[He starts working on getting her arm covered, using a bit of his own dirt like Rose did for him.]

[It occurs to her for a moment that duh, things probably went differently in different universes with different genetics. Then again, it could also just be she as scared shitless of Noir even now.

She doesn't think about that too long though and decides not to dwell on it, and instead helps spread the mud around. It did sort of help, in a weird way.]

Oh hell no. I'm only fifteen and some odd months. I'm not that much older. Don't go calling me a dinosaur. [He holds his hands up and makes a finger wagging gesture just to be over the top ridiculous about the joke.]

[Over the top ridiculous was exactly the kind of ridiculous that amused Jade the most. Even if it was totally uncool.]
