Characters: Anyone and everyone
Setting: Cafeteria, Noon, Nov 7th
Format: Anything
Summary: A party/discussion mingle after calling a meeting of the residents.
Warnings: tba

The anonymous post on the network was an invitation to gather, discuss and share information. Maybe they would get incredibly lucky and get to the bottom of things, such as who was behind the bombings or the strange things that went on during Quarantine.

Someone has been at work down here in the dining hall, moving the tables around to create a space in the middle in case people felt like dancing. Most of the chairs are around the outside and facing the middle, for everyone to see each other better. There was another space and some chairs for musicians, and a couple of the larger tables were set up with a large buffet of normal cafeteria food (because Zo wasn't likely to poison them) and resident prepared dishes, both clearly marked.

Of course, there was always the oatmeal.

He knew. It was part of his experiment that month.

Then that makes it all the worse. Was the cold the only part of his experiment, or was there more?

It was meant to facilitate the experiment...he was testing some sort of illness. I don't even bother trying to understand why he calls these "experiments" anymore; they only differ from Ruana's games in that they have no goal for us.

Testing an illness? Do you know if, perhaps, this had something to do with bio-warfare? Or maybe the glamour...

"Bio-warfare"? *The term sounded vaguely familiar, as if he'd read about it briefly somewhere. He shakes his head.*

I don't know. All I know is that it seemed like any ordinary cold-influenced illness, but then strange things began happening to the afflicted. I found myself suspecting everyone around me of conspiring with Ruana, and others saw things that were not there.

So the illness was capable of affecting both the mind and the body... that's terrifying. Did it become deadly at any point?

I don't know if anyone died from the illness itself. But many of us...could have become dangerous, and we were more susceptible to the tower's dangers while we were ill.

That is curious. So it was more mental than physical? Perhaps it was just intended to weaken, not to finish off...

Considering it was an experiment there was something he wished to observe...I wish I knew what.

*Knowing why wouldn't make it okay, of course. But it might help.*
