[Massive Infiltration Plot] || [Semi-Open]

Setting: The Cafeteria, then the Elevator's Shaft and finally the Administrative Floors. The 29th of July, in the morning.
Format: Action most likely.

Summary: A month ago Ganondorf planned an infiltration to go and pay a visit to Riki's floor-- Given what has happened these last weeks, the 'Evil Alliance' has accepted to allow Enoch and the people he gathered to use the infiltration in order to do their own thing. Namely, retrieve scientific instruments from Jason's laboratory, so as to study the Collar Fluid. The infiltration will begin on the 1st floor, the Cafeteria.

The first thread is a traditional mingle thread, happening before the infiltration and briefing begin; anyone can tag into it. The second thread is a quick briefing before the infiltration starts, where Enoch and Ganondorf will explain to everyone what to do and what to expect in case they don't already know. Then there are the seven group threads, one for each individual team infiltrating.

Warnings: Administrative floors, danger, death, horror. Anyone tagging here is probably going to die, or at the very least meet with a terrible fate.

"They're still gone." He spoke, as it's easier to convey it with words right now in the dimness. While his Personas was still with him, he recognised the familiar state of power loss. He slowly move his leg, trying to untangle it from the cables and withholding his wince at the pain.

He stopped when he heard Kain's words. "Let's stay still until he can go over."

A low, eerie sort of howling drifts through the elevator. It might be the wind, except there isn't any in the elevator shaft. It sounds quite far away, though.

"Definitely gone. It's all yours, man." Zett keeps himself still, awaiting Kain's jump.

"If my powers - were still here - I wouldn't have shifted forms," Solas admits, her tone halted because of the pain. She manages to untangle herself - mostly. It still hurts like hell, though.

"So yeah, they're gone...If there's anything that can be done without them, though, then - go ahead."

Nesir eyed the gap and frowned at the howling. "We probably do no be wanting to stay here, so yes be trying to be opening one."

That howling was not the least bit encouraging. Time to hurry up. "Hold steady, then."

Receiving confirmation from the others, he twisted himself along the cable that he clung to, pulled himself towards the nearest elevator door, then let himself drop carefully onto that narrow ledge. Thank goodness he still had the salvaged blade with him... he would rather not have to have used the Mythgraven Blade for such crude work as this. He attempted to wedge it between the space in the doors to pry them open.

The blade separates the doors slowly--the seal is fairly tight, though not enough to prevent the action from working. Light filters out into the elevator shaft, though the door isn't open enough to reveal anything specific about the location.

The howling grows louder, and is soon joined by more voices.

"What can you be seeing?" She called across, frowning as the howling got louder. And the voices... She looked around, trying to see in the darkness.

The howling and voices was slowly unsettling him. Minato was used to hearing voices, but it's all in intent and where they came from.

"Is it safe?"

[ajealouswind]

"Nff... I can see light!" And he would very much like to see more of it. Leaning his shoulder against the door and trying to get as much leverage as possible, he continues to pry. And if it gets wide enough to get fingers through without risking snapping them off, he'll do that and pull properly.

"Safe?" He doesn't reply immediately, his breath and efforts mostly devoted to prying open that door. "...safer than here, I'd wager!"

Nesir nodded, anything had to be safer than hanging precariously in an elevator shaft listening to the sound of howling. "Should we all be jumping over?"

"Once he gets it open we will." There's not enough space right now after all.

The door opens to what appears to be a hospital room--a large ward, with multiple empty beds and various unhooked machines and monitors.

The howling is joined by the sound of scraping and clawing, like a multitude of creatures is climbing up the elevator shaft.

"Now! Move now!" And without wasting a moment, Kain flung himself through the doors. Beds could be harmful, machines could be harmful... but those clattering, clawing things were definitely harmful. Better out in the open than in there.

Nesir nodded once at the demon and frowned as the howling turned into scraping. "Let's be going." She nodded at Kain's words and plunged herself deep into the emptiness. It woulg give her more accuracy.

She held the cable and pressed her feet up against the wall before leaping off as if the side of the elevator was a spring board, aiming straight at the open door.

Minato tried to pull himself up and give himself some extra height for the plunge. Unfortunately, with one of his arms dislocated from his shoulder and the pain he's feeling - partially numbed by the rush of adrenaline - it's rather difficult for him.

Without a care for his pride, he called out to his group.

"Help!"

He heard Minato's cry for help, and stopped himself in his flight from the elevator shaft. A hand snapped out and caught the edge of the doorway, to help halt his momentum. So they couldn't all make it out themselves. He hadn't even thought to question that the could, or worry that the others would make it or not.

Kain felt a brief bit of shame, but didn't dwell. There was no time for that. He paused to let Nesir pass and to assess the layout of the cables, sheathed the salvaged sword he carried, and then was right back in there, crawling along to where Minato hung.

"Here!" And once close enough, if there's enough time to get close enough, he'd offer a hand. If he were too busy clinging to be able to grasp it? He'd reach out and grasp instead.

Hundreds of dark, shifting creatures with thousands of eyes crawl up through the elevator shaft. They pass through anyone still inside it without incident, though, and in fact seem not to notice anyone they pass through or by at all. They're gone as quickly as they appeared.

Using his free, thankfully intact arm, Minato grabbed for Kain's hand and allowed himself to get pulled up. His tangled leg shook free, making it easier for them to get out of the elevator shaft.

...Only for the creatures to seemingly pass them by without incident. But his heart was still beating fast from the adrenaline and desire to avoid death.

"Thanks."

Zett is quick and accurate when he jumps: even for a creature with wings, he only has them some of the time, so he's had a long time to practice jumping.

"Let's hurry."

As everyone lands in the hospital ward, the lights flick on. This ward is pristine and well-maintained; it's obviously in use, although it's empty now. There's a meter on the wall that reads PR 2.

Nesir let Kain do the catching, maybe she should have figured that someone injured wouldn't be able to jump, but she hadn't and so focused instead on the eye creatures climbing up the shaft.

"Well that did be being creepy." She began to look around the room carefully.

"A little creepy."

Without his powers, Minato has his human limitations. His training couldn't match up to Kain's level, and really, his state made it difficult to escape without help.

Once they're safe for the time being, he lightly place a hand over his dislocated shoulder. Ouch, he need to set this back into place.

"...Who knows how to set a dislocated shoulder back?"

Nesir turned back to Minato and walked over to him. "I do be knowing how to be." She waited to make sure he was alright with her doing it before touching him, she had no wish to be stabbed by someone who was supposed to be an ally.

Minato nodded, granting her permission to set it back. Necessity override any of his possible discomfort, especially when they need to get going.

He can feel his connection with his Personas restored already, so it was a simple matter of healing himself and others. Just after his arm was back in place.
