Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.

All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.

Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.

Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patience and sanity.


Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!

• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.

• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.

• They character may have found one of the black doors of Mordor leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.

• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

[A tree branch in the distance snaps.

Richtofen clicks his tongue.]

You don't have to, but wouldn't it be easier if you did? I wouldn't want to make things harder on you...

[He pauses for a second, then laughs again.]

Ahaha! Oh wait, yes I would! Hah!

Yes you... [He stops as Richtofen finishes and scowls, glancing fearfully in the distance of the snapping tree branch. That's the way he is heading then!]

Hm? What was that? Finish your sentences, boy!

[It sounds like there's some movement up high in a tree. The voice is still impossible to pinpoint, but maybe that tree would be a good place to start?]

[He heads for the tree, peering upwards through the branches.] Where are you?

That would be telling, wouldn't it?

[Richtofen chuckles. At the same time, there's a flutter of movement from the tree as one of the forest's resident mutations spots Shion. If Shion's able to get a good look at it, he'll see that it's a bird about the size of an adult crow. It has two rows of sharp teeth in its beak, and it screeches loudly as it dives for him.

Richtofen speaks quickly, though it's even harder to make out what he's saying over the screeching of the bird.]

Richtofen! [His eyes flash angrily and he brings up the EMR to protect himself from the angry bird. Swinging it as he took a good few steps backwards]

[Richtofen lets out a delighted giggle as the bird attacks Shion. Its screeching seems to have alerted other birds in the area, because soon, a swarm of about five birds, all with the same sharp teeth, are flying around Shion's head. These birds retain the abilities that they have in the Tower, so being around them will deactivate any of Shion's powers.]

[Once Richtofen's laughter dies down, he speaks up again, using an incredibly mocking tone.]

My, look at how angry they are! Wouldn't it be convenient if someone here had the ability to make them stop attacking you? Someone with infinite power over this realm, perhaps? Ohh, I wonder if there is anyone around here who could fit that description...

[As Shion has no powers it doesn't actually matter that much, he lashes out at the birds, getting bitten as he attempted to fight them off.

Richtofen's voice wasn't helping.] This is your realm?

[doctor_dismemberment]

[Richtofen sing-songs his answer.]

I never said that~ Though I'm flattered that you think I have infinite power.

[...]

Oh, wait... I do!

[And then he bursts into hysterical laughter again. The birds keep attacking Shion, so it's clear that if Richtofen can make them stop, he's not going to just yet.]

Do you? [Shion has never met him outside of the time where he was a zombie and had eaten Shion and turned him into a zombie to. To him Richtofen had pretty much infinite power.

He strikes at the birds again, trying to shield his face with one hand as he fights with the other.]

[doctor_dismemberment]

Ja, that is what I just said!

[Richtofen sounds like he's growing annoyed with this conversation.]

Now, would you like to beg me to help you, or should I let the birds pick at you for a while?

Stop them. [Shion lashes out as well, hitting a bird and sending it flying.]

[doctor_dismemberment]

Ah-ah-ah! [Richtofen's voice is dripping thick with condescension.] That does not sound very much like begging to me, little one.

[The bird seems to have damaged its wing, because it falls to the ground with a screech. That doesn't stop it from hopping forward and attempting to sink its jagged teeth into Shion's leg.]

[Shion winces as the teeth sink into his leg and bends down to try and detach the bird] I'm not going to beg you. Stop them right now.

[doctor_dismemberment]

Hmm... No. I think I will just let them keep doing what they're doing. Why mess with nature, right?

[Richtofen gives an easygoing chuckle.

This douchebag right here.]

Stop them. [His eyes flashed] Let me go.

[doctor_dismemberment]

I'm sorry, but I cannot hear you over the sound of those horrible abominations screeching. You're going to have to speak up.

[The birds become more fervent in their attacks, and, true to Richtofen's words, they caw and screech even louder as they attempt to claw and peck at Shion.]
