[dated from 4/16 on] // ja, ich bin viel stärker, als ich je gedacht hab
Characters: Waver and/or anyone; this is meant to cover throughout the week starting from the 16th, and I'll add in prompts if any are needed!
Setting: Hidden floor: one prompt for Waver specifically and another for talking amongst your fellow potential infiltrators.
Format: Any
Summary: Waver has information to share and the populace has tactical espionage action to plan; this is also meant as an overall information-sharing/strategic planning mingle so have at it!
Warnings: Nothing yet.
[A short and simple post was left on the network, the person that wrote it not having stayed long enough to answer any responses:]
I have an important document of sorts to share with anyone interested. For the foreseeable future, I can be found in the one location secure enough to not have anything overheard.
Of only slightly less urgent importance, I also need to speak with anyone else that was involved in recharging this place's energy.
-Waver Velvet
P.S. If your name is Sephiroth, expect to be forcibly thrown out.
[As soon as he'd punctuated the last sentence, Waver left and headed directly to the hidden floor. That was sure to be straightforward enough; he just hoped it wouldn't draw the wrong sort of attention.]

who wants to talk infodumps
[(Apparently he did; on some very rare occasions at ungodly hours the lecturer might have been asleep in a chair.)]
[At nearly all times, a girl made of silver liquid dressed in red and gold stood by the teleporter like a quiet and polite sentry. It almost seemed as though she was there to enforce his ban on all things Sephiroth, although she didn't look strong enough to do anything...]

Waver-san? I saw your post on the network. You wanted to talk to the ones who volunteered back in January?

[He looked up from what he'd been working on, frowning as he looked to Yukiko.]

Who wants to talk about taking care of yourself for once... :-P
...and he is just a little annoyed that Waver hasn't come to him right away to ask for help. He knows that he has a lot going on with Grainne in the Tower and Rick having died, but still....partners don't let that kind of thing stop them from helping each other. One of these days Diarmuid will get that through Waver's head. It's the least he can do after all the time Waver spent knocking the same thing into his head.
When he enters the hidden floor, plate of food in one hand, he isn't surprised at the scene that meets his gaze. Diarmuid nods to the maid standing guard and then walks over to where Waver is sleeping on the desk. Well...at least one human need is being taken care of. Lets see about the other.
The plate is set on the desk next to Waver and then Diarmuid leans down to whisper in the magus' ear.]
You know she looks a lot like you. You never told me you had a daughter...
priorities.
What--?
[Startled, his pen jerked across the paper before Waver was able to focus properly and comprehend what was being said. Frowning, he discarded the copy he had been working on and started another.]

Right, yes. Let me not waste time; I feel as though we should all be aware our attempts at being helpful may not have been what we hoped.

Hey. [She pauses] You said wanted to talk to people about something? And... about what happened in January?
[As brief as the message was, and the current location of the information-passing makes her think this is rather serious, and not in a good way.]

When he departs from the teleporter, though, he stops for a few moments to stop at the maid. Odd, but she doesn't look too threatening. After taking a two seconds to look her over, he continues on his way, a small frown on his face as he draws near.]

That note about those who had volunteered to re-energize the place has her worried, and it shows when she steps off the teleporter, nearly colliding with the silver woman.]
Oh! Sorry!
[Receiving no response, Sheena guesses she's a guard or knight of some kind and raises her voice slightly to get attention.]

[So it is, David comes floating into the hideout, flight system active. He doesn't speak up right away—rather, he takes note of the ... maid? Is this another Tower resident?]
[... Well, if Waver's got a bodyguard, it pays to be polite. So, David gives the maid a raised hand in greeting.]
Heyas, uh—just goin' to see Waver.
[He'll wait for a moment or two to see if the maid responds to his presence. If not, well ... he'll head on in and look Lord El-Melloi II.]

She strides past the maid, paying her no mind. Her stride and the way she carries herself are that of calm confidence, and once she draws close to Waver - assuming that this is him, anyway, as he's the only busy-looking person on the floor she sees - she clears her throat.]

The moment, he spots Waver, he approaches, his eyes speaking all his worry for him.*
What did you find?
*He already knows it can't be good news. Already worried due to the silence from the request box and menu alike, he'd gone to Aria with a warning and a confession a little over a week ago.*

Good evening, Waver. So, what's all this about?
[He may have a pleasant tone, but he still gets straight to the point.]

TARDIES IN LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER hello figure this like the third day or sommin
[AKA, hi, Waver, how's the family, I was disappeared last week but w/e doesn't matter let's go.]
Give me one of those copies and a pen.
[Because that's clearly the best way to get the information without having to ask the same questions Waver's probably heard a bunch of times already.
Plus Asch has way neater handwriting.]
it's fine i'm slower than christmas lately

[This is not a solo sneaking mission, but bringing cardboard boxes couldn't hurt.]
17th/18th
The telltale sign that something is wrong - at least for those who know her well though others can probably tell too, given the circumstances, is the fact that she's pulled her hood up and over her head, hiding her face from view. And between any conversations, mealtimes, and other duties she has, Xion will place herself in one of the more isolated batches of chairs, curled up and not really looking at anything.
The fact that she was wrong again about taking a particular action has hit her hard, especially since the consequences could be so dire this time. Her talk with Waver had helped diffuse some of the immediate panic, but there's no denying that a lot of her overall self-confidence has been severely undermined, a situation exacerbated by the looming deadline, the very real possibility of true death, or being brought back in entirely under admin control. And what she might have to give up to keep that from happening.]
