I agree. While we're vulnerable, they might be in a similar situation. It's a shame that a contingency plan to strike when the power dropped was not put into place.

Well, we had no idea what those chips were going to do. And I don't think anyone expected this. I don't think we could have formed a plan.

I don't believe that thinking over 'what-if's is helpful right now.

[Despite everything that had occurred that night, Tear knew that Barnaby was capable of being fairly eloquent. She wondered what it is that he was truly searching for that seemed so different from what the rest of the residents in the tower were.

Or, maybe like Luke and Asch, it wasn't so much that their goals were different but their methodology.]

Yeah, we wouldn't mind helping.

[Luke glanced between Tear and Barnaby.]

We're all in this together, even the people we don't like. It's better if we all cooperate with each other as much as we can.

[He regarded the both of them, quietly amazed that they were blindly offering their help when it was clear that they were having more trouble finding stability than he was. Although they wouldn't be able to help him with his personal battle, Barnaby wasn't going to question it. There was no wisdom in turning away anything that could be useful.]

If all of the systems are obviously useless if they're all down, and I don't think you have any more information on the 'fonchips', Mister Luke.

For now, let's just keep eachother up to date on what we find. This Zelda doesn't have a monopoly on it, does she?

No, I don't think she does. However, she was the one that I was pointed to talk to about finding a way home when I first got here.

Er... not really, no. I don't know much about technology; it took me a long time just to figure out how to use the terminals.

[He glanced at Tear a moment.]

I talked to someone named Sheik... so I guess she doesn't.

Someone also mentioned Zelda to me, but I'm not going to trust someone I haven't met yet. [He was too wary to trust in many circumstances, and didn't give it freely as it was.]

I have a couple of leads too that aren't connected to Zelda, and I'm going to meet with her when things settle.

[There was also the nameless, faceless man who gave him those few words, the words that he was currently clinging to as an anchor for his sanity. But, he had no way of seeking the man out for future conversations.]

[Tear thought about how things had turned out and sighed.]

I'd like to find Tohko and Link when this is all over. I'd like to ask them both some questions.

We'd be better off going with Miss Tear's idea. I should have realized that Tohko-san was someone that we could ask for answers. Her explanation when we met was...[Long and hard to follow--] detailed, but she was reluctant to clarify. I think her friend is to blame for that.
