She shouldn't be surprised someone would have questions. There's no point in secrecy at the moment so she might as well answer them. Hopefully it'll keep him from panicking and he can try to calm others.

Please, like he was one to panic at random happenings like this. Nor did he really care to calm anyone that might be panicking. If he does, then the only reason would be that they might be useful to him. "Second, have you noticed anything that may stand out as odd to you yet?"
