[Rise had looked in a few of the dorm rooms already, but she hadn't done as thorough of search as she could have done--she'd been in a hurry, just checking the rooms where she knew her friends were staying before rushing down to check other floors. Searching the dorm floors again was a good idea. Plus she hadn't been looking for Luke and Tear's friends, so she could've missed them entirely.]

Right! To the dorm floors it is, then! Let's goooo!

*At least there is truth in that the glamour doesn't exactly upset him. He had already resigned himself to the idea that his body here was not his own; embraced it, even, under the knowledge that it was a show of true hospitality when there otherwise seemed to be none. Seeing just how alien it was was a shock, and more than a bit disturbing on principle. But it was nowhere near as distressing as seeing other people in distress over it.*

*Sorry for the mental image. The idea itself didn't disturb Enoch as much as what the implications were enraged him, which, well, he was already angry. If he was right, Ruana used every single living thing around her for her own gain at the worst of expenses for the other party.

It takes him a moment to respond, his whole body tense.*

If they're glamoured at all. I think only Ruana must not be what she appears. The others have said they're human...and they have never given us direct lies, only incomplete truths.

Enoch nodded and reached out to put a hand on Romeo's shoulder.

[ Are you fucking kidding me?!!! He had to bite his own tongue to avoid saying that, but it paid off. Instead, he cleared his throat and moved a hand to scratch at the center of his head. ]

Well, damn. I guess that makes me the younger one, after all. I'm fourteen in human years, so-

[ In regard to her other question, Tavros shrugged. ] It's your kinda thing because you're tiny? Err, I don't mean it in a bad way. It's adorable, I guess? [ shut up just-- shut up! ]

[Tohko wasn't the only one who was surprised. Tavros seemed to be about sixteen or so. She didn't think he was that young..but, then again, age didn't mean much sometimes in terms of what people could and couldn't do.

At the second comment, she couldn't help but sigh..and chuckle a little. So she was just like a little sister in how she looked? Well..she could understand that, in a way. Even if Tav's cute awkwardness did make him seem like a younger brother. As she spoke, she patted his head.]

..It's fine. Don't worry about it! Younger or older, I guess I'm still like your sister, so it's not that big of a deal. But..I'm pretty sure things will look better in the morning, after you get some sleep.

[Now that her panic has begun to wane, she's become a little curious.]

[Luke paused, looking down at his hand. Was it because of hyperresonance? Or Lorelei? Or because he was a replica? It could have been anything really; heck, it could have been because of what time he came into the Tower for all he knew.]

['Companionship' is a hard thing to describe to someone. He needed to make something up.]

I don't believe that thinking over 'what-if's is helpful right now.

[That was his singular determination. Not to stop anything, not to rage against the system-- he was done with that. He wanted facts now. Hard, cold facts that he could grasp.

Luke and Tear had their truth. He needed to find his.]

Is there anything we can do to help then?

[Despite everything that had occurred that night, Tear knew that Barnaby was capable of being fairly eloquent. She wondered what it is that he was truly searching for that seemed so different from what the rest of the residents in the tower were.

Or, maybe like Luke and Asch, it wasn't so much that their goals were different but their methodology.]

[Tear sighed. Her theory really was one that she'd gleamed from other residents in the tower from the network, but it did make sense. She wasn't sure what this other man could really do, but Tear, Luke, Luke, Asch, and the two Ions had skills that were difficult for most people on Auldrant to use. Fonic Hymns? Hyperresonance? Daathic Fonic Artes? Extremely rare. That also explained why Anise's collar was a different color from the rest.]

It's as good as anything else that I've heard. At this point, it makes sense.

Nothing she does is selfless. It's good for us, but I won't doubt for a moment she did it for herself.

[The hug is surprising, but Ryoji won't deny that it's needed. He's glad that the warmth is still there, that it still feels right. He's so glad that he can at least close his eyes and imagine everything is normal, that they're still in their proper bodies.

He bows his head slightly, a bit embarrassed himself.]

Y-You don't need to apologize... I'm really alright. This is... different, but I can't say I thought that illusion was entirely real.

[The last time he was alive, he was in a different form, and that body was destroyed by SEES. He didn't exactly think that the body he had seen in the Tower had been an illusion, but he didn't think it was really his, either.]

He pauses, and then when he speaks again, he sounds a bit sheepish. Clearly Enoch won't need to worry about him being a stranger much longer.

"Sorry, I forgot. You can't really tell who I am... I don't know if we've met, but I'm Ryoji Mochizuki."
