Summary: A party/discussion mingle after calling a meeting of the residents.

The anonymous post on the network was an invitation to gather, discuss and share information. Maybe they would get incredibly lucky and get to the bottom of things, such as who was behind the bombings or the strange things that went on during Quarantine.

Someone has been at work down here in the dining hall, moving the tables around to create a space in the middle in case people felt like dancing. Most of the chairs are around the outside and facing the middle, for everyone to see each other better. There was another space and some chairs for musicians, and a couple of the larger tables were set up with a large buffet of normal cafeteria food (because Zo wasn't likely to poison them) and resident prepared dishes, both clearly marked.

Of course, there was always the oatmeal.

[Brunwulf recognised the red-haired man from when they last met. He was also Brunwulf's room mate. The Nord stood watching the other man, arranging tables and the like. Was this a usual activity within the Tower?]

Reno, isn't it? What is going on here?

Hey, Brunwulf. [Reno paused in his efforts and flashed a salute in the big guy's direction.] Heard there was a party happening, I'm just makin' room in case there's dancing. Or fights. There's a bunch'a people in back makin' special dishes.

[Dusting himself off, he extracted himself from a blocked in position with three tables by jumping over a chair.]

Didn't get a memo?

Memo? What in Ysmir's name is a memo? [Sorry, Reno. Have one confused Nord staring right at you.]

I did not know a party was taking place here. What is the occasion?

[Blink.]

Memorandum? Y'know, little notes you make or get to remind ya about dates or appointments.

[He's used to people being confused, luckily, and he shrugs.] Just a party. Bunch'a people sound like they want to discuss some of the crap that happened last month. Uh...

[Oh! Idea!]

Kinda like a town meeting.

[Sorry but Brunwulf has no idea what a memo is, nor does he really care.]

I see. What sort of crap are we talking about here?

The explosions, I guess.

[Reno is not sure if they're even on the same page, really, but he's trying.]

You down here for lunch?

Aye. I felt like I wanted something large and meaty, so here I am. [He let out a deep laugh and gripped the hilt of his axe.]

Where be the meat, lad?

[Reno is just, sort of staring at him now, eyebrows raised to hairline.

'Large and meaty' made his brain instantly drop into the gutter.]

Uh...

[Giving himself a shake, he wrestled his brain back into reality and waves at the kitchen. Not even going to comment on the 'lad' bit.]

If ya wait for a while, they'll bring some food out. Think there's some meat dish in there somewhere... There's a big gathering coming so uh, there'll be music and-

[No, he can't do it.]

Yes. Meat as in some sort of deer or perhaps some fish? [Why are you looking at him like that, Reno?]

O-oh, yeah... there's... meat or something in the kitchen. They're cookin' it now.

[You really don't want to know.]

Good. I could do with something to put my teeth into. [Giving you lots of ideas, Reno? This Nord eats a lot.]

[The palms of both hands slam into his forehead and slowly pull down along his face. Reno's mind is really in the gutter and where the hell is Elena when you need her...]

Yeah just... hang around for a bit, they'll bring the food out...

[Why are you acting this way, Reno?]

Good. I could eat a hearty meal right now.

[He can't help it. Reno just bursts out laughing for no apparent reason...]
