now and again-- /shot
it's the only way to live
once you go you can't go back
it's a curse being this fabulous /hair flip
something we must live with, alas. Normal people won't understand.
