Yotsuba!&..
Characters: Yotsuba Koiwai and you!
Setting: The nineteenth floor on June 19th.
Format: I'm starting in prose, but I'll match you!
Summary: After getting a note from Enoch, Yotsuba decides to search the library for more treasure: information about 'romeance'.
Warnings: None so far!
Yotsuba was always happy to get mail, especially from good friends..but her recent letter inspired her to search the library, since it seemed like it was a huuge beach where seashells and other cool things hid. So, after putting the letter in her pocket, Yotsuba ran down the stairs, careful to avoid any monsters she saw. While she was wearing her sling and sash-pouch, it was still best to avoid any trouble. When she saw the first elevator she found, she pressed the call button and waited, singing to herself to pass the time.
When she finally got onto the elevator, arrived at the meadow, and dashed into the nineteenth floor, her eyes got wide, and she couldn't help but cry out to herself. "There are a lot of gems here! They're really colurful!" Nonfiction books, of course, still looked quite nice, especially to a young child. While Yotsuba was looking for a book to explain 'romentic love', she wasn't the best reader, which resulted in her pulling the first book she found off the shelf and expecting it to have all the answers..when it was just a thin book on psychology.
As Yotsuba tried to read it, her face scrunched up a she tried to make sense of what she was reading. "F..Fruied was..de..deflunked by modern.." After trying to say 'psychologists' and not getting it, Yotsuba glared at the words, as if they were the ones responsible for not having what she was looking for. "That doesn't sound nice!! This isn't a good gem!" Yotsuba closed the book and put it back on the shelf-not in the same spot she had found it in-and kept wandering around, hoping she could find something about what she was looking for.

"The third floor has a library as well." A shocking revelation to Yotsuba, she might have been looking at the wrong section the entire time.
no subject
"Oh! I didn't know! Let's check there too, Lu..Lucifel!"
..Not that she would climb down from him anytime soon. She was expecting him to walk there and take her with him on his shoulders.
no subject
... Is he supposed to carry her around now? From the sound if it she apparently wants him to.
"Alright." Oh well, sometimes it wasn't bad to do things humans did. That and he had no idea what he should do and the last thing he wanted to risk was to make her cry. With his hands having a good hold on her legs the archangel walked to the elevator with Yotsuba.
no subject
While they walked and waited for the elevator, Yotsuba sang to pass the time.
"Tons of gems on the shelf~
Even though there's no beach!~
If we keep on digging!~
We'll find the right one soon!~"
no subject
Speaking of books, there was still one resting against his neck.
"You didn't put the book away."
no subject
"I didn't! It's a library, so we can return it later!"
no subject
If it's any indication. Given that she can understand a hint like that.

"Was it hurting your neck? Yotsuba's sorry! I didn't know!"
no subject
no subject
"Do they have elevators in Heaven?"
no subject
"There aren't. Angels would be surprised to see these. I've seen them before though."
no subject

no subject
"Really?! That's awesome! Will there ever be flying cars?! And will Yotsuba ever have a cow?"
no subject
"Sadly I can't tell Yotsuba so, if I do then it would change the future. It could have horrible consequences, no matter how harmless the topic."
no subject
"But..how come? I promise to not tell anyone!"
..A promise that, while true, couldn't really be trusted. Yotsuba's memory could be rather sketchy sometimes, and promises sometimes flitted from it.
no subject
There wasn't any way he could know about it anyways, since Yotsuba didn't exist in his world. Or in a different way.
"So something that Yotsuba has in the future could change into something else if I told the Yotsuba who's with me now."
no subject
Yotsuba enjoyed almost everything in a normal world. The Tower was a different story though.
"But..couldn't it change into something better?"
no subject
Not that he didn't like standing under an umbrella once and now, but that wasn't the point.
"It could. But the chance of something bad to happen is just as high.
no subject
Yotsuba had an umbrella, raincoat, and rain boots back home, but she was more than happy to just hop in the boots and run around in the rain whenever she felt it.
"Oh..but what bad things could happen by telling Yotsuba about cars and cows?"
no subject
If he knew then he would wonder if Yotsuba would drag him around once it started raining, both equipped with umbrellas.
"Maybe Yotsuba would not get a cow but something else."
no subject
..Yotsuba wouldn't even bother with umbrella's normally, but she would be more than happy to splash around with Lucifel and her friends, getting everyone soaked in the process.
"Oh..like what? Cows are super cool! They can make yummy milk!"
I am a very busy mun... orz
Either way, it would be a very odd thing for him to do, splashing in puddles in the rain. But sometimes it was fun, doing human things that is.
"Goats and Sheep can make milk too. But in addition to that you get wool from sheep too. Or... a lioness." Would she want a scary lion in her living room? Probably not.
It's alright! I'm glad things are a bit less hectic for you now! Welcome back!~ :3
I wish they were. but they aren't. ;~;
Aw..;_; I'm sorry to hear that! Hopefully things'll slow down soon then. ><; <333
I hope so too. I really do.
So do I..
Just one disaster that's followed by the next...
Oh no! ;_: I'm sorry to hear that! ><:
that's life orz
Sometimes..but that doesn't make it any less terrible sometimes. ><;
You tell me. But I'm trying to look at the brighter side. Even if I feel tired.
Hopefully there are a few bright spots to help you along..and you and me both. ><;
We'll survive! ><;
We'll both do our best to!

I'm now picturing Lucifel snapping his fingers and giving himself a bad hair day. xD;
Yeah, it would be like that. XD
And then him trying to make it better, only for it to come out worse..
Priceless. XD
That mental image really is wonderful! xD;
Ain't it?
It is..and it'll probably turn into the smallest snippet of a story later, knowing me. ^^;
Ehehehe X3
