Summary: A party/discussion mingle after calling a meeting of the residents.

The anonymous post on the network was an invitation to gather, discuss and share information. Maybe they would get incredibly lucky and get to the bottom of things, such as who was behind the bombings or the strange things that went on during Quarantine.

Someone has been at work down here in the dining hall, moving the tables around to create a space in the middle in case people felt like dancing. Most of the chairs are around the outside and facing the middle, for everyone to see each other better. There was another space and some chairs for musicians, and a couple of the larger tables were set up with a large buffet of normal cafeteria food (because Zo wasn't likely to poison them) and resident prepared dishes, both clearly marked.

Of course, there was always the oatmeal.

[Oops. She had jumped to the wrong conclusion. Annika draws her arms back to herself and turns about properly, looking apologetic.]

I'm conjuring food for the party.

[And she indicated as much by gesturing to the successfully-conjured plates of mana strudel on the table behind her. They were warm! And flakey! And smelled nice!]

[They do smell very nice, especially to Veronica's heightened senses. She really had to keep remembering that magic was real here.]

Conjuring food. Cool. Sounds really useful.

It can be! It's helpful when you haven't got anything else to munch on. Or if you want to save the proper food for another time...

Yes! Of course! Help yourself! That's what they're there for!

[When Veronica eats one, it'll taste as good as it smells, nice and flaky and warm... although the fruit filling is not any sort of fruit that she's ever tasted. It's sweet, and it's... fruit-like. A general concept of fruit. It's red, at least.]

[She snatches one up and chows down. Her eyes widen at the taste of something she's never really tasted before.]
