Setting: The Cafeteria, then the Elevator's Shaft and finally the Administrative Floors. The 29th of July, in the morning.
Format: Action most likely.

Summary: A month ago Ganondorf planned an infiltration to go and pay a visit to Riki's floor-- Given what has happened these last weeks, the 'Evil Alliance' has accepted to allow Enoch and the people he gathered to use the infiltration in order to do their own thing. Namely, retrieve scientific instruments from Jason's laboratory, so as to study the Collar Fluid. The infiltration will begin on the 1st floor, the Cafeteria.

The first thread is a traditional mingle thread, happening before the infiltration and briefing begin; anyone can tag into it. The second thread is a quick briefing before the infiltration starts, where Enoch and Ganondorf will explain to everyone what to do and what to expect in case they don't already know. Then there are the seven group threads, one for each individual team infiltrating.

Warnings: Administrative floors, danger, death, horror. Anyone tagging here is probably going to die, or at the very least meet with a terrible fate.

[Zelda nods at Arturia's "breadcrumb" so to speak, agreeing with the idea. Though she's not entirely sure they should return that way - it didn't seem like the elevator had serviced that particular hall in a long while - better to be safe than sorry.

The sudden lack of echoes is a relief, even if she has to squint because her vision is now being played with.]

... There it is.

[She eventually points out, quietly, almost with awe. It's strange, though she committed herself to the effort of trying, a part of her didn't think they would actually make it. She approaches the door, slowly, staying near her companions.]

Hello...? Is anyone in there?

[It's silent. The room through the window is dark and can't be seen. The door, if they try it, is also locked.]

[Arturia moves up to the door and knocks on the window. Yes, it will get attention, but the whole point is to see if someone is trapped within, isn't it?]

If we can't get in, perhaps we should try the next one?

[The darkness shimmers behind the glass.]

[A pause.]

Do you suppose more of those shadows are in there?

I... I do not know. In the darkness before I could at least see their teeth as clear as day.

[She joins Arturia near the door, lifting her hand to the frosted window and trying to use the light magic glittering around it to illuminate the room.]

[animusnpcs]

[It's difficult to see anything through the frosted glass, but there doesn't seem to be anything in the empty room. Still, the darkness shimmers around the edges.]

Perhaps we can find another way here if we go through another door? Or find a key?

[faithstaynight]

[Ruler frowns.]

But where could we possibly find a key? Searching through the other doors will be quite the sidetrack, and we don't know just how far the corridors might stretch beyond them.

[The door opens suddenly. In the gloom, R-037 stands there, looking alarmed. A gas mask is held in her hand.]

What are you doing here, it's dangerous!

[She whispers, but the whisper is as close to a shout as she can bring it.]

I have to agree with Ruler--

[But Zelda can't complete that thought before suddenly their old retrieval unit friend has shown up again.

Zelda blinks, taking a few steps back in her surprise.]

We... thought someone might have been locked down here...?

[She explains uncertainly, since that is obviously not the case.]

And.... other things, but if it's dangerous we should not speak of it here.

[The look on Arturia's face makes it clear that it's not an 'if' on the danger part. They are perfectly aware of how much danger there is down here. Not the specific danger, but that it is very, very stupid to come down here.]

[animusnpcs]

I mean--come inside, alright? [R-037 puts her gas mask back on--it covers her entire face, more of a hood than a mask. Still, she can speak with it on easily enough. The shadows in the room ripple and twist.]

I need you to tell me if you've been experiencing anything strange. Seeing or hearing or feeling things that shouldn't be there, that disappear--wounds with no cause--strange thoughts entering your head?

No wounds, no. At least not ones we don't know the causes to. [Her shirt is still red and nose crooked from her broken nose, even if her abilities are slowly getting ti to heal.]

No strange thoughts that I've noticed. Ruler? Zelda?

[faithstaynight]

[Ruler shakes her head, her frown returning.]

No, nothing here. But wait a moment. If you need that mask, then what about us-?

There was the pressure and ringing from earlier, and our footsteps seemed a bit too loud as we descended the staircase. It was unsettling, perhaps, but not enough to be painful.

[She follows R-037 obediently, but she has to admit she's concerned as well.]

[animusnpcs]

All of the administrative levels are contaminated with psychoradiation. You're beginning to show signs of psychoradiation poisoning. There are certain areas down here that are more contaminated than other areas.

[The door closes behind them. The shadows seem to dance as if they were water droplets bouncing about. R-037 leads them to a side room, and the lights flick on as soon as she enters. She produces three gas masks and offers them to the group.]

[Arturia takes one obediently and dons it.]

Psychoradiation? How did this happen? Is it because of those chips we placed short circuiting everything?

[sageprincess]

[Zelda takes another and follows suit, albeit a bit more slowly because what the hell is a gas mask.]

Psycho... radi... [And what kind of word is that?] Wait... What about the others?

[There is... kind of a small army assaulting the administrative levels as they speak...]

[animusnpcs]

The power cores--ah, weren't ever really meant to be shut down like that. [She sounds a bit sheepish.] They'll be leaking psychoradiation for--goodness, yea--

The others?

There's others who came down, about forty or so, looking for lab equipment as a few of our number managed to get their hands on some of the fluid in our collars when they tried to avoid their collar checkups. They wanted to analyze it and find out what it is, but we can't do so with equipment made from the film.

[It's impossible to see most of Ruler's face once she puts on the remaining gas mask, but her eyes do widen slightly in what appears to be disbelief.]

Do you mean to say that nobody else made it down here? But there were so many...

There is also the matter of finding the "key" Dax spoke of in his research...

[But her voice is quiet, suddenly worried about nearly everyone who went before them.]

[animusnpcs]

No one's been here, but I don't spend much time walking around the place without reason--but, if they're still down here, they're in danger. Psychoradiation poisons you all the same as it does us.

[She chews on her lower lip.] I can... Try to help you with the collar situation. You'll see next month. That was what he was talking about, actually. The fluid.
