The anonymous post on the network was an invitation to gather, discuss and share information. Maybe they would get incredibly lucky and get to the bottom of things, such as who was behind the bombings or the strange things that went on during Quarantine.

Someone has been at work down here in the dining hall, moving the tables around to create a space in the middle in case people felt like dancing. Most of the chairs are around the outside and facing the middle, for everyone to see each other better. There was another space and some chairs for musicians, and a couple of the larger tables were set up with a large buffet of normal cafeteria food (because Zo wasn't likely to poison them) and resident prepared dishes, both clearly marked.

Of course, there was always the oatmeal.

[Diarmuid laughs.]

However, a little distraction from all of this would certainly be welcome. I think I've thought through all I can right now. I'm going to start over-thinking things soon.

[Diarmuid smiles sheepishly.]

Yes, I suppose I did, didn't I? However, that might change if we keep talking of it. Lets focus on having fun now, shall we?

[He pulls Diarmuid onto the dance floor and starts to do a little jig.]

[Diarmuid lets himself be pulled onto the floor, but doesn't start dancing right away. Instead, he finds himself watching his brother and trying to figure out what he's doing.]

Is that...really a dance?

It was back in my time. Pretty popular in Scathach's place. Well, popular when we had the time.

[And that meant one dance. During one celebration.]

I am surprised you had time...

[Diarmuid shrugs.]

Can you show me again a little slower?

[puppy_lancer]

Sure thing.

[He does at Diarmuid says and slows down his steps.]

All right...

[Diarmuid is still not sure this is exactly a dance, but he gives it a try anyway getting about halfway through before he loses his place and mutters under his breath.]

Show me again, please?

[puppy_lancer]

[He does the dance again, slow, from beginning to end.]

Hey, you got half on the first try. Better than me, at least.

The first half is the easy part...

[Diarmuid laughs softly, trying and failing to follow his brother's steps.]

I start having more issues after that.

[puppy_lancer]

Then you should be glad about having a patient brother. And a patient teacher. Just think of this all as halves. Try getting the first half of the second half right?

I know. I just...gah...

[Diarmuid sighs as he gets near the end, but still manages to mess up.]

So close...

Come on, Bro. You can hold my hand and mirror my steps.

[Lancer demonstrates the dance yet again.]

[To his credit, Diarmuid tries, but it seems holding his brother's hand does more to unbalance him than it does to help. Eventually, he has to let go before he trips.]

I swear... It is probably best if I try once more on my own.

[puppy_lancer]

[He chuckles.]

Go ahead, Bro. And if you can't get it, I'll show you some other dance.

Sorry...

[Diarmuid takes a deep breath to refocus himself before giving the steps one last try. This time, he manages to get though it all even if it is a little sloppy at the end.]

There! Finally!

[puppy_lancer]

[He laughs, claps his brother on the back, and even gives him a big hug.]

You finally got it, Bro! I'm proud of ya!

It only took forever.

[Diarmuid laughs.]

I suppose I can't be super talented at everything.

[puppy_lancer]

You're talented with the good stuff. That's what counts. And you're talented at being a big brother!

[Diarmuid shakes his head.]

You are too kind, but thank you. Why don't we give this dance a try together now, shall we?
