Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.

All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.

Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.

Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patience and sanity.


Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!

• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.

• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.

• They character may have found one of the black doors of Mordor leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.

• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

[While others fussed with chests, she turned towards the group and called out to those she actually knew. Perhaps one of them would come to take hold of the other switches.]

[Xue didn't recognize any of the others around, at least not at first glance so she took that time to explore the area around the other switches to check for traps. There were many benefits to being a rogue, one of them being a perfect adventurer's friend when dealing with trap filled dungeons.]

[Hei was already back at the chests with Chloe, curious with her idea.]

[Hidetoshi is right behind him, similarly curious.]

[As soon as she could see four others looking at the switches, Chloe motioned for all of them to try and take hold of a switch and waited to verify that everyone would pull when she did a three count.

She wasn't much of a shouter, but she could make her intentions clear with hand signals at least.]

[ If they were to all activate the switches at once, they would hear a different noise than before, as if a mechanism activated somewhere in the distance.

A noise then would come from the pool and roughly a third of its water would be evacuated, lowering the water level to that of the doors that can be seen within the swimming pool. The darkness covering these two doors disappear as well.

These new rooms can now be accessed. ]

The Door on the Right

[She nodded to the strange looking creature and then looked at the others.]

Two pathways. Two teams. It seems only fair. I'll take the right path. Those with me may feel free to come along.

[And without further ceremony, she dropped down easily to the bottom of the pool and made her way towards the door on the right...]

[ The door on the left side would lead into the ocean floor, starting on the beach. It was night and everything looked dark, the only source of light being the bright full moon at the horizon. The sand and the water even were black--

There was platform near the beach where could be found a boat fitting a maximum of five persons, with a grappling hook and a small canon at its back.

At times, light ray of lights could be seen emanating from specific location in the ocean, maybe this should be checked? ]

[She made her way along the coast, pausing near the planks to crouch and look around the sandy beach for anything else of note before squinting and trying to see the source of those rays. It was something to do while she waited for others.]

[ The source of the rays seemed to come from deep in the water-- But nothing else was to see.

It was very quiet, maybe even too quiet. ]

The Door on the Left

[Hidetoshi isn't very agile but the pool isn't terribly deep so he can couch right by the edge, grab it with both hands and lower himself down with little trouble.]

A reasonable course of action.

[He agreed with Chloe's plan, nodding and selected the door on the left to walk towards, careful of slipping on the wet ground. He wasn't going to lead the team that chose this pathway but he would follow.]

[ The door on the left side would lead into the flooded floor. If he were to walk in, he would find himself standing on a platform inside the water, in what appeared to be a bubble of air, the only one in this flooded world. Everything else was submerged by water and the scuba gears that could be found usually on this floor had disappeared. The water looked light green and

On this platform there was nothing but the door he came from (the door didn't connect to a wall, maybe actually a portal?) and a treasure chest on the ground.

Deep below he could see ruins and caverns, an entrance being obvious-- However there were many aquatic animals around, including sharks. However, these animals and the sharks now had a more demonic appearance. ]

[He thinks he'll stay on the platform for a few minutes and wait for the rest of his team to catch up before veneering any further forward into the flooded dungeon. Hidetoshi looks in puzzlement at the air bubble surrounding him, face dappled with the patterns of light green water, but with no small amount of relief.

Drowning didn't sound like an appealing way to go at all.

How is that door standing up by itself anyway.]

[Hei took on the leading roll for group two, stopping when he saw what was going on. Sharks....more sharks. He should have known. Still, at least he had more of an advantage here, unless this bubble broke, and he had to worry about the group's safety.]

Don't touch the water, though that goes without saying here.

[He concludes the lead to Hei without protest, and quietly readies his knives. In another setting, he might have been peeved but this was a hostile environment he was un-equiqed to deal with. The adult was better suited to the role of leader.

Should we go first for the treasure chest over there, or simply proceed directly to the entrance to the lower levels of this place?
