The anonymous post on the network was an invitation to gather, discuss and share information. Maybe they would get incredibly lucky and get to the bottom of things, such as who was behind the bombings or the strange things that went on during Quarantine.

Someone has been at work down here in the dining hall, moving the tables around to create a space in the middle in case people felt like dancing. Most of the chairs are around the outside and facing the middle, for everyone to see each other better. There was another space and some chairs for musicians, and a couple of the larger tables were set up with a large buffet of normal cafeteria food (because Zo wasn't likely to poison them) and resident prepared dishes, both clearly marked.

Of course, there was always the oatmeal.

Romeo is listening really carefully, and willing to share what he knows. He might not know a whole lot of specific information but he's been here a long time and has lots of friends. He's a good listener too. So he skips from group to group, happy to talk to people or learn more, sometimes asking questions if he has them.

[Rei looks down at the little kid scooting up to her.]

...It's really interesting, isn't it? What everyone else did back when all the dorms were buried.

It is miss! Were you stuck in a room? [He grins at her]

Nope. But I had a job to do, so I wasn't really clearing rubble.

What job were you doing miss?

Watching the collar fluid. Studying it is really important since it might give us our powers back for real!

It is really important! You must be really clever miss!

[terreifying]

Mm, thank you. It wasn't too hard. I just needed to think about it when nobody else did. Though...nobody else did come...

I think they were all really busy moving rubble! But it was good that you remembered!

[terreifying]

Yeah, but it got a bit boring.

Did it miss? Did you not learn anything?

[terreifying]

Nope, because there was only one scientist guy helping me watch the stuff.

Well now we are all out the rooms more people can help! I can help if you like miss but I don't know much science!

[terreifying]

[She chuckles and pats him on the head.]

[He wriggles away a bit, he's not a kid!] It's okay miss! I like helping people!

That's really nice.

[There's something wistful in her tone. Hearing someone talk like that reminds her of Shinji.]

I'm sure there's something you can find that lets you help people.

I try and help all the time. I'm learning to fight so I can help protect people from monsters!

[terreifying]

Learning to fight? I can help with that!

[He grinned] Do you know how to use knives miss? That's what I can use!

I'm more of a bare hands sort of girl. I've got a good friend who uses knives, though!

"Fighting with bare hands is important miss!" Especially if monsters got your weapons! "Who is your friend? Is he here?"

It's a she and I think yeah, she is. Her name is Nesir.

"I haven't met her, miss!" He smiled, "Do you fight together? It's important to work together!"

Sometimes. Whenever I run into her. We go after monsters together.

I bet you get lots of monsters and help keep lots of people safe!
