[Massive Infiltration Plot] || [Semi-Open]

Setting: The Cafeteria, then the Elevator's Shaft and finally the Administrative Floors. The 29th of July, in the morning.
Format: Action most likely.

Summary: A month ago Ganondorf planned an infiltration to go and pay a visit to Riki's floor-- Given what has happened these last weeks, the 'Evil Alliance' has accepted to allow Enoch and the people he gathered to use the infiltration in order to do their own thing. Namely, retrieve scientific instruments from Jason's laboratory, so as to study the Collar Fluid. The infiltration will begin on the 1st floor, the Cafeteria.

The first thread is a traditional mingle thread, happening before the infiltration and briefing begin; anyone can tag into it. The second thread is a quick briefing before the infiltration starts, where Enoch and Ganondorf will explain to everyone what to do and what to expect in case they don't already know. Then there are the seven group threads, one for each individual team infiltrating.

The OOC post is here for more information. If you have signed-up but didn't pick a group yet, please do so here. While the infiltration takes place, the villains who stayed behind are unleashing a distraction on the tower and those who don't go.

Warnings: Administrative floors, danger, death, horror. Anyone tagging here is probably going to die, or at the very least meet with a terrible fate.

[The last thing a passing stranger will see of the man is his quickly reddening face, before he does his best to disappear into the crowd and find a quiet corner to hide in. He was even starting to feel like he knew a good number of people in the Tower...all the unfamiliar individuals surrounding him made sure to kick that notion out of his brain.]

[When he reaches his (relatively) tranquil sanctuary at the far end of the food line, Rick keeps an eye out for anyone he might know, replying to any passing glances in his direction with an embarrassed smile.]

[Zett is already in demon form, so as not to waste any time when they start going down the elevator.

Nesir looked around. This was no stealth mission. There were a lot of people going down this time.

Perhaps that would be best. There were more groups than administrators, and hopefully that meant at least one group would get through. She stood near the side lines watching, taking in everyone who were there, and running through what she knew about the plan.

She was wearing the white suit everyone woke up in, and a cloak around it, daggers at a makeshift belt, poisons hidden in secret pockets of the cloak. She was as ready as she could be.

[ Even though Ganondorf was behind the infiltration and had organized the technicalities, he had not expected Enoch to bring... That many people. If only they all knew what awaited them in Jason's floor. The most amusing part to him however, was to see in this room some of the people that despised him, taking apart in this infiltration. Oh, the irony.

He was wielding a quite large sword that some may recognize as a Darknut's sword. There was a reason as to why he was not wielding one of his own sword: those were made of the film. Weapon retrieved on monsters however, were real enough. There was a rather large bag at his feet, seemingly containing more weapons he retrieved from monsters he slaughtered last night.

Depending on the time, Ganondorf would either just stand next to the elevator and observe the people coming in. After a while, he would be seen working at tricking open the elevator's door, probably working with other villains. ]

Veigar had been preparing for this ever since Ganondorf had set out the plan. As such, his equipment had undergone some upgrades and he had brought along a few of the thing he had been working on ever since arriving here. But most of all, even in this relaxed state, the dangerous aura that usually hung over the Yordle was more intense than ever before.

He wouldn't accept failure for this mission... that much was clear.

[Shepard's in her armor already, to avoid wasting time just changing into it. She's also checking the small thermal clip supply she's brought with her, and just making sure everything's in order as a whole. Film it may be, it's still what she's used to, and besides... One miss in preparation can be costly.

She does glance up now and then, though, mainly to keep track of where people are, and when the elevator doors open. People she knew to some extent got a small nod; anyone else would get a momentary stare, while she committed the faces of the people she's working with to memory.

Bother her? She won't bite, honest.]

[ Doc, wearing an aged white scientist coat, was quite obviously not taking part in the infiltration. But as one of the two scientists who had asked Enoch and Rick to find the instruments necessary to study the collar fluid, he had decided to come. In case someone needed an explanation or a description of what exactly they needed to retrieve from Jason's floor, he could provide it.

