Yotsuba!&..
Characters: Yotsuba Koiwai and you!
Setting: The nineteenth floor on June 19th.
Format: I'm starting in prose, but I'll match you!
Summary: After getting a note from Enoch, Yotsuba decides to search the library for more treasure: information about 'romeance'.
Warnings: None so far!
Yotsuba was always happy to get mail, especially from good friends..but her recent letter inspired her to search the library, since it seemed like it was a huuge beach where seashells and other cool things hid. So, after putting the letter in her pocket, Yotsuba ran down the stairs, careful to avoid any monsters she saw. While she was wearing her sling and sash-pouch, it was still best to avoid any trouble. When she saw the first elevator she found, she pressed the call button and waited, singing to herself to pass the time.
When she finally got onto the elevator, arrived at the meadow, and dashed into the nineteenth floor, her eyes got wide, and she couldn't help but cry out to herself. "There are a lot of gems here! They're really colurful!" Nonfiction books, of course, still looked quite nice, especially to a young child. While Yotsuba was looking for a book to explain 'romentic love', she wasn't the best reader, which resulted in her pulling the first book she found off the shelf and expecting it to have all the answers..when it was just a thin book on psychology.
As Yotsuba tried to read it, her face scrunched up a she tried to make sense of what she was reading. "F..Fruied was..de..deflunked by modern.." After trying to say 'psychologists' and not getting it, Yotsuba glared at the words, as if they were the ones responsible for not having what she was looking for. "That doesn't sound nice!! This isn't a good gem!" Yotsuba closed the book and put it back on the shelf-not in the same spot she had found it in-and kept wandering around, hoping she could find something about what she was looking for.

..Since they had been walking for quite some time, they would probably be coming across the library soon. The moment they did so, Yotsuba would smile and point to it.
"Like the library! It has lots of nice gems!"

"It does have lots of gems."

"Maybe this one will have one about romeance!"
no subject
"It should have a few at least."

"Yay! Where?! Do you know?"

And with Yotsuba sitting on his shoulders she could probably see the books he wouldn't be able to look at.

And with that, Yotsuba started to look around at the different books on the shelves, her hands pressing even harder on the book that was on Lucifel's head. While she saw a lot of cool and interesting books, she was eventually drawn to one thin volume.
"The little..millmaid. What's a millmaid?" She had been trying to say 'mermaid', but had messed up, for better or worse.
uhg me, why all the typos.
"Would you show me that one?"
It's alright! That happens sometimes. :3
Keeping one hand on the book on Lucifel's head, Yotsuba leaned out to the left and, with one hand, managed to grab the blue book that had gotten her attention. With that achieved, she would then sit back down again and put the book right in front of Lucifel's face.
"Here ya go! Yotsuba got it!"
But I realize it too late every time ;A;
Taking the book from Yotsuba then he read the title silently and smiled to himself. So it actually is The Little Mermaid she was talking about.
"Yotsuba, that's read as mermaid, not millmaid. A mermaid is a girl with a fishtail instead of legs and lives underwater."
Ah..same here..;_; Hopefully we'll both get better at noticing them in the future. ><
"Really?! That's awesome! Mermaids would be able to swim all the time then!"
I hope so!
"Yeah, but they can never walk ashore."
Same here!
"Oh..but people can't live underwater either, so it's okay! It's fair!"
♥
"That's true.
♥♥
"Can you read it to me?!" For the moment, Yotsuba's mind had wandered away from her main goal.
♥♥♥
Yotsuba is lucky that he likes to tell tales.
♥♥♥♥♥♥
"Yay!~ This'll be fun!"
Yotsuba really was lucky in that regard..but she wasn't expecting how tragic this tale could be.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
"We will see." He said with a chuckle and took a seat as soon as he had found one.

When Lucifel sat down, Yotsuba quickly took the book off the Angel's head and, quickly tumbled down onto his lap, holding the previous book in hers.
"We will! Hurry and read it, Luci!"
...Yes, she had just made a nickname for the Archangel.

I'm now picturing Lucifel snapping his fingers and giving himself a bad hair day. xD;
Yeah, it would be like that. XD
And then him trying to make it better, only for it to come out worse..
Priceless. XD
That mental image really is wonderful! xD;
Ain't it?
It is..and it'll probably turn into the smallest snippet of a story later, knowing me. ^^;
Ehehehe X3
