Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.

All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.

Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.

Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patience and sanity.


Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!

• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.

• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.

• They character may have found one of the black doors of Mordor leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.

• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

The Palace of Darkness (Floors 08 and 73) || Courage Dungeon || Exploration

[ The first room of the palace is a large one. No puzzles or trap in sight, however there are three doors, each against a wall of the room. They are closed but doesn't look locked— Splitting up may be a good idea. Next to each doors there are two treasure chests.

And plenty of pots. Maybe they hide useful things. ]

[Feferi hadn't really spent a lot of time waiting outside the castle once she'd seen its entrance. She recognized the sigil that had been on the curtains outside from Zelda's dress, and so it wasn't a major leap to think that this was related - and that she might be in trouble. Well, Feferi wasn't the kind to just let someone stay in trouble like that, though she didn't stray too far from any of the other groups. She was more than welcome to company, if anyone wanted, and she thought that might be a pretty good idea, personally.]

[Time to get down to business. With no obvious way out and something quite evil going on, that meant there was only one thing to do. Start exploring and figure out how to either get out of here or put a stop to it. There's a certain discipline to the way the young soldier carries herself as she approaches the strange looking girl, armored boots echoing through the front hall of the castle. As unusual as Feferi might look to her, if she's another resident of the tower? Chances are she's an ally right now. And it simply stands to reason their odds of survival are better with a group rather than going it alone.]

Excuse me, miss! I think it's dangerous to go alone take this so I think it'd be better if we stuck together. Would it be alright if I came with you? [And hey, meeting potential new allies in the middle of exceedingly dangerous situations was how she'd made... honestly just about every friend since joining the army, really.]

[Feferi turned around when she heard the voice. It really wasn't a good idea to go into anything like this alone, and she should have known that all along. The girl sounded friendly, and anyone who could keep a positive attitude in a situation like this was a friend she was glad to make. So she smiled and nodded, extending her free hand - the other one holding her weapon, a long double-ended trident.]

My name's Amelia, it's nice to meet you too! That's a neat weapon you've got, I bet you probably know how to use it huh?

[With a smile she extended a hand as well, giving Feferi's hand a firm shake before turning her attention back to the rest of the room. Although her hands were empty at the moment there was a rather well crafted silver sword on her belt and a slightly unusual looking black axe across her back.]

It looks like there's three ways to go, and the door to the left looks covered... which way should we go? And what do you think is in those chests?

[So standing around looking terrified was going to get him nowhere, so he walked into the castle looking around for any danger. He wasn't sure about doing this alone, he could fight but if this was Ganondorf as Chaos had said... then he was up against something far more powerful than he could begin to fight alone.

He worried about Xion, hopefully she was alright... And had found people to help her. She was probably a better fighter than Shion himself but she was injured...

He looked around for people, and stepped towards the left door. He doesn't open the chests, because they obviously belonged to someone and he shouldn't.]

[ Beyond the left door is a corridor-- Lengthy, so lengthy you may not see the end of it. The same is true for all three doors, could an illusion spell have lengthened the corridors?

It may be better not to go alone. ]

[He looks around, if there is anyone else who wishes to come with him he will be glad of it. But if not he is going to set off down the ridiculously long corridor, looking around fearfully.]

[ In the corridors there are no apparent danger-- However after a minute or so walking Shion will spot a couple ReDead standing scarcely in the corridor and moaning in apparent pain. They won't do any move to attack Shion and appear to do nothing as long as they are left alone.

Would Shion happen to make eye contact with one of them though or would he try to attack them, the ReDead would shriek, this very shriek paralyzing him and anyone who happen to hear it for ten seconds. And during these ten second the ReDead would attempt to eat Shion's life energy.

... And probably his body in the process. Thankfully enough, they're pretty slow. ]

[He had been ripped from the cafeteria, instantaneously appearing in the forest with no knowledge of what was happening. It wasn't enough that he had appeared in the tower, plucked up from home without any sort of consent. Now he was some where completely different from the cold confines of his room in the tower.

However, Luffy wasn't any where close to being an average young man. The sudden appearance of a new surrounding set his eyes ablaze with curiousity.

A long plume of dust follows behind him as he runs in to the Palace without some much as a hint of worry or caution. Coming in to the first room, Luffy bobs his head back and forth like a humming bird, energetic and wild with his thirst for adventure.]

"Coolcoolcoolcool SUPER COOL!! Whoa! This place is HUUUUUUGE!"

[He dart over to the treasure chests, looking them over one by one to inspect whether or not they'll open without a key.]

