If I can no longer feel a thing..
Characters: Tohko Amano and anyone who wanders by.
Setting: Dorm Room 1-09.
Format: Starting in prose, but I'll match you!
Summary: Tohko wakes up to find that she's lost her flu symptoms..and her ability to feel things.
Warnings: None right now.
When Tohko woke up that morning, if she hadn't know that she had fallen asleep in her own bed last night, she would have worried about where she was. She couldn't feel the bed beneath her, the freezing cold, and she couldn't tell if she was still running a fever or not. She couldn't feel a thing, and since she couldn't see anything either, she was afraid to leave her bed and move about. She could hear things..but that was about it. She couldn't use her crutch anymore, and it wasn't like she would be able to tell where walls were. Scared and sad, due to being cut off from everything she liked, Tohko began to cry..not that she could feel the tears. She could only hear her sobs. Out of desperation, she cried out.
"Please, is anyone there? If you can hear me..please, talk to me! I..I need your help."

I can hear you. What do you need?
no subject
Thank goodness..please, come into the room and help me get up. I can't see or feel anything..
no subject
You just need help getting up? I suppose being stuck here would be scary.
no subject
Getting up..and if the door isn't open, it would be nice if you could get me onto the stairs. Being stuck here isn't scary..but not being able to see, feel, or taste is.
[She sighed.]

[He needed to see to help, that much was obvious. Since she couldn't see, he didn't have much in the way of reservations. With a rustle, he undid the bandages around his eyes and stuffed them in his pocket.]
Alright, let's get you up.

Seiko pushes off of the door and roughly hits it with a clenched fist.
"Hello??" She cries. "Hello - are you in there? Please answer me!"

"Yes, I'm in here! Please, come in! I..I need your help.."

Kidou opens the door to Tohko's room and steps in.]
Tohko? Are you alright?
no subject
Kidou! Thank goodness..thank you for coming in. I'm..I'm not fine. I can't feel anything, and nor can I see. Could you help me get up? I'm really sorry about this..

He makes his way over and gently places his hand on her shoulder]
If you can't feel then you can't very well walk. [He thinks for a moment.]
... Where did you want to go? I'll carry you.
no subject
[Tohko sighed as she heard him walk over. She couldn't feel him putting a hand on her shoulder.]
Maybe not..but I still have to try. Ah, you don't have to carry me! I wouldn't want you to get weighed down..and I was thinking that I should probably eat something first so that I don't die of starvation..and then go to the library and see if I can find some audiobooks and something to play them on. After that..I don't know where I should go.
no subject
[He smiles just a bit, even though she can't see it.]
Here, I'll help you to your feet. If you can't walk, I'm going to carry you. [That's said very sternly. There's no way he'll just leave his friend all by herself in this kind of condition.]

So she could crush it under her heel, of course. So when she pushed the door open, casting a wary look around it as she stepped inside, it was for her her own benefit. When she spoke, her voice was hoarse and nasally, weaker than she would have liked.
"What's going on in here?"
no subject
"Ah, I remember you..thank you for coming in. I'm sorry..but I can't see or feel anything anymore. Could you help get me up?"
no subject
"Just what the Hell did ya do to lose all the feeling in your body?" Her voice was loud and accusatory, taking heavy steps towards the bed. When she reached it, she took one of Tohko's hand, tugging it away and squeezing it just hard enough to try and make her flinch or draw back; some reaction to show that this was all some kind of bullshit prank. "C'mon. I got your hand, so try and get up." A moment. She wasn't entirely sure how to handle this sort of situation. "I'm not gonna let ya fall or whatever."
no subject
Tohko didn't flinch or draw back-she wouldn't have even been aware that the girl was holding her hand if she hadn't said so. Tohko nodded her head and smiled.
"Ah, thank you very much! I'm really sorry about this.."
Carefully, using her memory, Tohko turned her whole body and then forced herself to stand up out of bed. She wasn't sure if she succeeded though.]

She'd seen it on the network and confirmed that this cold was a work of the admins. She'd even understood that it came along with some unusual side effects, but the idea of losing her senses made her blood run cold.

He had spent more time in his dorm since coming back but in an attempt to keep himself sane had chosen to go for a walk. He'd passed the door when the abrupt cry, turning to look at the door like it was a snake. A cry for help - one of many, surely. Without thinking (it was the dorm, it couldn't be a trap could it?) he reached forward to peek inside the door, unsure of what he'd find. A girl?]
What is wrong? Are you hurt?
no subject
Oh, thank you for coming in. I'm sorry..but I can't see or feel anything. Please, could you get me out of bed?
no subject
Could you see or hear before coming here? [It's worth asking] Is there anyone in particular you wish me to take you to? Don't worry, I won't leave you alone. This all must be very frightening.
[He wonders if being without sight and touch feels like floating but doesn't press the thought.]
no subject
I could..it's this darn flu. It's taken away almost all my senses.
[Tohko sighed.]
Thank you..I was going to go to the cafeteria first. Even if I can't feel hunger, if I don't eat, I'll die. After that..I was going to go to the library..but I'm not sure what I'll do there, or even after that.
[Tohko sighed and nodded again.]
Again..thank you..this is rather horrible. By the way..what's your name?
[It did feel like floating all alone in a dark pit. However, that was something Tohko did not want to experience. Being cut off from people was something she feared.]

"Aceman's here!"
Then she noticed Tohko's tears.
"Why is Tohko crying? ...Did someone hurt Tohko? Just tell Shiro. Shiro will go and beat them up for Tohko."
no subject
"Ah, no one hurt me, Shiro. You don't have to worry about that. I was just..scared. Please, I can't see or feel anything. Could you help get me out of bed?"
no subject
"Of course, Shiro will help!"
She helped Tohko wrapped her arm around her shoulders so that she could lean against her to stand.
"What happened?"
no subject
"Ah, thank you very much!"
Tohko couldn't feel Shiro wrapping her arm around her shoulders, but she could hear a bit of it, so she tried standing out of bed. She forced herself to keep standing.
"I'm not sure..it all started when I got the flu..but it slowly started taking away my senses. First my taste, then my sight, and now, my ability to feel things."
