maybe there's nothing
Characters: Makoto Naegi and OPEN
Setting: Dorm Floors
Format: bracketspam!
Summary: He's tired, he just wanted to sleep.
Warnings: Suicidal thoughts, possible death.
[Spring // Everywhere]
[Maizono-san left.
Again.
To him, this chilling rain fit his current mood all too well as he just stood there in the hallways, trudging through silently as he did nothing of sorts to even protect himself. In fact, he was too tired that the only thing he could do was to walk on and try to get his bearings together. February and March at this point, could go to hell for all he care- but that'd be too strong a word for him, hell.
But it's really fitting, since this tower could be comparable to that.
His thoughts were interrupted as he collapsed on a heap, exhaustion, hunger and the cold finally getting to him as he just lied there on the ground, looking as if he's about to die.]

[Sam stops by the collapsed figure, staring down at it as he tries to think of what to do. Is the guy...dead?]
[Don't mind him nudging you with his shoe.]
Um. H-hey. Hey. Are you alive?
no subject
No.

[Nudge nudge nudge nudge.]
A-are you sick?

[Followed by a mobile canopy made of mercury, the green-suited magus halted in his tracks upon finding the lump that was Naegi. It almost felt like he was looking at an unfortunate stray cat left out in the rain.]
[Sighing in some sort of exasperation, Waver knelt down next to him and extended the Mystic Code enough to protect them both from the rain.]
You keep lying around like that, you're likely to drown.
no subject
[He's not making any move to get up, considering how tired he is right now.]
Not my fault, though.
[It is your fault for collapsing, Naegi.]
no subject
[He's nice enough in his own way, Naegi.]

Somehow she needed to see if he was still alive, but placing her hands down somewhere else had only been for Yamada, and Yamada only!! ]
Get up, Naegi-kun.

...And... that voice-]
I don't think I can.
[He just wanted to sleep, is that so hard.]
no subject
And why can you not? For one, you cannot fall asleep here, Naegi-kun. For two, you would not wish to continue to be a nuisance here now, would you? And thirdly, I will not allow you to lay here and be in the way of those wishing to go past you.
[ Something like that— BUT IT'S NOT LIKE SHE CARES ABOUT YOUR HEALTH, OR ANYTHING!! ]

(Even his armband is missing - did it wash away in the flood?)
The second he sees Naegi he wonders if he's drowned, and he immediately stops to kneel beside him and flip him over.]
Naegi-kun!
[He's learned a little volume control since February, and raising his voice now feels... strange. But he wouldn't be heard over the rain otherwise.]
no subject
[The voice sounded smaller than it used to sound, hoarse too as he just stared blankly at Ishimaru, clearly looking very exhausted.]
/notices entire words missing from previous tag, HEADDESKS
You shouldn't be sleeping out in the rain like this.
[Not that it makes much of a difference if it's raining in the dorms as well...]
it's okay we all do that sometimes /o/

...WHY YOU GOTTA DO THIS TO MY HEART
Ishimaru exists in Animus just to break hearts. JUST LIKE CANON... 1/2

Not that she'll everadmit topit. So, rolling her eyes and letting out a slightly exasperated sigh, she'll walk up to Makoto and nudge him with her foot. There's an umbrella in her hand; something she managed to cobble together through a mix of craftsmanship and magic. It's almost completely useless on this rain, but still better than nothing.]
...oi. I'm not gonna have to carry you, am I?
no subject
If you want to, I guess.
[Is he teasing? Or is he just stating things flatly, no one knows at this point.]
no subject
[And with that, she's going to lift Makoto up and toss him over her shoulder as though it were the most normal thing in the world.]

If you arrren't already dead, laying around in the middle of a storm will get you there pretty swiftly.

I know.

[She crouches, slitted eyes scanning over Makoto with an almost disinterested expression]
Wherrre are you hurt? I can seal wounds and stifle the pain, but for more extensive injuries you'll still need rest.

Hauled him up princess style and carried him to the little den she'd made from the various circus tents from the floor she worked on and bundled high with blankets for warmth. Hunger she could not help with at the moment--she would have to see about hunting down game on the forest floors later one--but for now she could get the boy warm and dry.
Once she had him in the tent, she stripped him down. Cold clothing meant he'd freeze to death. Once he was naked she covered him with blankets and sat by the entrance of the tent to make sure the rain didn't flood into it.]
no subject
No seriously that was what he did as he realized that he's now NAKED with a girl nearby.
Under a pile of blanket.
His mind couldn't really completely register WHAT JUST HAPPENED, and couldn't really formulate an answer with it aside from.]
Wart-san, what happened?
[...That thing he just said.]

Huh. It looks like a boy, but boys don't just lay on the ground like that, heck he's not even in a field or meadow where that sort of thing was okay, to sniff flowers and all that stuff.
Of course the only other solution Hibiki could think of is that this was an elaborately made log. With clothes and everything to look like a person! And if being on a journey taught him anything at all, logs are made for sitting.]
Man, Typhlo', this tower's got some pretty cool things sitting around around this place!
