[Dark World Event] || [The Evil Realm] || [Open] || [2/3]
Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.
All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.
Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.
Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patienceand sanity.
Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!
• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.
• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.
• They character may have found one of the black doorsof Mordor leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.
• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

There, you see? Your... other self thingy wants to fight you! Why not let loose und do it?
[He then started to mock them in a sing-song tone.]
You won't be getting out of here until you do~ I suggest you get to it!
no subject
W-wha... Pittoo, no way! We already settled this, right? We can find another way out of here.
no subject
[He jumps back and fires off a shot - not close enough to injure, but close enough to be a warning shot. He can feel his heart beating fast out of fear.]
[He's not the original. He's not the hero. He knows he's the copy and always has. He's just covered for it. Sure, he doesn't want to be under anyone's thumb, but the truth is he's the one designed to be used.]
[The one getting out of here has to be the hero. Not him.]
no subject
I said no! We might not have started out the best, but we're friends now, right?! There's no way I could kill you!
[He tightened his grip on the Palutena Bow, trying to think; there had to be some other way out of this... t-there just had to be.]
no subject
[He fired off another shot, aimed to hit the other this time. He had to push him into doing this. Even if he wasn't going to be the one to make it out, a fight's a fight.]
no subject
You saved my life! Twice! That's the difference!
no subject
[He narrowed his eyes, and activated Burn Attack, firing off another shot at Pit. He knew that was a cheap shot, but if anything would jolt him out of this, it'd be the memory of fire.]
no subject
Pittoo, I don't want to do this!
[But he was already running for him, letting lose a volley from his bow.]

[As the blasts met, the light was bright enough that he could drop his with a cry, as if he'd been overpowered, and take the brunt of it.]
[It hurt. It hurt a lot, but he could still keep going. It'd look fake if he dropped this early. So he pulled himself to his feet and fired off a few more shots, going a bit wide this time as if his aim was unsteady.]
no subject
[...but what if that voice really wouldn't let either of them leave without killing the other?]
[The thought made him sick, but there was a thought that went along with it that was even worse, and his aim was suddenly off; he couldn't see through the tears in his eyes. It really... it really had to be him to move on, because if he was the one to die... then Dark Pit would cease to exist, just like what happened when he was trapped in the ring for three years.]
[He let out a sob as he pulled his bow back, blinking his eyes to force his vision to clear and trying not to sob.]
Pittoo...!
[...and he let go.]
no subject
[... He chuckled as he fell backwards, landing on his wings with a hard crunch.]
[It was over. He could technically still get up, but... it was over. He couldn't bring himself to move against the other anymore. He rolled onto his side, and stumbled to his knees, staring at his bow that had fallen.]
[Right. He had to finish this. He grabbed for it, and separated it into the blades. His wings sagged, unable to move. The pain sent sparks across his vision, and he was dizzy already.]
[He looked up at Pit, and ran his thumb against the blade, before ramming it into his chest, falling to the ground.]
no subject
[He grabbed for his double, trying to ignore the fact that he had part of his own bow in his chest, trying not to panic and scream and cry. No, no, no, no; just... just no!]
P-Pittoo...
[...man, calling him by his nickname right now wasn't fair.]
Dark Pit... just... I...!
[Dammit, so much for trying not to cry; he couldn't stop right now, and he almost felt like he was choking himself trying not to.]
no subject
Shut up and listen to me.
[He winced a little at how terrible his voice sounded, but that was the least of his worries at the moment.]
Finish this. Finish him. You've got a job to do. You're the hero. So don't mess it up, okay?
[He coughed, shuddering in pain and curling up, but didn't let go of Pit.]
I'm the copy, right? The one who was supposed to be cannon fodder. So don't worry about me. Just f...
[He cut himself off, letting go of the other to roll onto his stomach, grabbing the other half of his bow. He'd never hurt this much before. His wings jutted sideways, dead weight now.]
Go!
[Dark Pit turned his face away so the other couldn't see his tears. He shuddered, and slumped to the ground, face in the water.]
no subject
[He was silent for a long moment, before he finally pulled himself up, still crying uncontrollably. He didn't count on being able to stop any time soon, but he still walked over, recollecting his bow before he turned back to his mirror image.]
I'll finish off that guy with the funny accent for you. And when I get out of this place, and you're revived in the Tower? I'm so punching you for this.
[He paused again, wavering unsteadily, before heading straight for the door, afraid that if he looked back he was going to end up staying until Dark Pit died in his arms.]
1/2
Mm... Look at that. He's dead! You win!
[Richtofen sounds far giddier than any sane man should when talking about something like this.]
Now, that wasn't so hard, was it?

no subject
[Pit tightened his grip on his bow, gritting his teeth so hard they could crack. Finally he thrust his weapon out before him, striking a pose.]
Hear me, master of this dungeon! I am Pit, Servant of the Goddess of Light! You who made us do this horrible deed... it goes against everything I stand for! In the name of my twin, when I'm through with you, there won't even be hearts left!
So get ready, 'cause you're going DOWN!
[He shot forward then at a full sprint, barreling through the door.]
