[She breathes out something that's almost but not quite a laugh.]

Okay. Then-- thank you for that, too.

[Message received.]

[Riku chuckles lowly and shakes his head. He should have expected that.]

You are welcome. Again.

[Good.]

[Should have, indeed.]

Good.

[If he's accepting it, that is.]

[He is, he is. He said it isn't needed, not that he wouldn't accept it, if given. He isn't that rude.

After another moment, Riku pulls his hand away, pushing himself back to his feet before reaching down to offer her his hand.]

What do you say... should we go see if we can find everyone else?

[lethechained]

[As it should be, then. She lets him pull his hand away without protest, staying where she is herself but raising her face to watch him until he reaches back down for her. At the offer, she only pauses a moment before taking that hand.]

Yes, please. Let's go. [They should all make sure everyone is doing alright.]

[He keeps his grip gently, but firm enough to pull her up on the first try, only letting go once he's sure that she is steady on her feet.]

Alright. Any preferrences on where to get started?

[Her legs feel a little shaky, she finds - a lingering affect of her shock, perhaps, but she glances down and knows it's probably all in her head, anyway. She keeps her feet without trouble, regardless, and raises her eyes back to his before long.]

No. Not really.

[She does glance around for a moment, though.]

The others have probably gone wherever they think is best by now.

[Which may not always be their rooms.]

[Riku doesn't notice any shakiness in her at least, crossing his arms as he frowns slightly and considers their options.]

...I know that Terra is going from room to room right now, looking for the rest from our universes. We could try to meet up with him. Or we could try our luck downstairs?

[lethechained]

[She considers this, herself, eyes trailing downward.]

Well-- I suppose we'll want to meet with him later, at least. For now - it might be better to spread out a little, if we want to find the others....

[But it's also more dangerous, she figures, which shows in her expression, in that intonation at the end of her words.]

[Riku nods in agreement - going down seems the better option to him as well - and then shoots her what's meant to be an encouraging smile.]

Don't worry. If we run into anything, I'll deal with it.

[He may be without weapon and nothing more than a wire frame right now, but he still has his smarts and he still has his resolve. He'll definitely keep her safe.]

[What she can see of it is encouraging enough, at least, and she works out a smile of her own. At his words there is a huff of something almost like a laugh, then,]

I believe in you.

[Even though she knows there are impediments. If nothing else, they can make a run for it.]

[That's just what he's aimed for, so yay success! (yea)]

[The corners of her lips twitch in some greater smile, then relax.]

You've never let me down. [A beat.] Just don't let it deal with you, too.

[Because she knows his priorities, regardless of whether she agrees with them.]
