[The screeching noise had been terrifying enough. Xion had clung to Shion (since they'd been in the same room that night), who'd clung right back. But when the bed changed - morphed into something else entirely, Xion had scrambled up, a mixture of shock and horror blooming somewhere inside her, until she trips over the edge of the pod and onto the floor. From inside the pod, the film-cat that was - had been - Xion's kitten mewled in protest at being jostled around.]

[They clung to each other after they calmed down (somewhat) from all that - one violet wireframe outline, one orange - but Xion wanted to find her friends. So together they're walking throughout the hallways of the Tower, Xion calling out the names of people she knows, trying to find silhouettes she recognizes, but it's hard.

She'd dropped by her room to grab the sword Link left her. Even if it doesn't look like a sword at the moment, it'll still let them defend themselves, if need be. She hopes.]

[And one wireframe stops, head turned toward the voice, even if it's not his name he's hearing her call. Asch doesn't know the orange frame, doesn't know anyone with an orange collar, but he has a responsibility to that violet, at the end of the day.]

Xion?

[And then, to clarify, because he of course shares a voice with Luke as well - ]

It's Asch.

[She had been calling it earlier, perhaps with less frequency than certain others - Sora and Riku, for example - but still calling it all the same. Hearing her name being called back is a relief. She looks around until her gaze settles on Asch's violet outline.]

Asch?

[The relief in her voice is perhaps more immense than she'd like it to be under normal circumstances, but... She glances back at Shion - Asch has never met him has he? - before tugging him towards Asch.]

C'mon, he's a friend of mine.

[Not mentioning yet that he's training her like Reno had. The topic is still too sensitive.]

[Shion was still in a state of shock, but he was quickly calming. Because everything finally made sense. Realising that their world was nothing but an elaborate illusion should not have been as comforting as it was. Shion had been mostly numbly following Xion around, calling out a few names of his own.

He followed her over to the figure]

[Asch appraises the second figure in an up-and-down glance, although it's hard to tell where he's looking, really.]

And your companion?

[Because yep, they definitely haven't met.]

[A blue-glowing wireframe pauses at one name; a name that, oddly enough, may sound like a pronoun to others. It has an outline of a bus stop sign on its back, and another sword at its waist... Who had both those "weapons" in the first place, anyway-?]

Xion?

[...and that certainly is the frames of what could be glasses on his "face", too. Welp. That likely narrows it down quite a bit.]

[Shion didn't recognise that voice either but turned to the blue figure and nodded his wire hand grabbing Xion's to get her attention] Who are you?

[Yeah, those weapons were pretty distinctive, even if she's only seen him wielding them rarely. Unfortunately, it looked like Shion hadn't had the chance to meet him]

Shion, this is Yu Narukami. He's a friend of mine. [Don't worry. She looked towards Yu again.]

Yu, this is Shion. [A name Yu might recognize from talking with Reno.] I'm... I'm glad you're okay.

[He nods his head. Yeah, he recognizes the name.]

Nice to meet you, Shion. Despite circumstances. [Though it wasn't like he didn't have a hand in this particular failure.] How are you two holding up?

[Sora had been awake for hours, but he didn't want to be. In fact, he had been trying to go back to sleep for a long while. He didn't want to take a good look at what was going on right now, or at himself. His first instinct had been to think that this was some kind of nightmare, and he couldn't help but want to cling to that idea for as long as he could.

So he tossed and turned in the bed...pod...for hours, and he wasn't sure what his roommates made of that but he wasn't quite awake enough to care yet. But he was finally at the point where he had to face the music - it had been too long and everything felt too real.

But...what was all of this? Why did everything look so weird? Thankfully, there was a knock on the door before he had to think too hard about it. The knock is followed by the sound of a familiar voice calling his name, and that's when he really springs into action. He rushes to the door, and though he isn't sure exactly what to do, he knows his little sister is there and he would rather run to try to help her than sit around and do nothing.]

Xion!

[He opens the door as fast as he can, and outside he sees...well, he can't recognize the two people exactly, because they look just as strange as everything else does. But even if he can't see her exactly, one of the shapes looks familiar and he knows that it's Xion.]

[Behind the violet frame, the one doing the knocking, stood an orange one. He didn't know Sora, though he knew a lot about him. He just glanced at Xion though, wire head turning to her in question, was this him?]