"Come on! A pirate has to get treasure!"

[ The chest can all be opened! If he opens the first one a bright light comes out from the chest...

You got the Fake Hero Clothes!
These tunics are pale imitation of the clothes the Legendary Heroes once wore! Unfortunately, they serve no purpose.

They look uncomfortably warm as if the one who made them had hatred at heart while working on them. They may make you warmer in this cold weather! There as six such tunics in the chest. ]

"WOW! Cool!"

[Luffy happily rummages through the numerous tunics, pulling out a bright red tunic and hat from the chest.

A few moments later, with his Straw Hat tied securely around his neck, Luffy is now decked in the proper clothing needed to fit in (though he's totally unaware of the connection).]

"Ah! Nice and toasty! Ok. Where to first?"

[Luffy looks about the room before finding a twig that had some one been brought indoors. Taking the twig, he tosses it in to the air, watching as it falls to the ground. The direction in which the twig points is his destination.]

"The left door! Let's go!"

Oh, wow? You have found something in there? That's pretty neat!

[Did Elena ever mention that she wasn't particularly fond of puzzles. Challenges were one thing, but those stupid ring challenges that Rude gave her for Christmas one year nearly drove her crazy.

She took roughly three minutes to assess the room and its dangerous before moving inward, eyes going straight to the chests. Where others had walked right past them, Elena wasn't about to miss an opportunity to obtain any items that might help her in this crazy dungeon. Kneeling at the first one, she gave the lid a gentle nudge before pushing the opening wide.]

....Oh, please let it be more bullets....

[ A bright light comes out from the chest as you open it...

These ten arrows can be used to attack enemies and solve traps. Use them with your bow to pierce the evil with the light of justice!

... Unfortunately you do not have a bow. And that's a little bit sad. ]

[Elena just stares into the chest, blinking. Maybe it was because she actually voiced what she wanted that she was given this pitiful bounty. Bending over, she lifted the ten arrows out of their resting place, turning them one way and then another. That's when the second chest catches her eye.]

....Ah-ha..

[Because clearly the second chest ought to obtain the bow. Its only common logic.

......Right?]

Sheba and Shion Uzuki go exploring! Tag speed will pick up when I'm not stupidbusy with school. OTL

[Sheba didn't really want to explore this place all by herself, which was part of the reason she was so glad she'd run into Shion at the entrance. Since she'd already worked together with her once before and knew that she was reliable, she was starting to feel a little better about this whole thing.

She glances around the room, looking at the doors and then letting her gaze wander to the chests and the pots. The chests could be avoided - how many times had she opened a chest on Weyard, only to have it turn out to be a Mimic? Too many. She does approach the pots, though, kneeling down at each one to peek into them and see if there's anything in them. Breaking pots isn't a thing in her video game.]

Do any of the doors look promising to you, Shion?

[Luckily, breaking existed in Shion's game. She swung her weapon around, and smashed two of the pots with a short flash of light. She started to answer Sheba, then stopped herself quickly. She almost made a little joke about not taking the right door.

But after what happened... It would probably be best to forget that.]

Maybe we should go straight for the middle this time?

[ When Shion smashed two of the pots, a Green Rupee came from one of the smashed pots and a Blue Rupee came out from the other.

Blue Rupees are worth five Rupees! ]

[Oh. Treasure chests! Chung chooses one of the doors and goes about opening the two chests beside it.]

[Peeking over her friend's short stature, she managed to take sneak a look at the contents of the chest.]

Mn, clothes? Pretty strange for a treasure chest to have that and nothing else.

[Oh well. She just goes ahead and opens the other chest.]

Team of Fashionably Late Protagonists, goooo...

[...Okay, even after trying to ignore the niiiice, breakable pots while talking to Sora, it was just getting to be far too tempting. So while Sora is being Sora, he's just staring at one before noticing the other pots and chests.

Thee art thou art thee stick thee hand into the tv smash one of the shiny do it do it do it--

...Okay, yeah. Going to smash one of the former, now does he get a shiny thing.]

[Well, for the moment, Sora being Sora isn't all that different from Yu being Yu; he's looking at one of the pots, trying to figure out what they might be for. Was there something inside? Or were they just decoration, or...?

That's when he hears a crash, and turns around to see Yu smashing one of the other pots nearby.

Oh, good! He wasn't the only one thinking about trying that.

In a flash of bright light Sora summons his Keyblade (Oblivion, now, thanks to the keychain Riku gave him awhile back) and, in the three hit combo, smashes the pot he was looking at before.

This totally counts as exploring, right?]

The pots drop things, too?