Doc had brought with him some glamour instruments from the Laboratory Floor, such as a microscope, test tubes, a distiller-- They were all on display on a table for anyone to see. Since he obviously couldn't bring much on his own, alongside the instruments were some quick drawing of the larger and more complicated science instruments they may need too, as well as the names of useful chemical products, would they miraculously be to find that much. ]

[She'd had trouble sleeping the night before. As much as she knows that it's necessary to go down there, the thought of returning to Jason's laboratory leaves her feeling uneasy and out-of-sorts. Her thoughts had been full of retrieval units with hammers last night, and the mental image is still there, lurking in the back of her mind - if she's being honest.

But the knot in her stomach starts to ease once she sees how many people are going this time. There had been a lot of people in February, too, but they'd all gone their separate ways once they were down there. And there would probably be some splitting now as well... but there were so many of them.

She scans the crowd for people she recognizes, but she isn't opposed to making smalltalk with anyone who might want it before they get started in earnest. Differences of opinion or no, for the moment, they're all on the same side.]

[Sephiroth remains still and silent, for the most part, studying the others thoughtfully, sizing them up, looking upward, as he's smaller than most of the people here. He believes himself ready for the mission. He knows how dangerous it will be, but he is prepared to die, if necessary. He is somber, but he is also pleased to have a mission to complete, although the only sign of his pleasure is the brightness of his eyes. When he catches someone's gaze, he simply nods.]

[Much as his likeness in child-form, Sephiroth is silent and observes everyone else without passing any comment. He lingers closer to the elevator doors than he has on previous infiltrations if only for the reason that this time he's less of a tag-along and more of one with an active, very important interest in all teams that are going down there. All in all this will be his 3rd intended journey to the floors below, and he fancies the fact that it makes him more of a veteran than most. As far as anyone could be considered an expert at all. Despite the anguish of dying, and the concerning side effect he experienced last time, Sephiroth knows that further expeditions can be the only way forward.

And just look at all of those eager enough to piggy-back off their grand plan. Hypocrites the lot of them, well, maybe not all of them but the vast majority. He imagines more than a handful of them had called him out for a fool on the network not two weeks ago and yet here they stand together.

He'll meet the gaze of anyone who looks his way hard enough, though, albeit with a heavy warning laced behind his glare particularly at those that he knows would bear him ill-will. There are certainly those that he wishes weren't here, those that he views as little more than cannon fodder but clearly the numbers here are going to make up to a force that surely the Administration couldn't deal with all at once. Like the collar boycott had proved, there is strength in numbers.

Sephiroth will look for Enoch amongst the crowd once, but will not linger his gaze too long so as to be staring. Only to verify that the other man is here, and to silently remind of their prior arrangement. Sephiroth will play nice provided there are no hidden agendas to undercut him at work here.]

[Shion's late, and Xion is antsy. After the fiasco that was the aftermath of the hacking plot, she knew better than to not tell him what was going on, and of course he'd wanted to come with, even though she'd told him she wouldn't be alone. As much as Xion hadn't liked the idea of him getting into danger for her sake, it was better than the alternative.

She knew he'd had work earlier today. But he should have come here straight afterwards. She knew he'd left their rooms this morning prepared for the eventual meetup. So the fact that he was late... it boded ill.

So she's already tense, and on edge. She's got a bowl of fruit salad that she's picked up to try to give her hands something to do, but she doesn't have the appetite for much of it. ...and then she spots Ganondorf near the elevator at some point, and the bowl falls from her hands with a clatter, her face livid. Shion was missing and now he was here?!

This whole thing was certainly was off to a bad start. Xion looks like she has half a mind to storm out right now.]

[It's not exactly the first time Riku is involved in a more large scale invasion of the administrative levels, but back then the conditions had been different. BAck then it had been Dax who had brought them down.

There is no denying that strength in numbers had proven its worth many times over during Riku's time in the tower, but still, given his own experiences with 'stealth' and infiltration missions (self-assigned or otherwise), he is just a tiny bit tense at watching just how many are gathering in the Cafeteria. ...Not that one could tell by looking at him.

He's sitting at the far end of one of the corner tables of the room, sipping at a glass of water as he keeps his eyes lingering on Ganondorf and his group of people as they work on the elevator.

...Oh yes, he is getting a very bad feeling about this.]

*Enoch nods at each of the people he personally told as they come in, and smiles faintly as people he knows they told come in.

[So this is actually happening. Amelia's honestly not sure she's ever seen so many people in one place before in the Tower outside of maybe the barricade, and even that had been primarily noncombatants. For a moment she can't help but wonder if everyone here is even going into this but... well. It's not a huge surprise people want to fight back.

