Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.

All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.

Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.

Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patience and sanity.


Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!

• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.

• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.

• They character may have found one of the black doors of Mordor leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.

• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

[In the back of his mind, chaos sighed.]

Shion, he may have done terrible things to you..but do not lose yourself to anger or despair.

Not to me. [Breathing, breathing. Shion calmed down though Ganondorf's words still echoed in the back of his mind.

No one shall be sadder than you it had felt like a curse, and one that was coming true.]

He hurt my friends.

[But Chaos was right, he couldn't lose to anger, not right now. Not when things were like this]

[chaos knew how painful it was when others hurt the ones you cared about. After all..Wilhelm had managed to get Jesus and a few other Apostles killed.

To better calm Shion down, he tried to put a hand on the boy's shoulder.]

..I am sorry to hear that. However, you shall be able to settle your fight with him when you see him. Until then, you must keep moving.

[He nodded, not that he had any chance in being able to defeat Ganondorf. It wasn't so much a fight as a one sided slaughter where Shion was the one slaughtered, and yet couldn't stay away.

But he nodded, he had to keep moving. He couldn't stop.] I know. We must keep moving.

[And nor could chaos stop at this point either. He still had people he wanted to protect. He still loved humanity.]

That we must.

Where should we go then? I take it the obvious exits are blocked. [His voice is still a little shakey but he is calming down, starting to think again]

It would appear so. I do not think we have any control over where we end up. Until Ganon is defeated, he shall telelport us around as he wishes and watch us struggle. It is probably best, at this point, to just head forward and see if we can seek him out.

[He has experience in being teleported around by Ganondorf, at least he isn't covered in blood this time.] Alright...

[And chaos was a natural teleporter, due to what he was. Smiling, he started walking forward, hoping that Shion would keep up.]

[Shion keeps up easily, even if training with Reno hadn't completely sorted out all his issues, it had at least made him much fitter than he had been.

He kept looking around, ready for whatever this world could throw at him.]

[Ah, good. So he was managing to keep up. chaos readied his hands as they walked. He didn't have to see to find out where things were most of the time, but it did help. People who came off as dark would easily be able to hide some of their essence in the fog.]

[Shion on the other hand had to rely on his eyes, and was peering into the fog fearfully] I've never known anyone to be able to change parts of this place so absolutely before. [It made him slightly... terrified of Ganondorf's power]

I have known a few people like this before..however, they were rare. You did not see them or their handiwork often.

I meant. [Another deep breath] The power of those is so absolute, it is difficult to imagine a power that can change what they have created.

[At that, chaos managed a small smile.]

It may be difficult, but it is not impossible. Don't worry. I have seen things like this be changed before. There is always a greater power and a third option.

Here? In the tower? [This is important Chaos, for research.

But his words stirred something in Shion, because he was right, and it was something Shion believed in strongly.]

There's always a middle way.

I have not been in the Tower long enough to properly say one way or another, sadly. However, I have dealt with similar things in my universe, and other people that I have met have beat back similar things in their own universes.

[chaos and Shion had something in common then. Due to what he was, chaos was the type to seek out third options or a better path if it was available.]

No I meant... [He gives up explaining, there's more important things to do, like work out where they are and how to get out of here and trying to explain his worries just makes them worse.]

Now we just need to find it...

[chaos did want Shion to speak about his worries so that he could help, but he didn't press. It was his choice. If he did not want to speak about it, then chaos would respect that.]

It may be hidden from view, but I am sure that we shall find it eventually, and walk on it too, even though that may prove difficult as well.
