Summary: A party/discussion mingle after calling a meeting of the residents.

The anonymous post on the network was an invitation to gather, discuss and share information. Maybe they would get incredibly lucky and get to the bottom of things, such as who was behind the bombings or the strange things that went on during Quarantine.

Someone has been at work down here in the dining hall, moving the tables around to create a space in the middle in case people felt like dancing. Most of the chairs are around the outside and facing the middle, for everyone to see each other better. There was another space and some chairs for musicians, and a couple of the larger tables were set up with a large buffet of normal cafeteria food (because Zo wasn't likely to poison them) and resident prepared dishes, both clearly marked.

Of course, there was always the oatmeal.

Why don't you give it a name?

[Diarmuid's thoughts travel back to Tohko who had done that very thing to hers.]

I mean, there is really no way for us to find out if it has some kind of name or designation of its own. They don't communicate with us. Why not give it one yourself?

*Enoch thinks for a moment before looking back to see if he could even see his stalker in the crowd. No luck. Oh well, so he can't call him by his new nickname to his face.*

..."Sharar".

[Diarmuid repeats the name as it is unfamiliar to him.]

An interesting name. May I ask why you picked that?

It means "enemy". I'd thought of something a little more...insulting, at first, but... *He shrugs in place of further clarification. He'd prefer straightforward labels over insults. Especially since this hasn't even been the worst of his worries.*

Enemy? I would say that is pretty accurate. Sometimes the straightforward answer is the best one.

[Diarmuid falls silent for a moment and then adds.]

It's kind of a shame the word means enemy. It seems too pretty for that.

It's quite easy to say harshly, though.

*...Though Enoch's voice was itself not harsh at all. Of course it would come out nicer-sounding when he said it, with his soft consonants.*

True, I'm sure it is.

[Diarmuid laughs softly.]

And it's a silly thing to comment on really. Especially when I don't know much about the language of your world. For all I know, that is harsh.
