Don't you narrow yours down either, then. That shirt - you're not the Dave Strider I know, but the one I do...I think he's got a lot more on his mind than he ever lets on. Maybe I let my emotions out too easily, but that comes from being around the water. A few more tears in the ocean aren't gonna make a tidal wave, so why not let them out? Or whatever analogy's better.

Well, hey. I'm the newer model, two years older and you helped someone out that I know. Well, not you specifically. Another you out in the ring.

[He leans back against the wall beside her, stretching his long legs out with a tired sigh.] I wouldn't say you let your emotions out too easily. Only you can decide that. And this isn't a shirt. It's dirt. Rose and I figured best way to reclaim who we are is to display our symbols.

It sounds like something I'd do, out in the ring - huh. I never really got all the doomed timeline stuff, but...if there's a version of me out in the ring that's still trying to do what's right, that's something. That's a big thing.

[She's quiet for a minute, before tracing a hand along the floor, picking up dirt. Then, she traces her sign on her chest.]

Good idea.

[He doesn't say anything else, just swipes some dirt from the floor and holds it out for her. He might be covered in it, save the clear space that forms the disc on his chest (minus the sketched in break), but he can see her way too.]
