Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.

All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.

Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.

Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patience and sanity.


Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!

• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.

• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.

• They character may have found one of the black doors of Mordor leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.

• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

She didn't like this. She didn't like this at all. She still didn't really understand how she'd even gotten there - one minute she'd been cleaning graves and the next, she'd been staring at a tree that seemed to scream back at her - and there was no way to leave that she'd found. The stairs were visible but blocked. Why were they trapped here?

She'd already gotten more practice than she cared to fighting one-handed

At least being in the tower for a year meant that she was used to being hungry, by now, and the gnawing in her stomach was merely a minor distraction rather than debilitating. Far moreso was the fog, which at least didn't seem to be like that other fog from a few days ago, though it still made her wish she had the glasses Teddie had given her.

She'd managed to find a bit of peace from the Tower's monsters, curled up under a tree with her arms wrapped protectively around her knees. She could probably use some company, glancing around at anybody that happened to be nearby, but if she went looking for any others she knew she might run into monsters as well and she was too tired to deal with them at the moment.

Shion didn't like this anymore. Alright he hadn't liked it when he had first arrived but after hours of wandering...

He found Xion. And was at her side in moments. "Xion. You're here too, are you alright?"

Xion was more than happy to see a familiar face and as soon as Shion was at her side, she hugged him tightly.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine," she stammered. Just a little shaken and not feeling too great because of the fog. but nothing bad otherwise. "Do you know what's going on?"

He hugs her back tightly and shook his head, "No, not yet. Except we're trapped." He links his hand in hers, feeling a lot calmer than he had done.

Feeling his hand in hers, she was glad she still had one good hand to do this with. It really was reassuring, him being there with her. They still had each other, at least...

She leaned back, putting her back against the tree again. "There's got to be a way out of here. I've tried a corridor but it doesn't go anywhere."

He worried about her being injured and here, sitting closer to her as if that would protect her from anything that happened. He blinked at her... not even her corridors worked...

"Chaos said it felt like Ganondorf's magic, similar to what he felt in the wedding... I'm not sure how he knows that..."

Yeah, Xion; guess who else suddenly ended up hijacked while just innocently heading down to eat lunch? Nanako hesitantly approached the familiar person, looking as small and scared as she felt.

"You're... Xion?" she asked softly.

Xion lifted her head a bit at the sound of a somewhat familiar voice. Who...? Oh... right. She knew this girl.

"Yeah," she said, smiling softly, "You're Yu's sister, right?" Guh, she's trying to remember her name but it's been so long and so much has happened...

"Mmhmm," Nanako replied, before glancing around at the creepy scenery around them. This place was scary... and she didn't know where her brother was, nor did he have a weapon of her own or a persona. She was completely helpless in this place.

"Have you seen onii-chan?"

Onii-chan? Was... was she talking about Yu? She's never heard that word before...

She shook her head. "No... not yet," she said sadly. This... had to be pretty scary for her. She was so much littler than Xion was. "Maybe we could go look for him together?"

She was well aware that she probably wasn't an ideal protector with her hand as it was, but... if she didn't Nanako might just go wandering off alone, and a poor protector was better than none, at least?

Nanako looked worried at that; if her brother wasn't around, the… she shuddered, clutching her hands close to her chest. Yu had come to her rescue the last time, so… what would happen if he wasn't even there? She was already scared as it was from how she entered this creepy place…

At the suggestion they look for him, Nanako gave a nod, running behind Xion and clinging to her elbow.

[Riku finds her a few minutes after his arrival in the forest, and when he spots her by the tree, he'll wander over with a frown. Despite the familiar face, he keeps his Keyblade gripped in one hand on the off chance that any monsters spring up unexpectedly.

Who knows what they're really up against? Besides, she looks pretty exhausted right now.]

[Xion lifts her head, some of the tension clearing at the sight of a familiar face]

Hey.

[She bites her lip, a little worriedly]

You're here too?

Afraid so.

[Hopefully she won't mind if he slips under the tree too, because he's heading just a little bit closer now.]

Wish I knew what was going on... This doesn't seem like something the admins would pull out of the blue.

Sora wasn't sure how he had gotten there, either...okay, so he knew how, but where the giant hand that had somehow dragged him to the Forest Floor had come from was still a mystery. Why the floor looked so much different than normal was a big question, too. He had no idea what was going on, but it didn't give him a good feeling at all. Then again, strange things in this place rarely ever did.

Though he had mostly been training by himself lately, he was grateful for what practice he had gotten. He was doing his best to avoid the monsters, but there were a lot of them, and they were strong, too. Still, he wasn't doing too bad, considering.

He's keeping an eye out when he spots a someone by one of the trees, someone familiar...Xion! Immediately he heads her way, worried about her being all alone in a place like this.

"Hey, Xion." he asked, sitting down right next to her when he gets close enough. "Need some company?"
