Characters: Everyone ever.
Setting: Floor 38- On Christmas Eve and Christmas.
Format: Action or prose, whichever format you prefer.
Summary: CHRISTMAS PARTY! Now that the Jason!Flu is finally over, all the characters can celebrate Christmas in peace (nearly?) and eat some acceptable food that was cooked by the volunteers. The 38th floor is, as usual, the floor where the party happens and has been entirely decorated for Christmas. The Christmas Party will be open for Christmas Eve and the entirety of Christmas. For characters who wouldn't check this floor, the party has been advertised on the network.

As is usual with these party logs, it's free game! Feel free to post a mingle thread for your character as they spend time in the party or an activity (singing, dancing? playing game? gift giving? anything). Add to that, you're free to start as many threads as you want, be they open or closed! Please put in the header your character's name or the activity's name. If a prompt is closed, then please make sure to write it in the header too!

The lounge on the 38th floor has been entirely decorated with ribbons, tinsels, Christmas balls and many other things- All hand-made of course. The first thing that can probably be noticed upon entering is the majestic Christmas Tree sitting near the entrance, decorated as well and with wrapped boxes at its feet. There are a lot of empty spaces in the room for people to dance if so they wish as well as empty tables to organize games or sit down, in short everything needed to run an activity. Oh, and there is mistletoe hung at the floor's entrances. Nothing bad really.

Most important there is a lot of food in here, placed on a couple tables. Most of that food comes from the tower's restaurant-- Someone must have done a lot of work for the tower these last days. At least here and now you don't have to risk a limb to get some quality food. Aside from the restaurant food there are also cakes, yule logs as well as many cooked meats and fruits.

Last but not least, this floor isn't as cold here as the rest of the tower. There are a total of what appears to be four fireplaces (hand-made as all the other decorations) in the room, one against each of the walls with fires lit within them. Of course these are not exactly normal fires and a lot of resources and energy has been spent to make them so they will last for the entirety of the party- After this they will be unusable, but at least until then they will keep the room at a normal temperature.

[After helping with the setup, and being sure to avoid chaos, Shion left for a short time. She headed to her room, to put on her old Vector uniform, as it was a little nicer than her normal clothes. Plus, it didn't have a big, scorched hole punched through the back of it.

Then she set off to find Allen. She managed to do that fairly easily, and in no time at all, she was back, arm in arm with him.]

*For once, Allen was just Allen. He'd changed into his own Vector uniform, then put up a general illusion so that even supernatural senses would register him as human. Only the small handful of people who already knew he was something more or those whose minds he simply couldn't affect would be able to tell he was anything other than normal.

Then Shion had insisted on holding onto his arm. He was a little apprehensive about the idea, still not sure how close he should let himself get to Shion, but...well, maybe he could forget about the whole Testament thing for a day, as his Christmas present to the both of them. So arm in arm it was as they walked into the relative warmth of the lounge.*

[See? That wasn't so hard. ~~AND DON'T THEY LOOK PRECIOUS IN THEIR MATCHING UNIFORMS?~~]

It's too bad I couldn't find Jin. He would like this. It looks just like Christmas in books.

*He can't help but smirk a little at her comment about Jin. He'd spent a large portion of the trip to this floor in a telepathic conversation with the other Testament, using various tricks and bits of leverage to convince him to show up. Of course, he still couldn't be sure, but he had a feeling he'd succeeded.*

I get the feeling he'll find out about it somehow. It's not exactly subtle.

You think so? Bec--

[She paused, then looked up at him.]

You don't know something, do you?

*He shrugged.*

I might have managed to let him know what was going on.

Oh! Really? Allen, thank you.

[He would be the recipient of a very genuine smile as she steered them over to the tree. She stopped, her arms still linked with his, and she rested her head against his shoulder.]

*He smiled back, letting her lead the way.*

Don't worry about it. Just think of it as a present for the holidays.

I really mean it. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

I'm glad I could make you happy, then.

*He reached up with his free hand to lightly touch Shion's arm. Part of him wanted to just pull her into a hug, but holiday promise or not, he was still a little hesitant about obvious shows of affection.*

[Jin stood a few feet away and behind then, dressed in his green robes and pants. After Allen's sneaky and cheating way of getting him to come, he felt it a bit necessary to get some revenge on the underhand way Allen had used.

As Allen pulled her into a hug, Jin chose that moment to cough softly but obnoxiously enough to get their attention.]

[She turned at his brotherly interruption.]

Jin!

[SORRY ALLEN, but she broke away from him because Jin gets a hug.]

*In retrospect, he probably should have been paying more attention to the area around them. When Jin coughed, he jumped slightly and turned, blushing faintly as Shion let go of him to hug her brother.*

How long were you standing there?

[He couldn't help but laugh at Allen's blush, giving Shion a quick hug before looking her over to assure himself that she's alright.]

Long enough.

[About 30 seconds.]

Jin, what have you been doing?

[It's Christmas, so her tone is only a little stern]

I haven't seen you at all since you got here.

*He crossed his arms, putting on his best serious face...which, at the moment, still included an obvious tinge of both annoyance and amusement.*

I told you she'd want to see you.

[SHUT UP ALLEN. But he'll grin at bit at you just because, yeah fine, you were right. Don't get too smug about it though.]

I've been distracted by the library.

[Not... exactly a lie.]

I'm sure your Jin enjoys old novels just as much as I do.

[She sighed.]

And you couldn't make time for your little sister? I'm hurt.

[She might have been, but she said this all very matter-of-factly.]

*He'll just walk over and put a hand on Shion's shoulder.*

Maybe you should drop by the library yourself sometimes.

*This is for your deliberately bad timing, Jin.*

Actually, they kind of both are, but yes, he was referring to Jin in this case.
