Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.

All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.

Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.

Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patience and sanity.


Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!

• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.

• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.

• They character may have found one of the black doors of Mordor leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.

• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

Your life energy is slightly replenished. You feel a bit better!

... It's a monster bloody heart. It looks three weeks old. Ewwww.
Attached to it is a note, being held in place via a scalpel that's been shoved through it and into the heart. It's stained with red-brown dryed blood, and the text is written in an almost illegible scrawl.

If you are ever unfaithful to me again, I will do this to you, und I will enjoy every minute of it. Is that clear?

[Tohko quickly picked up the heart, read the note that the scalpel held, ripped the note off and ate it before tossing the heart back into the chest and washing her hands in the pool. That was..disgusting. Was Ganon having a relationship with Edward and someone else? It was possible.

Sighing, Tohko chose to open up the red chest this time.]

[Tohko will hear Richtofen's voice, though she won't be able to pinpoint where the voice is coming from, nor will she see him anywhere in the vicinity.]

Is that-? Oh. O-oh. Ignore that! I said, ignore that note, you sw- Oh, you ate it.

[And Tohko will jump when she hears Edward's voice, drawing her dagger and looking like someone just found her doing something she shouldn't have.

Oh shit.]

Edward?! You saw me..yes..I did..and it tasted terrible! However..I won't tell anyone about your secret love if you do two things: Don't tell anyone what you saw and..answer this question for me.

Who is Ganon's secret lover? Sephiroth?

[You've distracted her from opening the red chest, at least.]

[Richtofen's voice will ring out so loudly throughout the area that it echoes off the walls.]

Forget you saw that! Forget you read it! Ganon has no secret lover, I have no secret love, und that note is a forgery! [He makes a sound not unlike a muffled sob, and he sniffles overdramatically.] A very embarrassing forgery!

[Tohko is very familiar with dramatics, Edward, thanks to Chia. Oba Yozo's got you used to acting.]

Edward..the style is all yours. You can't deny what you wrote. Why did you write it? What's going on?

..And don't worry. I'm not going to tell anyone.

[Richtofen can be heard sputtering for a moment, and, though he's nowhere to be seen, he sounds indignant.

Finally, he shouts.]

That is none of your concern!

[The heart in the chest explodes. It's not a damaging explosion, but it will leave chunks of monster heart everywhere.]

[Tohko would cry out in surprise as the monster heart exploded, but thankfully, she was far away enough that it didn't pelt her.

Thank goodness.]

Fine then. I won't force you to tell me. However, as long as you don't tell anyone what you saw here, I won't tell anyone what you wrote!

[But she is now shipping you with Ganon, Edward. And she now ships Ganon with Sephiroth as his secret lover. No wonder the guy is such a jerk with god-like delusions.

Tohko sighed and opened up the red chest.]

[ Another bright light comes from this one...

You got the Cheap Zora Tunics!
These blue clothes are made in a special fabric that allows you to breath underwater. Wear them and you won't drown! ...At least for a couple minutes. Wearing them makes you vulnerable to Fire and Ice attacks.

It looks very uncomfortable as if the one who made them had no idea what he was supposed to do. After five minutes underwater the tunics's effects stop working. There are three Cheap Zora Tunics. ]

[Tohko looked over the tunic and sighed. Whoever made this was about as skilled as she was with making complex clothes. She tossed it over her shoulder before opening the blue chest. Maybe Kazumi could alter it later.

Hopefully Ganon stored something useful in these treasure chests.]

[ And again a bright light comes out from this chest...

You got a Rupee!
This green jewel is the currency in the world of Hyrule. Lucky you! Too bad you cannot spend it in a shop!

... When you picked it up, the Rupee immediately grew teeth, tried to bite you and vanished. You realize you have lost the Cheap Zora Tunics!
This taught you to be wiser when faced with closed chests in a hostile environment. ]

[Thankfully, the Rupee didn't bite Tohko, but it did manage to tear the tunic to ribbons. Tohko sighed to herself and didn't bother to gather the pieces.

Lesson learned: Tuck things under your arm next time to keep a better hold on it.

Hopefully the black chest would hold a key..or something useful. Tohko opened it, drawing her dagger.]

[ And for the final time a bright light comes out from the chest...

You got a Bombchu!
This mobile explosive can crawl along walls and deliver explosive power to areas out of reach.

... It appears that upon opening the chest, the Bombchu got activated. It will explode within ten seconds and follow you no matter where you go! Be careful, this variant of the Bombchu is faster than most human!

The chests close back to their original state. Even if you survive this, you won't be able to open them again.

This taught you nothing because you are dumb. ]

[Well, this was horrible. As soon as that thing started to chase Tohko, she jumped into the swimming pool and tried to escape. She didn't know if the device would follow her or not..but hopefully it wouldn't.

..Sadly, it did, as she could hear a small explosion behind her a few minutes later. It burnt her back, and she cried out in pain..but she would live. Fighting back the pain, Tohko climbed out of the swimming pool and sighed. She tried to open up the treasure chest again, and when she found that it didn't, she chose a different path. She stepped on the switch in the far left corner of the pool.]

[ When she stepped on the switch, a faint distant noise could be heard but nothing happened. As soon as she would step off, the switch would go back to its original position. That's a little bit sad.

Maybe all the switches have to be activated at once? Approaching other people working on the switches already may be a good idea. ]

[It might have been a good idea..but Tohko already had one in mind. Thinking, she started to push the green chest. If it could be pushed, she would direct it onto the switch.]

[ The chests won't move, no amount of physical strength or magical power will have them move.

Nice idea though! ]

[See, Tohko isn't stupid. All the time.

However, when she saw that it couldn't be moved, she sighed and tried something else. Even though it was now soggy and slightly ripped, she had come into this place with a book under her arm. Maybe it could hold down the switch. Tohko placed it on there and waited to see if the weight would be enough.]

[ The book won't be heavy enough to work on the switch. ]

[Tohko sighed and picked up the book. It looked like she would have to get a few other people to help..or help the others.

Either way you phrased it, it was still the same thing.]

[Tohko won't see whoever the second voice is either, but there is definitely someone else laughing at this situation. A+, Ganondorf. Would laugh again.]
