[Massive Infiltration Plot] || [Semi-Open]

Setting: The Cafeteria, then the Elevator's Shaft and finally the Administrative Floors. The 29th of July, in the morning.
Format: Action most likely.

Summary: A month ago Ganondorf planned an infiltration to go and pay a visit to Riki's floor-- Given what has happened these last weeks, the 'Evil Alliance' has accepted to allow Enoch and the people he gathered to use the infiltration in order to do their own thing. Namely, retrieve scientific instruments from Jason's laboratory, so as to study the Collar Fluid. The infiltration will begin on the 1st floor, the Cafeteria.

The first thread is a traditional mingle thread, happening before the infiltration and briefing begin; anyone can tag into it. The second thread is a quick briefing before the infiltration starts, where Enoch and Ganondorf will explain to everyone what to do and what to expect in case they don't already know. Then there are the seven group threads, one for each individual team infiltrating.

Warnings: Administrative floors, danger, death, horror. Anyone tagging here is probably going to die, or at the very least meet with a terrible fate.

[ With the Darknut Sword in hand, Ganondorf moved to the doors and looked down into the Elevator Shaft, before rising and floating above the ground. He would soon go inside the elevator shaft, given his powers don't get deactivated, to take a better look at what awaited them below. ]

Reaching Riki's area will probably take some time and the distraction will not last forever, we have no time to waste.

[ As far as he was concerned, they should all be ready by now. At least those in his group should, the others didn't matter to him. ]

[The cables go down some ways--but somewhere below the cafeteria level they hook into the wall and stop. There are strange devices that seem built to decouple an elevator from its cables--this is where the switchover from residential functions to administrative functions occurs for this elevator shaft, and it will require crossing this cable-less gap.]

[After taking a careful look within the elevator shaft himself Sephiroth will stand back from the group a little in order to get the room to fully manifest and stretch out a large black-feathered wing from one of his shoulders. Then folds the same back into his body enough that he can leap up, telekinetically aided, into the shaft itself. Taking a cursory glance upwards as well just in case the elevator many floors above them would decide to come back towards them.

He will remain there, hovering in mid-air for the time being while the rest of the team decide how they are going to descend. Not openly offering to carry anyone but really it would be quicker if they all flew down. Provided powers were not disabled on the way it would prove the more logical route.]

[Being carried down the cables is not exactly Ocelot's idea of a perfect way to sneak through to the administrative levels. It's a long, long way down, and though she's strong, she doesn't have as much upper body strength as she used to.]

This is suicide.

[She sounds more amused than anything else, though.]

That's nothing new.

[Jin stood next to Ocelot, temtatively grabbing at one of the cables that would-- take them part of the way down at least. Unfortunately for him, he'd never been blessed with upper or lower body strength. He'd gotten a bit better than he was back home, bt. Still, a functioning body was never something he'd had the luxury of.

He looked down the shaft and let out a breath of exasperation.]

You've gotta be kiddin' me. Don't non superhumans get an exemption? Not that I'm excited to jump into their elevator.

[ Ganondorf moved to the side to leave Sephiroth enough space to enter the shaft, and smiled at Ocelot's comment. Well, at least they knew what they were going for.

However, it took some willpower not to roll his eyes at Jin's complaints. No superhuman skills? Excuse you. He needed his skills with computers and hacking, especially since they were going for Riki's area, but he certainly did not need to hear his complaints, let alone bear with them. Neither did he feel like coping with a slow and sad attempt to use the cable, especially when they obviously wouldn't help in the long-term.

And lo, all of sudden a certain King of Evil floating nearby would try to grab Jin by the arm in order to drag him entirely inside the elevator shaft. Would this be to work, next thing Jin would know, he would be ~flying~! A flight entirely dependent on Ganon Airlines Ganondorf not deciding to let go of him mid-way, but a flight anyway.

As a matter of fact, in case of success Ganondorf would immediately head for the cable-less gap. Did he mention he hated wasting time? ]

[Once Ganondorf/Jin pass down from the open doors to the Cafeteria Sephiroth wills himself down a little and towards the opening. Just as he thought, he's just going to have to swallow that over-sized pride of his and lower himself into carrying one of the more human of types. For the sake of the time that they don't have to complete the descent.

Just chalk it up to another of those sacrifices, one of those allowances he's had to let slide in this place. He doesn't much like the idea of carrying anyone-]

Ocelot.

[-at least she's more tolerable than most, and for sure mature enough not to make this any more uncomfortable than it needs to be for the both of them. He summons from just inside of the elevator shaft, thinking her intelligent enough to just know what he's suggesting, having to go ahead and ask would make this whole idea ten times more degrading.]

[Veigar followed behind, every so often looking back to make sure no surprises were creeping up on them. Sure, it was the beginning of their mission, but considering who they were dealing with, they could not take any chances.

Once he was sure that nothing would get, at least him, he dropped down. Not bothering to even hold on, once he was at the area he had to move into he blinked out of sight and back again at their destination past the cableless area... unless of course the joke was on him and the plan failed.]

[Being carried like some sort of maiden in distress is not her idea of a glamorous way to enter the administrative levels. But she obliges, stepping towards Sephiroth, nodding rather severely.

She doesn't say anything to acknowledge that she knows what he's asking, though. The distaste shows on her face.]

