I can't imagine it was. I remember you mentioning your shadow now and fighting it. I just didn't realize it was so much like this.

[His voice sounds worried and if he still had a face that could show expression, it would be showing concern as well.]

Are you sure you are okay with all this? It's not bringing back bad memories? Or at least, not more than you can handle?

I ain't somebody ya gotta worry about. Sure this wasn't how I expected t' spend today, but I can manage. I'm more worried 'bout everyone else.

Labrys, you're important to me. I am afraid I'm always going to worry about you. However, I am relieved to hear and see you are doing so well. I'm proud of you.

[Diarmuid steps forward to give her a hug.]

I will let you find your friends. But if you need me for anything, don't be afraid to track me down, okay?

[She hugged him back, mildly surprised at how real everything still felt.]

You're gonna be okay, right?

It's funny, isn't it? We look so different, but it all still feels the same.

[He hugs her for a moment longer before finally stepping away.]

Use that to show people that not everything has changed. Sometimes touch is the only way to make people understand.

[Diarmuid tilts his head at her as he often does when he smiles.]

As are you. You were one of the people I was looking for. I think I will be okay, but if I believe I am starting to slip, I will make sure to find someone to help level me out again. You and a lot of other people went to a lot of work to straighten me out. I'm not going to let that go to waste.
