Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.

All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.

Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.

Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patience and sanity.


Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!

• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.

• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.

• They character may have found one of the black doors of Mordor leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.

• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

[That is a long, slow blink Chung receives.] ... From the end, I'd assume? Interesting; is there a limit on how many or how often?

It would have good potential as a mid-range weapon, mmm... [oooops, there he goes.]

Mn! Mn! From the end. It can hold 5 grenades at most at a time then you just have to reload it! To do that, you just need to press this switch here. [And magical reloading like his cannon~!\o/]

So, you're going to use it then? [Looks up at expectantly. Look, into those puppy dog eyes, Raven!]

It might take some getting used to, but I can definitely see the use in it.

Well, no better time than the present to field test it, right? He disables the laser running along the edge of the blade Eve gave him to sheath it- look, a reason for all those belts he wears! ...what do you mean the other three are still uselessly extraneous?

...Anyway, Raven carefully accepts the gunblade from Chung now and gives it a few practice swings to test out the weight and balance.]

Really! Great! I'm so happy that you like it, Raven!!

Hmmm... maybe Raven has space for 3 more types of swords!

Well, it's not unwieldy somehow and the weight feels relatively well-distributed... A bit bulkier and heavier than Eve's creation of course, but given the nature of its secondary function, that makes sense.

Speaking of, Raven first brings the blade up with both hands to sight down it, not unlike what one would do with a crossbow or gun. There's something awkward about the motion though, so he pauses and lowers it. Curiously, he points toward the upper branches of a random, relatively distant tree, braces for recoil, and presses the trigger.

Hmm, recoil not that bad considering-]

...He could feel the sheer El energy from that even from this far away; Chung works with this all the time, and at even closer ranges? ...Well, he does have Freitunier...]

...It's surprisingly lightweight, despite its function and construction.

[Veteran Sword and/or Infinity Commander both have a nice ring to them!

And Chung watches with great interest as Raven tries out the sword he made.

The boy is, of course, unfazed by that. He works with explosion and alchemy every day, and that was rather minor explosion compared to what his Disfrozen Engine enhanced Destroyer can do! And yes, he does have Freiturnier to protect and shield him.]

I went through many designs and prototypes and this is the one I'm happiest with!

So... you'll be using it then, right?

[It's not like Raven's unfamiliar with explosions himself, con...sidering okay moving on- but wow, that's a rather... refined energy (is refined really the word to be using though when one's talking about explosions), there.

Magic grenade shells. Fun.]

It'd be a shame not to, really.

Great! Well, now we just have to figure out how to get out of here...

With this level of closed space, there should be some sort of origin, or caster responsible... [It's easier to treat this just as another leg of their travels- the situation is already incredibly similar to what had happened in Elder's Shadow Forest.]

Find that, destroy it... The closed space should break, I think.

[Ignoring the fact that this is just conjecture and it might not even function the same way, much less that doing so is easier said than done.]

I see... Let's go find the caster then! Where should we start?

Mmm... Deeper in, I'd wager. No telling whether the closed space is confined to this floor, though... I suppose it depends on what the caster is trying to accomplish, if anything.

[nods] Deeper then. [he adjusts his hold on his canon] Ready?