She's wearing what armor she owns, with her sword firmly on her belt and the Black Axe Garm slung over one shoulder, eyes slowly scanning the crowd for anyone she happens to recognize, although she's in no way opposed to talking with those she doesn't know. The young knight knows better than to question potential allies at a time like this, however unlikely they may seem. Not that this stops her from hesitating when she notices Ganondorf is among them, but... this isn't the time to start a fight and she knows it.

And on the outside she manages to do a good job of appearing calm, even if deep down she's admittedly a little nervous. This is far from her first battle, but this is her first time taking part in a break-in and she's honestly not too sure what to expect other than a great deal of danger. And it's a feeling she knows well, that strange tense feeling that sinks in every time they were about to march into a battle... to be honest, it actually makes her a little bit nostalgic. It's almost like being at home on the march again. In a way, it makes her feel more alive than she's ever felt before in here.

[He stands toward the edge of the crowd, bus stop sign on his back and sword at his waist. In all, it seems like a normal visit to the cafeteria for this one. Yet this time he is just looking around the crowd, looking for familiar faces. After all, he'd informed at least most of his team with what he would be doing - several close friends as well.

Yet for someone planning on infiltrating the lower levels, this was definitely someone who was likely about to face death (again). Just another day in the tower, really.

Though not seeing even half his team here... Somehow, that bothers him more than what they were about to do - and some of the faces he sees among their number.]

*When it seems as if everyone has gathered, Enoch is standing in front of the open elevator doors (after having looked into the empty shaft, disappointed that there wasn't enough space for everyone to climb down safely at once.)*

Everyone, we will be searching Jason's... *....augh what was that word.* ...laboratory for the real versions of the items you can see on the table there. We can use them to examine other things here which are real, such as the film, the fluid within our bodies, and perhaps other things we haven't found yet.

The elevator shaft is too small for all of us to safely climb at once, so we will need to break into groups. Despite that, remember how many others are really with you. We will all be on the same floor. If you encounter one of our hosts, do not attack first. They are extremely powerful, and recklessness will lead you nowhere. Keep a level head, and try to make the most of whatever the situation may be.

[ With the Darknut Sword in hand, Ganondorf moved to the doors and looked down into the Elevator Shaft, before rising and floating above the ground. He would soon go inside the elevator shaft, given his powers don't get deactivated, to take a better look at what awaited them below. ]

Reaching Riki's area will probably take some time and the distraction will not last forever, we have no time to waste.

[ As far as he was concerned, they should all be ready by now. At least those in his group should, the others didn't matter to him. ]

*With, hopefully, concerns sorted out in the briefing, Enoch jumped into the elevator shaft and then again as he caught the cables, and swung around them to make room for someone else. The sword Ganon had given his group was tied against a belt loop using the string from his sling's ammo pouch; he'd give it to someone else when they were safely on Jason's floor. The sling itself was looped loosely around his neck.*

I think only three of us can climb in one space at a time. Else, if someone falls, we're all going to die at the bottom. Three others can ride on their backs, and if someone can fly...

Once a couple of groups had gone down Nesir stepped towards the shaft, looking around, planning to grab some people who weren't already stood with others. Most of the people she knew had went with Ganondorf already, though she had made sure not to betray herself of being with Ganondorf at all.

She nodded at a few people close by, "Shall we be going down?"

She's managed to grab a couple people for her group, but it looks like she'll be depending on the strangers behind her. Well, that's fine. If they slow her down, she can just leave them behind. And if they get in her way, she'll kill them herself.

After confirming that the shaft's empty, she nods to herself and glances behind her. She speaks clearly, without missing a beat.]

[All Yukari wanted was to enjoy a simple breakfast. So what if it's just glamoured nutrition bars? But no, she can't even have that! With all the explosions and general chaos that's going on, she's forced to take the long way down and she's pretty freaked out by the time she finally makes it into the cafeteria.

Slumping into a seat, she looks at a nasty burn mark on her leg (though she can't remember exactly which floor she was on when she got it) and summons her Persona to try and heal herself. While she tries to tend to her wound, she speaks out loud, hoping to catch someone's attention.]

Does anyone know what's going on!?