[There's two figures, one purple, one orange. It's the purple one that steps lunges forward, pulling Sora into a tight hug. It's only because it's Sora that she's letting herself do this right now, though the tightness of her hug and the reluctance to let go should clue him in to how upset she is right now. Even if she's trying to hide it. However after a few seconds she lets go, reaching back instead to take the hand of the person behind her and lead him forward gently.

She looks back, then forward.]

Shion, this is Sora. Sora, this is Shion. He's one of my best friends.

[derping]

[He hugs her back tightly, and lets her hold on just as long as she wants to. He's not eager to let go, either, but he's paying more attention to what she wants to do than what he wants. For the moment, it's easier to think about helping someone else than it is to think about...well, anything else, really.

When Xion brings him forward and introduces him, Sora smiles at the orange figure...or, at least, it feels like he does, even though no one else could see it.]

Xion's told me about you a couple of times. It's nice to meet you.

[Sure, the name thing is confusing...but given the second Sora and the multitude of Rikus in the tower, not to mention all the other doubles he's run into, he's used to it by now.]

[Xion is definitely not the only looking for other people - it's the only goal on Riku's mind right now, the only thing that keeps him from thinking too much and he is kind of very glad when he catches sight of the right combination of colors, when he hears the right voice to go with that.]

Shion, Xion!

Riku? [That was a voice he knew at least. He raised a hand in greeting, it was hard to remember that they didn't have faces... they couldn't use normal expressions.

Strange to think that was something they had to remember at all.]

Riku!

[Oh thank light there he is. Xion scurries towards Riku, just slow enough that she knows Shion will be able to easily keep up. She stops just short. She wants to throw her arms around him in a hug. But she'd done a lot of that with Shion earlier, and... something holds her back from reaching for more comfort, no matter how much she wants it. She has to be strong right now, right? For her and Shion, and the Tower. This was what they'd done, after all. She wraps her arms around herself instead.]

Y-you're okay right?

[Shion's eyes widened as the bed turned into a pod of purple liquid, he had been mostly asleep and clinging to Xion in fear of what the screeching could mean. He sat up, eyes growing wider at the kitten and then finally letting out a cry as he peered over the pod at what had been, moments ago, Xion.] Xion? What happened? [He clambered out and rushed to her side, what had they done to her?

As he reached out for her he saw his own arms...]

[Xion looks up and... she'd look even more horrified, if she had a face to look it with. Where Shion had been moments ago, there's an wireframe figure, orange to her voilet, and she's half a mind to scramble away when she hears his voice. It's still Shion.

She can't look horrified but she definitely sounds it.]

I- I don't know... The voice said something about glamour failure.

[What did "glamour" mean?]

What does glamour mean? [It sounded... magic... But it seemed to part of the system here, and it had failed... He reached up with his wire hands to feel his non existent face, wire and foil. Was this some kind of experiment?]

[This blue wireframe has similar plans as he stomps through the hall. Even with his features largely obscured by his "new" appearance, his heavy movements and tense posture ought to convey how he feels about this ordeal.

It takes a second or two for him to recognize Xion. Really, it's her voice that clues him in more than anything. The familiarity at least eases some of his tension as he slides to a stop.]

That you, Xion?

[He takes a moment to glance at Shion. Unlike Xion, Riku can't really recognize him. Still, he can't be too bad, right?]

[Given that they're half-clinging to each other? No, probably not. Xion pauses, hesitantly, tilting her head to get a better look at the wireframe figure in front of her. She'd heard his voice but...]

Ri...ku?

[The other one. The younger one. The one that had Kingdom Key like her and Sora, rather than that other one Riku had now. She didn't know him nearly as well, but... that was him right?]

Riku? [Haven't they already ran into Riku? And wait...] You're blue. [The other Riku was green. He glanced at Xion, and back to the new wire frame, trying to assess if it was a threat]

[As luck would have it, there's a tall, violet-glowing wireframe figure heading towards Xion's room just as she's stopping by to pick up that sword.] Xion? Is that you?

[Well. That sure is Terra's voice, and he sounds... worried-ish. More like 'generally concerned'.]

[Shion turned at the voice, he didn't recognise it. Another one of Xion's friends?]

[Xion meanwhile, puts a hand out protectively in front of Shion. She doesn't know Terra quite as well as is... nor would she have expected him to come looking. Consequently she's worried about her ability to recognize him. And just... generally worried. Her nerves are very on-edge right now.]

Terra?

[That's definitely Xion's voice, at least]
