Characters: Everyone ever.
Setting: Floor 38- On Christmas Eve and Christmas.
Format: Action or prose, whichever format you prefer.
Summary: CHRISTMAS PARTY! Now that the Jason!Flu is finally over, all the characters can celebrate Christmas in peace (nearly?) and eat some acceptable food that was cooked by the volunteers. The 38th floor is, as usual, the floor where the party happens and has been entirely decorated for Christmas. The Christmas Party will be open for Christmas Eve and the entirety of Christmas. For characters who wouldn't check this floor, the party has been advertised on the network.

As is usual with these party logs, it's free game! Feel free to post a mingle thread for your character as they spend time in the party or an activity (singing, dancing? playing game? gift giving? anything). Add to that, you're free to start as many threads as you want, be they open or closed! Please put in the header your character's name or the activity's name. If a prompt is closed, then please make sure to write it in the header too!

The lounge on the 38th floor has been entirely decorated with ribbons, tinsels, Christmas balls and many other things- All hand-made of course. The first thing that can probably be noticed upon entering is the majestic Christmas Tree sitting near the entrance, decorated as well and with wrapped boxes at its feet. There are a lot of empty spaces in the room for people to dance if so they wish as well as empty tables to organize games or sit down, in short everything needed to run an activity. Oh, and there is mistletoe hung at the floor's entrances. Nothing bad really.

Most important there is a lot of food in here, placed on a couple tables. Most of that food comes from the tower's restaurant-- Someone must have done a lot of work for the tower these last days. At least here and now you don't have to risk a limb to get some quality food. Aside from the restaurant food there are also cakes, yule logs as well as many cooked meats and fruits.

Last but not least, this floor isn't as cold here as the rest of the tower. There are a total of what appears to be four fireplaces (hand-made as all the other decorations) in the room, one against each of the walls with fires lit within them. Of course these are not exactly normal fires and a lot of resources and energy has been spent to make them so they will last for the entirety of the party- After this they will be unusable, but at least until then they will keep the room at a normal temperature.

That's right... even though it wasn't that better back in my home, for some... reasons.

[ Actually she can't choose what's better, she's screwed either way. ]

[... So she's one of those, then. The waning smile on her lips is dragged back.]

I haven't heard about all experiences yet, but... I know.

[ ... ] Are you from a complicated world, too?

There are so many stories that most of us never will hear, I think.

[Her pause is a short one, though also one that probably answers the question on its own.] You could say that, yes.

[idolizer]

[ "... Would you rather you went back to that place?"... is what she'd like to ask, but her mind snaps back to the current situation. She's supposed to make the other girl enjoy the party, not make serious discussions about horrible places they were in.

She shakes her head briefly, shrugging those thoughts again. Subject shift is a go. ]

So, is there something you want to do right now? We could dance together and forget about these sad things if you'd like.

[lethechained]

[There are too many sad things to talk about for them to be avoided entirely, it always seems. Nevertheless, Naminé is quick accept the subject change, an apologetic but knowing smile on her lips at that head shake. She's had to do much the same thing herself, before.]

Mm-- I think I'd really like that. I'm not much of a dancer, but-- it's fun, I think. [With the right company, anyway; she's always done such things with friends, never alone. Acquaintances are close enough, right?]

[idolizer]

I can teach you! We don't have to do complicated moves, just shifting our feet around is enough.

[ She then extends her hand towards Naminè, for the girl to take if she wanted. ] There's room to dance over there, shall we go?

[lethechained]

If you're sure you don't mind...!

[There is a bit of a pause, but it's not a long one and Naminé's reaching out to place her hand in the offered one soon enough.] Yes, let's.

[idolizer]

Perfect.

[ With a grin, she pulls Naminé along for the dance, swinging along slightly. ]

[lethechained]

[Naminé's a bit clumsy at first, but she follows the other girl with little hesitation, a smile on her face. Uncertain where to start though she is, she does her best to keep up.]

[idolizer]

So? You having fun now?

[ She'll ask after a while of dancing and overall laughing at their goofiness. ]

[lethechained]

[Even before she answers, what she'll say is probably obvious in her expression.]

Of course! I feel very silly.

[In a good way, apparently.]

[idolizer]

[ Good, she wanted to confirm it. And sooo they'll probably go at it until one of them is exhausted. But it was worth it, right? ]

[lethechained]

[Naminé's probably more likely to tire, but she's also not likely to mention it if she can avoid it. It does seem to have been worth it, if her smile is any indication.]

[idolizer]

[ Ok she's not going to work Naminé up to exhaustion, so when she notes that the girl is tired, she'll stop- though still holding her hand. ]

Hey, if this wasn't fun then I wouldn't know what else we could do.

[lethechained]

Don't worry! It was fun...!

[Just give her some time to catch her breath, hoo.]
