[This portion of the truth was a mixed blessing to chaos. One the one hand, his powers, Anima on the whole, was gone. He held no power here right now, and he wasn't any threat at all. However..that meant he couldn't help others, and there would be people who wouldn't like the harsh truth.

So, when he saw a person running by and recognized the voice, he followed it, a bit worried about this person.]

Gamzee, are you alright?

[God damnit, all of these human-looking blobby wire figures were so similar-looking! This is exactly why trolls were superior - their horns distinguished them even when they lost all other details.]

[He's heard this voice enough to recognize it, at least. But just recognizing it didn't give him a face or a name to associate with it. He had a fucking terrible memory. He waved his wire-frame hand in front of the figure's face, tilting his non-head a little.]

[Well, chaos wasn't really expecting Gamzee to know who he was. It was odd for chaos to rely on normal senses, but..it wasn't bad. In fact, chaos was probably one of the few who was a bit happy about his power loss.]

[Gamzee wouldn't have minded. He has a very short attention span when it comes to other people's problems, anyway. Which is a blessing for some, and an irritant for many more. He laughs at chaos' response, though.]

Not fucking necessary, brother. Don't know what the fuckin' point is in looking on them, anyway. Don't much fuckin' got a clue 'bout nothing right now, 'cept all that I can't be sittin' around with my wiry thumbs up my nook.

There is a point. If you are worried about them or wish to help them, searching would be a good way to start. And I agree with your sentiment..but as for what happened to us, it seems that this is what we truly appear like in this Tower. Our prior appearance was nothing more than an illusion.

You almost never know. Your friends and even random strangers may benefit from meeting and conversing with you. I have seen things like that happen quite a few times.

I imagine that it does apply to you quite a bit, even if you yourself do not realize it.

[That might have factored into it, but..there was also the issue that people sometimes underestimated how important they were in others lives. chaos had seen plenty of that in his long life.]

..Some people do choose to see it that way. But if you ignore the shell and harm it, it will most likely harm your consciousness as well. But things may be different in your universe.

[Not that chaos minded the debates. He was always interested in seeing where other people stood, since it could help him help them later on, even if they didn't realize it. Gamzee's bad memory was helping him here though. If he remembered that he wasn't human, problems might arise.]

But again, it is good that you realize that you are still yourself like this. Hopefully you shall be able to obtain your husk eventually if you want it.

[As for chaos..there were still pros and cons about having a proper shell that he was debating.]
