Characters: Enoch never intended it but, everyone who's up for drinking!
Setting: Cafeteria, throughout the day (sorry team indigo)
Format: Party, do what you want!
Summary: With Riki being generous with the food again, Enoch decides to see, first, if he can still get drunk at all, and second, if being drunk will help keep his new headmate quiet. A (not-so-) surprising amount of people are likely to be interested in drinking with him.
Warnings: Drunken shenanigans. Possible angst because he might actually talk about Eleven under the influence. Might also talk about gory details of the meeting with Ruana. Did I say drunken shenanigans? I think I need to say that again.

*Much like just before the glamour failure, Enoch sits with several bottles of red wine from the kitchen stock. Unlike then, he has no extra glasses out to share with. He is not drinking to a plunge into the unknown. He is drinking to drown things. Mostly, the voice screaming in his head.

But nothing really changes the fact that any modern wine is of much higher quality than anything his time could produce, and he's savoring its flavor too, in long sips. It's almost a distraction, itself.

Speaking of distractions, he certainly won't object to any company, and if it turns into a larger gathering he may get so caught up in it he'll forget how much he's had.

And so might you. Care to grab a drink for yourself? He won't mind if you ask for some of the wine he has.*

((ooc: Of course you can approach Enoch like any other log, but due to interest expressed this is actually more of a mingle! Start games and contests if you'd like or just hang out and have your characters get drunk or bodyguard or spectate. Please identify new games and contests in the header to make it clearer to people scrolling through! Naturally there can be several threads of the same game, considering this isn't organized at all.

[A bitter laugh escaped the hood, and he turned a little to glance at Aleph.]

Terrible is kinda an understatement.

Fine, it's the worst place I've ever been. Less complaining and more drinking is usually a good idea.

[Aleph shrugs and sips his drink.]

[And Reno takes a giant gulp.]

I'm startin' to wonder how people can still party here, after everything that's happened.

Depressed people never changed anything, at least in my world. You have to keep your spirits up and sometimes that means randomly partying.

Easier said.[This was said in a grim tone, but softly.]

It's not easy, but it's not impossible.

[He downed the rest of the beer in one motion, then set the can on the table beside him.]

You have anyone you really care about here?

I have a wife, as of last month.

[There's a sparkle in his eyes that says the joy of saying that he's married is far, far from over.]

[Reno flopped back in his seat, his hands shaking a bit and feeling like he had been punched. It only lasted a moment before he steadied himself, though.]

...Congratulations.

[Aleph thought he noticed something off, but why would anyone be upset at someone being married?]

Thank you. Even with everything going on, I still feel like a lucky man.

Yeah, but what will you do when she disappears tomorrow and never comes back?

[It was a good question, because Reno hadn't figured out the answer yet.]

...Probably the same thing I'd do if we got out of here and had to go to our separate worlds.

[He doesn't actually know either.]

I mean, do ya start over? Or wait until she comes back, even if she never does?

[This hypothetical question wasn't hypothetical at all, it sounded more like he was asking for advice.]

You're asking things I don't know the right answer to, or if there even is one. I guess you grieve until your heart tells you it's okay to go on.

[Grieve. Like she was dead. Something he didn't want to think about, either...]
