He stopped after they're close enough to talk.

"Fairly alright."

Which meant Minato had his internal freakout, but chose to prioritise properly. Since Yu was here, he found it easy to assume his roommate have the same thing happened to him.

"I can't hear them. You?"

The voices.

He heard his friend, there - after last June, a part of him twisted inside when the silence took effect.

"Nothing."

Which he was still not okay with, but with what was going on... Well, he still had a job to do.

The silence was unsettling. It's like being on one of the powers nullifying floor, but Minato felt this was different.

"And everyone else?"

But right now, checking on their friends took priority.

That was more than likely because it very much was different, and in a manner that there was nothing one could do about it.

"Of the ones I talked to already, no one else can summon, either. They're hanging in there the best they can, though."

Moments like this... he was almost glad that Nanako would not bear witness to this. Yet he couldn't even consider that, either.

Instead of going to another floor, they don't know how to switched their powers back on.

"For now, I assume people can't use their powers." It would be odd to restrict it to just the Persona-users. "And rely on our personal fighting skills if we can't flee from a monster."

Speaking of monsters, were they affected by the glamour failure as well...?

"Yeah." Both to being unable to use powers, and using what they had from the start. Though that made him wonder if monsters were affected too. He hadn't gone to look, after all.

"I'll ask around about the monsters...unless I find them first."

Because really, since he suspect the monsters act as normal as ever. Just without the glamour.

He'd rather not see a close friend waking up in a pod after dying, okay.