Wha--?!

[To be fair, most of his bitching was a formality. What he didn't expect however, was to suddenly be grabbed by their oh-so-gracious leader and start flying down the damn shaft.

It was probably easier and shorter in the long run, but that didn't prevent him from letting out a yell in surprise on the sudden flight plan.]

You know, you could've just asked!

[Whatever, at least he wasn't fighting it.]

[ Ganondorf is so nice, it hurts. At least Jin will have the privilege to have used Ganondorf as his personal airplane.

Much like Veigar, Ganon goes straight for his destination without a second interruption. Or rather, he's going to try to at least. ]

[Veigar will find his teleportation cut short--he reappears just below a ring of red lights and begins to plummet, all of his superhuman abilities disabled.

The rest of the group, as they travel down, will eventually reach the same ring of red light, though it will take a bit of time--the place they started from has disappeared from view entirely.]

[Without another word to even ask permission, as soon as Ocelot is close enough Sephiroth pretty much pulls her into that so-cliche position. How else was he supposed to carry her after all; shoulder armor makes a different type of lift impractical.]

Hold on. [Is the only warning she gets, to either hold on around a pauldron or to dare to wrap hands around the back of his neck, before Sephiroth heads back into the elevator shaft and gradually begins his descent after Ganon and Veigar.]

[It's fortunate that she's around allies, or at leas around people that wouldn't mock her for being held like a young girl. She grabs at a pauldron, not exactly wanting to take the initiative to clinging to a man.]

[ Ganondorf frowned upon seeing the red ring of light. He had no idea what this was, maybe a security system? But this didn't matter, risks were to be expected and they couldn't go back now that they had gone that far.

Still holding Jin, Ganondorf would go through the ring of red light using his flight ability. Without asking his opinion to his passenger, this goes without saying. ]

[As soon as they pass the ring of light, all superhuman powers are disabled.]

[Jin admittedly had no idea what the red ring of light was exactly-- but it was clearly not anything good.]

Are you fucking insane--?!

[Which made it pertinently clear when they had passed through, and even if Jin wasn't particularly avian-inclined, it was easy to tell that they weren't flying under Ganondorf's power anymore. Before he had had a chance to protest.

[Ring of red light. Sephiroth's not so blinded by desperation to get down the lift shaft that he's about to go barreling through that without waiting, hovering and seeing what happens to Ganondorf/Jin first.

Well - that explained what happened to Veigar before them well enough. Shifting Ocelot's weight a little, without spending too long even looking at her, Sephiroth peers around in the gloom. As if there might be another option, free-falling not being his idea of fun.]

Well this is inconvenient.

[Well. Great. She frowns deeply. How far down is it? She doesn't want to be injured and on her way to the administrative levels. There's no way that that will go well.]

Drop me. I'll be fine.

[Even if she's not 100% sure, her confidence still shows through her tone. If she's really unlucky, Ganondorf will break her fall.

And a moment later, she's falling in the air.]

[ ... Welp, that was not as planned. He had expected the powers to be cut sooner or later, but he had been betting on later. He scowled at this turn of event and quickly tried to think of something to do-- And what to do was quite obvious as he straightened his hold over the Darknut Sword.

He sighed as Jin spoke, though. ]

Oh, maybe you would have preferred for us to wait, needlessly observing the situation and letting the anxiety build inside of us, only to eventually run back to our dorms?

[ Could you feel the sarcasm? Even when on the brink of death, he could be an asshole. While he spoke however, Ganondorf tried to redirect them toward the closest wall. ]

Hold on tightly!

[ Ganondorf smashed with all his strength the massive sword against the wall-- He didn't expect this to stop their descent, but at least slow it down. He would simultaneously also try to push against the wall with one of his foot, covered with armored boots (albeit made of film), to try and gain more stability.

He wouldn't be able to focus on breaking Ocelot or Sephiroth's fall however, that much they could only rely on Jin if that was necessary. ]

[Sparks fly as Ganondorf's descent slows. The blade's edge is quickly ruined, but by the time the next section of cable appears, while they're still falling quite quickly, it shouldn't be out of the realm of possibility to grab hold.]

What th-- Aaaaaahhhhhhhaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

[As Veigar falls rapidly, the Yordle bellows a string of curses as he flails, looking through his bag of tricks.

He should have figured something like this would happen. After all, the Administrators where nothing but pathetic cowards who wouldn't dare to challenge his true might!!

Alas, he wasn't all myth, magic and legend! The Yordle was a mastermind! Albeit a bit of an eccentric one... okay, insane more like it, but still! After a few seconds of digging, the yordle pulled out a familiar device. Familiar to his roommates who kept taking it without permission! But familiar nontheless... After a few moments and a press of buttons and small levers, somethings popped out from the device and became much larger!

Behold!!!!

Balloons.... yes, balloons that were now slowing down the decent of the Yordle. All those times he complained about people touching his balloons and he finally gets to use them! They called him insane! The jokes on them!

Unless of course these balloons were to pop too...]

[His descent is stopped by the balloon--he should have no trouble floating down and grabbing hold of the cables beneath the gap, once he's within reach of them.]

[The balloons are a mighty success! He shall reach the cables and relish in this unique victory by way of inflatable object. This time however, he will wait for his allies....
