Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.

All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.

Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.

Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patience and sanity.


Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!

• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.

• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.

• They character may have found one of the black doors of Mordor leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.

• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

[ As you roamed in the forest, suddenly you would mysteriously walk right into the castle floor, at the entrance of the castle to be precise—It snows and it's pretty cold, but nothing unbearable. It is night and the sun won't rise, but sparse torches light up the castle.

Much like the water temple, the castle has now been redecorated with many Triforce symbols and dark veils. No monsters are in sight at this point. You may notice there are lot of pots all around, asking to be smashed or thrown away.

Who knows, you may be getting some Rupees? ]

[Um... the castle was no where near the forest. This wasn't right and yet... nothing was right. Nothing made sense. Shion looked around to see if he could see anyone he knew.] Xion? [Breathing... breathing... Not smashing pots because who would do that?]

[No. This made no sense at all. Hairs rose on the back of her neck, nerves twitching beneath her skin, and she's just shy of shuddering. Gaia damn it, she hated the cold and, in a momentary heat of anger, she kicked, destroying one of the nearest pots before storming off.

Reno would know what to do. He'd get the team together, get a status update to see if the others had seen or heard anything unusual. Reno was....gone. A painful stab ached in the center of her chest. Another pot sent flying to smash against the ground.

A few yards away stood hope her grounding force. One of them, anyway. Giving a little wave, Elena closed the gap in hurried steps. At least she still had her recruits.]

Hey, Shion. I'm surprised to see you here. Any sight of Xion?

[Shion had turned, EMR raised, at the sound of smashing pots. When he saw Elena though he relaxed and smiled softly, glad to see a friendly face.] Elena... Xion was with me in the woods, but we got separated...

What on earth...?

[Sheba swallows hard as suddenly she's at the entrance to the castle. Just when she'd started to get used to the creepy forest, too... Clearly there was a reason for being here, though. And she couldn't be alone, could she...? She takes a quick look around the immediate area, her expression one of mixed worry and determination.]

Hey! Who else is here?

Sheba! Is that you?

[It was getting just a little too weird. First being grabbed and thrown into a weird forest, THEN just appearing in... Well, wherever they were. But Shion was trying to remain calm.]

Are you alright?

Shion!

[Sheba is visibly relieved - a familiar face, a familiar friendly face, is more than she was really hoping for. She manages a smile that's more genuine than it would have been if Shion hadn't been someone Sheba already knew.]

I'm fine - what about you? Are you hurt at all?

[Oh why is this happening again. The tower, last month, the Snow Queen taking over his school...can't he have a single day that ends up being normal? Maybe just a little? Wasn't there enough excitement last month?

Maybe Naoya is just reaching a new level of grumpiness. Still, he's not going to complain. He'll deal with this as it comes.]

[John's still followed by his Litwick as he enters the dark palace. His eyes light up as he catches sight of the pots and rushes towards them, hammer at the ready.]

Now that's more like it!

[CRASH!!]

[Screw grass and his inability to cut it. Smash all the pots!!! Collect all the ruppees!!!]

[Dark Pit just rolls his eyes at the snow.]

Lame. Whatever. At least it's not Hades' stuff.

[That doesn't keep Pit from letting out a sneeze; seriously Pittoo, how can you not be cold?]

[And... then he spots the pots.]

Hey, breakable stuff!

[...attention span? What's that? Don't mind him as he starts breaking some things; maybe there are hearts he can give to Lady Palutena later!]

[How did he get here? This place is different from the forest, he notices, but that's where he had been just a second ago.

And...wait, where were his friends?]

Riku? Xion?

[Nowhere to be seen. But at least there were other people here, it looked like...and hopefully, wherever his friends were, they were okay. In the meantime, there isn't much Sora can do but look around...though the cold will start to get to him soon enough. He may be a bit more used to cooler temperatures now, but they still bother him - he is from an island, after all.

[Understatement of the century, but hey... at least there's a familiar face? Though he's clueless as to why so many pots, too though his inner gamer is muttering SMASH ALL THE THINGS.]

[He turns around when he hears Yu, smiling a little. At least there was one familiar face around.]

Yeah, I guess you're right.

[They do look very smashable...]

I hope they're okay...and, um, where are we, anyway?

[... this was not the forest. Which really was a blindingly obvious observation, but considering she'd been in the forest not ten seconds ago and there was something like sixty floors between the forest and this one? The fact she was suddenly here seemed a touch unusual. It didn't help that she recognized this floor too, although the castle looked quite a bit different this time... considering the last time she'd been here had resulted in the single most dangerous fight she'd been in since coming to the Tower, it went without saying she was pretty much perpetually on guard.

That said, why did it look so much different? At least there were other people around, and maybe some of them would have some idea what was going on. Not to mention there was safety in numbers, and numbers they had.]

This... isn't the forest. [Way to state the obvious, Amelia.]

[Eh? This was weird? Chung could swear he was in the forest but a moment ago. Wait, where was everyone?

He quickly reloaded his cannon and got into a siege poistion before shouting.]

RENA!! RAVEN!! Are you guys here?? Can you hear me??

[ What the hell is this? Why is there a castle? She clearly wasn't doing anything related to this earlier. Ishtar frowned as she drew Sidia. ]

I'm tired of this place playing games with me. Seriously.

[ She sort of narrowed her eyes as she started to walk cautiously towards the castle some more, not even certain of what she was doing anymore. ]

[Don't know who you are, Ishtar, but have another female who is none too pleased to be in this situation as well. Arms folded, she's busy staring up at the building, looking for something - anything - to provide another means of entrance.

One did not just walk into Mordor the Palace of Darkness.

Hearing the woman's gripe as she walked past, Elena gave a little nod, eyes not moving from the building.]

....I doubt they'll ever get tired of playing with us, though. Which means we have to find ways to make it less entertaining to play.

[ Ishtar turned towards the girl giving her a brief look before speaking to her. She clearly was not in a happy mood, but it was at least a little better to have someone rather than being by herself for most of the time here. She supposed it would be best to do what she could to gather allies. ]

....Yea you got that right. I'm just not in the mood for this kind of stuff, not like they would care but still.

This place would make my head hurt if I wasn't so used to shape-shifting places already...

[The guardian rushes up to her.]

[Upon hearing the familiar voice again, she sighs in relief; she almost thought she lost him when she was suddenly transported here.]

Mn, I'm fine, Chung. Just... this place is as bad as the Feita Temple.

[Why was she even in front of a castle now, last time she checked it was still trees. And even more trees.]
