She pauses.

And stands there.

She opens her mouth.

... and closes it again.

Nope, she can't do this, she doesn't know how to scream even if she tries like this.. ]

....... How do you make a bloodcurdling scream?

... You know, I'm really not sure. [The only time he makes any noises like that is if he's been hit by something. It's reflex.]

I mean I hear my enemies do it all the time! But I don't think I ever learned how.

Maybe it's something we missed out on..

[ Somehow there's some slight disappointment in her tone, aside from the usual blankness. As if this is a huge disaster they can never catch up to. After all, Urotsuki would probably do it given the right situation, but as she normally is there's no way she can just do it like that. ]

[Aw, he can't have any of that! If she's going to be disappointed, he's determined to fix it and make that feeling go away.]

Maybe! But that doesn't mean we can't learn from others. Whaddya say, should we go around and ask?

We can..? [ That seems a little bit happier already. It's an exciting prospect, after all! She wants to learn so badly from the people here..! ]

People won't think we're annoying?

Well even if they do, we can figure something out. I mean, we did find each other after all. [He chuckles a bit and pats her shoulder a little, it's supposed to be reassuring since he really is coming to like her.]

Hey, there's some folks from my world here, maybe we can ask them if we find them. One has a very good scream around some beasts.

Woah.. I want to meet them.

[ Still a little blankly. But a little excited as well. People he knows?! She hasn't seen anyone from her world - as far as she knows - in the tower, so the idea that multiple people from the same world can be here is sort of amazing. ]

They're nice people, aren't they?

Yeah, they're all great! Funny characters too, I know they have my back and if anyone comes after them, well I'll make their head explode! [That may be a legitimate theat.]

I'm sure they'll like you because I sure do!

[ Hey, she doesn't seem to mind the threat. It happened to her before too, heads exploding, totally normal. She's more occupied by the second half since it makes her hopes glow once more. ]

Will they want to become friends with me too..?

[bloodlessons]

I'm absolutely positive! If they let a guy like me hang around with them, well you'd be perfect! [Here's someone who knows full well that he doesn't think and act like other people usually do.]

Having friends is still kinda new for me, I'd be happy to have you around with them.

[chainsawn]

It's still sort of new for me too. It only started here in this tower.. [ She doesn't often admit it, but she feels a little more comfortable telling him. Sure, there were the things in her dreams, but she's learned by now that other people don't really count those as friends.. ] .. we can learn together, maybe.

Sure thing! And then I can show you all my collections once I start them up again here, even if it ends up looking like all the things back in the rooms. [He shrugs just a bit, really he's surprised that she's only just learning in the tower, even if he was still learning what it meant to truly befriend someone himself.]

We already agreed to stick together because you think I'm interesting, and I've kept my word that I haven't died yet. Just for you.

[ "Just for you." Just those words are enough to make her feel so much better. After all, isn't that all she wants? To be wanted, for people to want to be with her, for people to do things for her.. he's not dying. For her sake. Just that.... it's so warm. ]

Are they interesting collections? Did you have a big one back home?

[The effect his words had on her is a little lost on him, but seeing her happier, well... His smile is a little more warm, more genuine than it would usually be, if only she could see it.]

Sorta big, traveling all the time meant that I had to keep things a little small or Chrom and Robin would get mad at me, and I never did have a lot of things in my life.

[ But in her enthusiasm she forgets their situation for a moment. As she raises her arms, she notices the wireframe. It makes her stop awkwardly for a moment before just dropping her arms again. ]

Aw, bummer! [He's only a bit disappointed, but it passes on quickly enough.]

That's okay, we'll find new ways to show each other neat stuff! Even if it's just pointing out where we think our spleens should be in these things.

[ Blink. She's already on it, Henry, you just have to say the word and she's poking at the wireframe. ]

Nothing would fit in here though, right? It's so thin..
