[Archer frowns as he turns his attention over to Saber. Seeing the other Servant with some sort of weapon (whatever that was, since it did not really look like a sword) made him that much more annoyed that Lancer had tried to tell him to leave his weapon behind.

And then he heard the "idiot" comment.]

Stop making it sound like Ayaka does not know me, fool!

[He turns around to glare at Archer.]

We can't even recognize each other right now!

[Three guesses who's glaring back. First two guesses don't count.]

And you implied that I would hurt Ayaka! Again!

[Right, that's it. The sound's getting to be a little too much to ignore. Annoyed at being shaken out of her freakout, Ayaka stands up and heads toward the noise.

It is obviously the Three Stooges, and so she puts a palm to her forehead.]

What are the three of you even doing, arguing in front of a dorm room like that...

[ As much as Saber is glaring at Archer too, he's stopped from retorting by the green figure approaching them. ]

Ayaka! We've been looking for you.

[ There's no anger in his voice, but it's clear he wasn't expecting her to be outside. He turns to the girl and holds out his hand to her. ]

You should be inside where it's safer.

[puppy_lancer]

Little lady!

[Lancer's relief would show on his face, if he still had one.]

You okay here?

[bowandblade]

[Archer's irritation melts away when he hears that familiar voice, and the tension leaves his shoulders as he steps closer to Ayaka and away from the door they had been needlessly crowded around.]

Ayaka! It has been too long since I have heard your voice filled with such strength and exasperation!

I was in the middle of an existential crisis, but I guess I can't do that anymore with the hallway suddenly becoming so noisy.

[Somebody is cranky, isn't she?]

Other than that, I'm all right. ...What about the three of you?

There's no reason for you to have one of those.

[ He points to the bright light inside the green gel of her makeshift body. ]

That is you. That has always been you. The only difference between now and when we were in Fuyuki is that you can actually see yourself clearly now.

[Lancer has to take a moment to stare in open-mouthed exasperation at Archer's words.]

Wow, Archer, no wonder you can't get any chicks.

[He looks back at Ayaka and Saber.]

...Saber is right. As long as the soul is you, you're still the Ayaka we all knew and bonded with.

And I'm fine. Doing better than you, I guess.

[bowandblade]

[Archer may be closer to Ayaka, but he is still close enough to Lancer to smack him upside the head. He gives his wireframe hand a look of distaste before addressing Ayaka's question.]

I am as fine as I ever am, without any doubt. This is nothing shocking to a Heroic Spirit; this is little more than a hideous form of a Servant vessel.

[Of course he focuses purely on personal aesthetics. The state of the tower was something different.]

[And this is the usual lineface Saber gets for being a dork. Good job, guys!] Well, excuse me for not expecting to suddenly be an artificial construct. [She looks at her hand with a little distaste.] Honestly...

[And at everyone's general response of "yeah, we're okay", she just...nods.] It's...good to know that.

[SHE'S NOT HAPPY THAT YOU GUYS ARE ALL RIGHT OKAY SHUT UP.]

[ If looks could kill... Archer would probably be dead at least a dozen times over from Saber and Lancer alone.

It's a good thing they can't make out Ayaka's expression. ]

We didn't expect you to. If we had, we wouldn't be here.

[ That's a slight exaggeration; Saber at least would be here even if he had. ]

[Lancer growls and rubs at the back of his head.]

What he said. This isn't exactly expected or even a nice surprise, but it's not too bad. You still feel like you, right?

[To drive that point in, he walks up to her and reaches to fluff her hair.]

[If Archer notices any looks from the other Servants, he ignores them. And there is still a level of distaste having touched Lancer's filmy hair to not react too much over him patting Ayaka on the head.]

Ayaka is still clearly in command of her faculties! Did you not hear that passionate grumbling of hers?

[Any attempt at dignity goes out the window when Lancer fluffs her hair.] S-stop that! Stop! There's no reason to do such a thing!
