Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.

All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.

Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.

Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patience and sanity.


Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!

• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.

• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.

• They character may have found one of the black doors of Mordor leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.

• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

When Tohko heard the girl's voice, she looked up and spotted a girl with green hair standing in a nearby tree.

"It's Ganon! He's pulled us all here, from what I can tell!"

With some deft movements, she quickly jumped off the tree and landed on the ground; this girl had information, alright.

"Ganon? This person has so much power to corrupt nature in it's entirely and drag people to this... forest?" She spat the word out in disgust- this place was not fit to be classified as one.

Tohko sighed and nodded.

"He was able to make trees like this back in his universe out of people. And he almost turned me into stone and managed to turn my friend into a stone statue. It would surprise me that he could do this."

She could only sigh on hearing the girl recount this mysterious person's actions. Yet another villain on her endless quest to rebalanced the essences of the world.

"That's... horrible. So I guess the only way out is to beat him up?" She'd rather not do it, but violence, once again, seems like the only option.

At that, Tohko nodded and scratched her head.

"Either that or find out how he transformed the floors like this and reverse the process. Destroy his curse."

"Ah, and I was looking forward to a good day's rest too..."

She stretched, and strung her bow. Ready to kick some ass. But hang on...

"Mn. Do you have any leads on where this Ganon is? I don't know what he looks like, so I might even have passed him already without realizing..."

Stupid, stupid, stupid. Any one of those people she saw walking around could have been him already.

At that, Tohko sighed and shook her head.

"I'm afraid I don't know where he is. However, I can tell you what he looks like. He's huge and built like a truck. He has a red beard and hair too. There's no way you could miss him."

Big man with red hair, as well as matching beard. She quickly tried to remember if she saw such a man in the forest.

Nope.

"Mn, thanks for the info. I'm sure it would be a big help~

I didn't catch your name though- mine's Rena, sworn protector of the forests. Which is why..." She glared at the nearest 'tree', sure that it was staring at her.

At that, Tohko smiled and nodded, following Rena's gaze to the 'tree' before looking back at her.

"Oh, you're welcome! I'm glad I could help out! And it's nice to meet you Rena. I wouldn't worry too much though..these trees might just be an illusion. Ganon's good at making them. And I'm Tohko Amano, the book girl."

[swiftkicks]

"An illusion..."

She hesitantly walked over and touched the offending tree, withdrawing her hand with a shudder almost immediately after contact.

"It feels... very wrong. For an illusion."

She composes herself before addressing the girl again.

"Mn, nice to meet you then, Tohko. Though I guess the circumstances aren't really nice, are they?" She sighed. "Perhaps we should stick together for now? This place just feels... too corrupted to risk being alone."

At that, Tohko sighed and scratched her head.

"I know it feels dark, but..that's how Ganon is. He's not a very light person. And it is nice to meet you, even if the circumstances aren't that nice."

At the offer, Tohko nodded. She knew that they could both protect themselves, but there was nothing wrong with sticking together. That might actually help, in the end.

"That does sound like a good plan. I'm not sure what will jump out, so having two people fend off monsters instead of just one will be good."

She gave a dry chuckle at that. "I could see. A light person would not deal with such magic. And I hate to say it, but I've encountered trees like these before. A long time ago. Dark energies corrupted them to the core and became animated due to it. I had to put them down." You can almost feel the distaste rolling off her tongue.

With a weary sigh at what she has to go through again, she goes by Tohko's side, her bow at the ready. "Mn. I don't want to get grabbed by one of those hands again."

Tohko looked a little surprised at Rena's comments. She was aware that other universes could have similarities, but this was pretty interesting.

"I see..I'm sorry to hear that you had to face this once before. In Ganon's universe, it was even worse: people who entered a dark realm and stayed there for a long time eventually withered down and became trees like this."

Tohko, sadly, did not have her daggers, but she did have a lightning ring from Warmage to compensate. "You were brought here by a hand?"

"A dark realm... like the one we are in now?" No wonder everything felt wrong. Kidnapping, petrifying and now transforming people. Is it possible for this Ganon to get worse?

"Mn, a huge, purple hand that just extended from the ceiling. I should have been more prepared... especially in this tower. If only I had paid better attention..." She trails off. If only she reacted just a millisecond faster, she would have been able to dodge that grab.

But alas, look where she is now.

At that, Tohko nodded.

"Not exactly like this one..but it's pretty similar, from what I understand. I didn't think Ganon could make something like this here."

Tohko scratched her head as she processed that information. Why were the transportation methods different? Had Ganon summoned some people here and sent out hands to take care of the rest?

"Huh..a hand didn't pull me into this realm. I was walking around the library one moment, and the next, I was here. I guess Ganon has different transportation methods for different people."

[swiftkicks]

"Directed teleportation..."

That sounded familiar.

"You mentioned he tried to turn you into stone, right? I guess you pissed him off somehow, so he directly pulled you in his realm... and randomly picked targets. That included me."

At that, Tohko nodded, smiling a little.

"I have always been a thorn in his side, but I didn't think that I annoyed him so much that he would do this. He's like an elephant. I'm sorry that you got pulled into this though."

[swiftkicks]

"Mn, guys like these usually get angry over the smallest things, so it's to be expected.

And if I get sucked in this thing, I might as well try to help everyone! It's no big problem~ This is practically my daily routine, at this point of my 'adventure' of sorts."

"I suppose..that does fit what I've seen of it. Plus, he does always lose in his universe."

At that last comment, Tohko smiled and nodded.

"Right! It's good that you're willing to help out everyone! If you want, I'll walk around and help you out for as long as I can."

"Of course~ People like him always lose out in the end." If if they don't, she'll make sure of it.

"It'll be a pleasure, Tohko~"

"Well..I don't know if they always lose, but they usually do." After all, sometimes the villains in the stories won and killed the protagonists.

However, Tohko nodded again.

"Oh, the pleasure is all mine! Thank you!
