[Massive Infiltration Plot] || [Semi-Open]

Setting: The Cafeteria, then the Elevator's Shaft and finally the Administrative Floors. The 29th of July, in the morning.
Format: Action most likely.

Summary: A month ago Ganondorf planned an infiltration to go and pay a visit to Riki's floor-- Given what has happened these last weeks, the 'Evil Alliance' has accepted to allow Enoch and the people he gathered to use the infiltration in order to do their own thing. Namely, retrieve scientific instruments from Jason's laboratory, so as to study the Collar Fluid. The infiltration will begin on the 1st floor, the Cafeteria.

The first thread is a traditional mingle thread, happening before the infiltration and briefing begin; anyone can tag into it. The second thread is a quick briefing before the infiltration starts, where Enoch and Ganondorf will explain to everyone what to do and what to expect in case they don't already know. Then there are the seven group threads, one for each individual team infiltrating.

Warnings: Administrative floors, danger, death, horror. Anyone tagging here is probably going to die, or at the very least meet with a terrible fate.

Once a couple of groups had gone down Nesir stepped towards the shaft, looking around, planning to grab some people who weren't already stood with others. Most of the people she knew had went with Ganondorf already, though she had made sure not to betray herself of being with Ganondorf at all.

She nodded at a few people close by, "Shall we be going down?"

"Sure thing." Zett grinned, approaching the elevator shaft a little closer. "If I go first, I can fly down and catch some of you if you fall. Does that sound good?"

Minato nodded. "That's good. Also, let me know if you need healing or support."

Since they're suppose to avoid combat as much as possible, they shouldn't need his spells. Unfortunately, as Ganondorf said during the briefing, the risk of being caught and dying was very high.

Kain stepped up, nodding as well. He may not have known the others he was assigned to go with, but that would likely change shortly. One learned about others quickly when placed in such situations.

"Fine with me. I should have no issues climbing. Would anyone need to be carried?"

Solas just shakes her head at Kain's question, quickly, shifting into her less humanoid form - the plant-person one. One less thing to maintain.

"I'm okay with climbing. I can probably act as a shield if anyone needs one - oh, and the healing, too...No, I don't need to be carried, thank you.

Shall we go?"

She wasn't expecting to be on a stealth team, but...honestly, it was better than having to fight. She never had enjoyed that.

"I do no be needing carried either." Nesir explained and stepped to the shaft, "But it do be only be looking big enough for three, if you." She gestured at the demon; learning names would probably be useful but there was little time, "Do be flying, then three can be climbing and one can be being carried."

The cables go down some ways--but somewhere below the cafeteria level they hook into the wall and stop. There are strange devices that seem built to decouple an elevator from its cables--this is where the switchover from residential functions to administrative functions occurs for this elevator shaft, and it will require crossing this cable-less gap.

Zett nods, and without further ado jumps into the elevator shaft and starts slowly flying down. He doesn't want to get too far ahead of his group, after all.

"There's a part where you can't climb down the cables," he calls back up. "But I can catch you!"

After checking his evoker was secured in its sheath, Minato glanced at the cables and quickly judged it. As he do, he quickly switch over to a Persona in his mind, keeping them at the "front" in case he need their assistance.

"I can climb down."

Minato looked about ready to go down. Let's get going.

Argh, in the right order this time...

With everything apparently settled, Kain is quick to get climbing. He's immediately thankful for having been wearing leather gloves, otherwise it would be that much more difficult.

He bites back a curse upon hearing of the gap, and doesn't even bother holding it in when he gets far enough down to see it with his own eyes.

"Damn! And I can't see where they resume..." His grip upon the cable that he's clinging to shifts. "If I can get a bit of purchase on the walls, I ought to be able to leap down safely enough. What of the rest of you?"

"Jumping, um...wow, that's a long way down..." Solas stares down, glad that she's able to hold on to the cables without much trouble...or, rather, able to latch her own vines onto it for added support.

"I might be able to make it...?" A pause as she re-assesses the situation. "...Maybe not. I think I'll take up that offer of being caught - I'm not that heavy."

Hooray for being plants.

When Nesir had climbed down that far she frowned. "I can probably be jumping too, but it do be being a good idea if you do be there in case we do be falling, and we do be going one at a time." She had no plans to falling to her death. She might have steeled herself to probably dying but not before they even got there.

"Do you be being ready?" She called down to Zett before jumping without waiting for an answer, she figured he was. It was not exactly the kind of place you could not be ready in.

Nesir was right, and without much problem Zett caught her in his many arms.

"Slow and steady wins the race, or something like that. But I can only hold about one of you at a time, so this might be slow going..."

As he spoke, he flew downwards, looking for where the cables returned.

The gap is quite wide--traveling down causes the elevator shaft's opening to vanish into the darkness eventually. A red light appears, though--while the cables still can't be seen, this does mark off the beginning of the administrative section proper.

Zett stopped somewhat above the ring of red light.

"Uh, well, there's not much to do but go through that... hoping it won't shoot lasers at us or something..."

He slowly floated downwards, trying to get a better look at what was causing the light.

"Be going slowly." She said, looking at the like suspiciously, "It do probably be going to be hurting us."

She might not know much about technology but she knows red lights are probably bad. She could barely see in the darkness, but let her hand trail down the wall, in case she could feel cables, or anything else useful.

She glanced upwards, hoping the others could still hear and knew what they were doing.

As soon as they enter the red light, all superhuman abilities will be disabled.

For a demon, "all superhuman abilities" includes a lot - therefore it isn't even the fact that he's starting to fall despite still pumping his wings that alerts Zett to what just happened.

"Powerlosschangeofplans!" he calls to those climbing above him as he starts to fall. Zett reaches for the shaft's wall and tries to stick his claws into it to slow their descent.

At least they hadn't been running down the wall or something dumb.

Power loss. Nesir had absolutely none to speak of anyways but she fell with Zett, her hand still out, frantically trying to find something to grab hold of, whilst keeping hold of Zett with her other hand.

A moment later she changed tactics, grabbing one of her daggers from her belt and trying to use it like Zett was using his claws.

Kain held tight to his position and listened for any report from Nesir or Zett. When that report came, he didn't much like it. No powers. No cables. No guarantee of where the bottom was.

"...very well."

And with no further elaboration he draws the salvaged sword that he brought with him, flings himself at an angle towards the side of the elevator shaft, and proceeds to start rebounding his way downwards. With his 'powers' still available to him, it should be no problem. With them gone? Perhaps he'll have enough force to his jumps to get one or two bounces. And then? Well... he had as much practice falling as he did soaring.

The fall is long, but the cables come up quickly all the same, though Nesir and Zett's falls are accompanied by sparks given off by the friction of claws and daggers on the side of the elevator shaft. The cable is slick with blood in places, but it's either attempt to grab on or continue falling.

Zett attempts to grab tight hold of the cable. This could and probably will injure him, but he's used to that happening, and falling to the bottom doesn't sound any more appealing.

Power loss was something Minato expected, and why he didn't risk offering his Personas to carry them down. With a quick glance, he made his decision after climbing down far enough.

So he basically readied himself and let himself fall. His hand instinctively reach out and grab whatever he can get to slow his fall.

This was probably end in dislodging his shoulder. Oh well.

Nesir drove her dagger further into the wall and let go of Zett, bring her other hand round to try and grab the cable. At the same time she tried to kick her feet towards the cables, trying to use her feet to slow her down more.

She gritted her teeth, expecting pain.
