Characters: Yosuke Hanamura and YOU! Yes, YOU!
Setting: Room 2-14 and Floor 14
Format: Action is vastly preferred, but I'll prose if you want. Just be warned - prose tags take me a lot longer.
Summary: Yosuke arrives! Derping ensues.
Warnings: Swearing!

Room 2-14

[Yosuke's never been quick to wake up - unless it's someone waking him up in the middle of class. Laying in bed an extra few minutes is normal. What's not normal is the bed, the room, or anything about this place. And then panic ensues! What we end up with is one Yosuke trying his best to keep calm as he takes in these strange surroundings in a slight panic]

What the hell?! Who's idea of a joke is this!

Floor 14

[Yosuke - now dressed in his usual threads, headphones around his neck, has found his way to the entertainment room. He doesn't feel particularly jolly though, and rather than enjoy the entertainment he's sprawled on a couch, looking up and contemplating the last few hours of his life]

[Don't mind Yosuke, he's only having a mild panic attack at the strange surroundings. Hearing someone else he turns to the door, unsure of whether to be wary or relieved]

Hi, I'm Yosuke, now what the hell is going on here?!

[She's going to give him a kind warm smile, hoping to perhaps make him just a little less freaked out.]

You're at the Tower! It's kind of a sudden adjustment, I know. But you'll be living here from now on.

[She'll save the bigger details for later. He needed to calm down, first.]

I'm Minako. It's very nice to meet you, Yosuke!

[Okay, calm down. Just calm the hell down for a second. Yes, you're in a strange place with no idea what's going on, but that's no reason to freak out on a cute girl]

[... okay so that's plenty reason, but still!]

[So a few deep breaths later he's ready to talk]

Alright. Okay.

So, Minako. How the hell did I wind up in a tower?

I'm not too sure of the details myself! Uhmmm, do you have the notes?

[She scans around, and with a small 'ah-ha!', she plucks them off of his bed.]

[A note? Well, it's somewhere to start]

[He takes it in hand and looks it over. It's short, at least. And-]

[The color drains from his face, and the paper falls from his hands. Pure shock - that's the only way to describe it. Yosuke doesn't know how to handle this. At all]

[Eventually he takes a seat on the edge of his bed, still staring off at nothing]

... destroyed?

[Minako quietly sits down next to him, resting a hand on his shoulder in an attempt to provide at least a bit of comfort.

She won't get into the whole 'we hear it might be a trick' deal just yet.]

It's still possible your friends from home will come, though. People show up all the time.

[He doesn't pull away from her, but rests his head in his hands as he tries to exert what little self control he can muster]

So that's it. No more Junes, no Inaba, no Japan... nothing.

[She rubs up and down his back gently, bringing her voice to a soothing level.

SHE IS GOOD AT THIS COMFORTING SHIT MAN IT IS HER FORTE]

Inaba is a very beautiful place-- i visited for a week or so, once. Do you live there, Yosuke?

Call it intuition, but I don't think this'll be the last you'll see of it. We can figure something out, for sure. Nothing's impossible.

[It takes a little bit, but her presence is comforting, even if he can't quite explain why. Before long he's wiping his eyes with the backs of his hands - he wasn't crying, it's just dusty in the tower. Seriously! No lie!]

Yeah... right. I won't get anything done if I freak out. Okay.

[Deep breaths. And then something occurs to him]

You've been to Inaba? My family just moved there a little over a year ago.

[She's patient as usual, continuing to soothe and comfort the distraught boy for as long as it took.
Minako was just that kind of girl.]

That's the spirit! [She smiles at Yosuke, then nods.] Mmhm. I went with my volleyball team for a tournament, and we stayed at this very beautiful Inn.

An inn, huh? I'd bet anything it was the Amagi Inn. You guys picked a good spot.

Actually, our class took a trip over there this year. It was a cool place, even if our teacher botched the hotel arrangements.

Seriously? [She brightens a little more, despite her already cheery disposition.]

[Her face contorts in surprise, placing her fingers over her mouth as she laughed.]

Oh no, your teacher booked you rooms in a love hotel??

[Her laughter is infectious, and it even gets a chuckle out of him]

She's not exactly bright. Or normal. Or sane. Or anything resembling a responsible adult.

But I guess she's technically better than the guy she replaced.

Oh man, King Moron was the worst! Every day he'd lecture us on how we were all filthy disgusting perverts. He'd just go on and on, so I'd fall asleep in his classes nine times out of ten.

Oh goodness, that sound's horrible! My homeroom teacher was mostly just fussy, nothing too worth noting. My history teacher liked to wear a rather large and heavy looking samurai helmet, though.
