Ugh......point taken. [Why would the administrators let them talk secretly in a place as obvious as their rooms? Still, Edgeworth cannot let the subject drop. Link had accomplices. There was more than one person instructed by Dax.

By now, Edgeworth seems a lot calmer. He is still badly shaken from what has just happened but Link has given him a vital piece of information. He's not sure where it will lead him, but he cannot ignore it. Besides, it the only opportunity to find out that truth that he can grasp onto at this point.

Edgeworth lowers his voice.]

Perhaps, um.....we could go and have a look at what has happened to the rest of the tower? [He actually means find a place where the administrators are less likely to hear them talking. After all, Dax's accomplices obviously found a way to deal with these illusion-spelling devices without the other administrators catching wind of it.]

It's not the same at all! If the power went out, then this happened because of a power failure. If someone just turned everything off, this could be just as much of a trick as anything else they've done to us here.

[Luke squeezed Tear's hand a little tighter, afraid for her. Who knew what would even happen now? If the Glamour would ever come back up, or if they were stuck looking like this forever now. For a moment, he was almost grateful for the illusions, wishing them to come back as soon as possible. Was the truth better to see...? He wasn't so sure.]

[Cu Chulainn looks from his brother's face down to his own hands, recalls what happened, and then recoils in horror.]

[ Tavros didn't know what to say. A part of him wanted to be honest with Gamzee and give him a good taste of their reality. There is no fucking point in doing anything in this place, and while he enjoyed pretending he had some little power to make a difference around here, it was time to fucking wake up.

Another reality to keep in mind: He loves this troll so much. He couldn't bring himself to be this negative when Gamzee is trying so hard to make the best out of this situation. ]

Thank you for your concern, Rise, but I think I'll be alright. It appears to be...clotting already. [The feel of Luke's hand gripping hers kept Tear grounded, sane. It was a lifeline in the middle of all this horror that was going on.]

Besides, I have a feeling that when things return to how we are used to them being, there will be something new for us to deal with. At least, if I understand all of the stories that Luke has told me. It is Ruana's turn to be in charge, yes?
